Julie Chen on Big Brother
Host Julie Chen Moonves on Big Brother

Get ready for CBS with Big Brother 27 in 2025 this summer as the next season of our favorite Reality TV series takes over our screens and daily lives for its 27th spin. That’s incredible! Another summer of fun with host Julie Chen Moonves and another batch of Houseguests ahead on BB27!

When will we get Big Brother’s 27th season? While BB25 started in August I think it’s more likely we’ll see a repeat of BB26’s schedule with a July season premiere on CBS and a 90-100 day run taking us into mid October. As long as we don’t hit into November again I can deal with October, but I sure do miss those mid-June to mid-September seasons from the pre-pandemic era!

But regardless of when will BB27 start, we want to make sure you’re ready and even apply if you’re so bold!

Big Brother 27 Casting:

Yes, you can still apply to be on Big Brother for the 2025 season but be careful and make sure you’re using the official BB27 casting website. Never pay to apply! The online application is available and the casting director Jesse Tannenbaum has shared his tips on what they’re looking for in your video submissions. Take note and listen to the man in charge!

Big Brother 27 Schedule:

If you’re more like me then you’re going to be enjoying Big Brother from this side of the screen and we expect to be watching next season starting in July. Of course we’ve seen much later starts in recent years, but I think CBS likes getting this to fill in their summer schedule and then back out of the way before the fall season sets in too deeply.

We’ll be watching for CBS’s official announcement on when BB27 starts and will share that here when we hear more details. But whenever that may be, watch for three nights a week and likely on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays once again.

Big Brother 27 Live Feeds:

The Live Feeds changed a lot last season and I expect those cost cutting measures to return for the BB27 Feeds. Of course I’m talking about the lack of Flashback last year which meant it was either live or you missed it. Awful, awful, awful. But think of the tens of dollars it saved CBS!

So I expect Feeds will be back but likely once again without the benefit of a rewind feature to catch that important conversation or blowup in the backyard. Sigh. What a flop decision.

Of course you can try it for free first through the Paramount+ app and then watch it all season for a few bucks a month.
