Group 1: Jasmine Davis, Kyle Capener, Paloma Aguilar, & Monte Taylor
They head inside, find tickets to the BB Fest twist, and head outside to scan their tickets to determine where they’ll be competing. All four end up at the Porta Potties station. Well that sounds nice.
Group 2: Alyssa Snider, Daniel Durston, Michael Bruner, Taylor Hale
Ready to scan their BB Fest tickets… Michael goes to the Merch Stand along with Alyssa and Daniel. Taylor heads to the Piercing Tent. These will be stations for upcoming competitions tonight.
Group 3: Nicole Layog, Turner, Joseph Abdin, and Brittany Hoopes
They grab their BB Fest tickets and head to the backyard. Nicole got the porta potties. Turner, Joseph, and Brittany all head to the piercing tent.
Group 4: Terrance Higgins,Indy Santos, Joe Pooch, and Ameerah Jones
Terrance gets the piercing tent, Ameerah & Indy get the merch stand, and Pooch pulled the Backstage Boss card. He heads up to the balcony to overwatch the comps, but won’t be playing in this first night of challenges.
BB Fest Competitions:
Three comps. Three winners who will move onto the next round.
Comp 1 – Porta Potties:
- Round 1: Paloma eliminated
- Round 2: Jasmine eliminated
- Round 3: Nicole eliminated
- Round 4: Kyle liminated
- Winner: Monte
Comp 2 – Piercing Tent:
- Turner is the first to clip-on a set of 10 jewelry pieces and wins. Wait, what? That was the comp??
Comp 3 – Merch Stand:
- Hanging Tough is this third comp. The HGs have to hang on to a t-shirt raised off the ground. Last hanging on wins… Alyssa then Ameerah then Indy and finally Michael drop.
- Winner: Daniel
HOH Comp – Drumming For Power:
The first three comps’ winners are about to face off to be the first HOH. Monte, Turner, and Daniel will battle it out to be the first to complete their fake drumset puzzle and then hit the buzzer to win.
- Daniel is the first Head of Household!
Backstage Boss twist: Pooch is safe for the week but can’t participate in the comps nor can he be nominated. But here comes the kicker. Pooch also has to pick three HGs to join him, but unlike Pooch, these three HGs can still be evicted they just can’t compete this week. Ouch!
Pooch’s Picks: Paloma, Alyssa, and Brittany.
Pooch says he picks Paloma and Alyssa because they were the first out in their respective comps. Then since the second comp with jewelry didn’t have a “first out” he just picked Brittany because she “stood out.”
But wait, there’s more! Julie reveals we can vote to save one of these three HGs picked by Pooch from eviction this week. Learn more about this week’s America’s Vote to save the HGs or jump ahead and vote now: CBS.com/BBVote
