Big Brother 10 Week 2 HoH Jessie’s Expected Nominations

| July 17, 2008 at 9:59 AM EDT

Jessie Big Brother 10Renny’s nightmare came true last night when Jessie stepped up and took over in the 4-way tiebreaker during the Big Brother 10 HoH competition. Now with the bodybuilder at the helm I’m expecting a more forceful and directed plan of attack over what we saw with Jerry last week.

So who has Jessie set his sights on? His obvious desire is to see Renny gone. He’s expressed this repeatedly both before and after becoming HoH. Fortunately for Renny, Jessie has Memphis to keep his emotional needs in check. Memphis is playing a strong role in helping to navigate these nominations and is steering Jessie away from Renny. Instead these two guys have agreed that either Dan or Steven needs to go this week.

Later today Jessie will make his BB10 nominations known to the house. From what we’ve seen on the live feeds I’m expecting Jessie to stick to the plan and nominate two of the following three: Dan, Steven, and Renny. Renny may be a stand in as a back-up for a possible PoV win that doesn’t synch with Jessie’s plans so he could later swap in Steven or Dan.

Watch the houseguests get stressed out with paranoia as the nominations approach. Sign up now and watch how the house is reacting to Jessie’s win.

Evel Dick Hosting Pre-Eviction Live Show On Feeds

| July 16, 2008 at 5:25 PM EDT

Evel Dick Big BrotherGet ready for something totally new and very awesome for Big Brother 10. RealNetworks has arranged to have Evel Dick, the winner of Big Brother 8, host a live, pre-eviction show each week, starting tonight, on the SuperPass Live Feeds:

Join Evel Dick and special guests for a live Webcast every Wednesday before the live show on CBS. Dick and friends will start broadcasting at 4 PM Pacific / 7 PM Eastern.

ED’s very first show is about to launch, so I’ve got my feeds up and running while I wait for the fun to start. I’m psyched to have this bonus for the feeds this year. It’s worth noting that I heard this was Evel’s idea as well. Smart guy, huh? Damn right.

Jump on the live feeds and join the rest of us for Evel Dick’s live, pre-eviction show then stop back by Big Brother Network for the live eviction spoilers!

Big Brother 10 Week 1 Eviction Prediction – Plus Backyard Blowup

| July 16, 2008 at 7:56 AM EDT

[Ed. note: For an explanation of the PoV winner discrepancy, please see my note on the respective posts (click here for the details).]

Ready for the first live eviction of Big Brother 10? Allegedly the evictions this season will be shared with a live audience, something we haven’t seen since very early on in Big Brother history. Whether it’s Renny or Brian, the first evictee of Big Brother 10 will walk out the door and meet Julie Chen on the couch tonight.

My prediction? Hands down it’ll be Brian. With ten people voting and eight of them brow beating Jerry into nominating Brian (as we saw on last night’s episode) I think it’s a given. That’s a shame for a couple of reasons. Brian seemed like he’d be an interesting HG to follow with all his plotting and planning. Renny? Not so much. But Brian got cocky, over extended himself, and is about to get cut off because of it. He did this to himself.

In more exciting Big Brother 10 news, there was a huge cat fight in the backyard last night on the live feeds. Apparently April and Keesha aren’t going to mesh very well at all. Arguments were followed by yelling, followed by tears. Keesha feels that April has been busily talking smack about her behind her back and she got fed up with it. Oh these girls are gonna make for great feeds!

Sweet Dreams Are Made Of Sticky Big Brother 10 PoVs

| July 15, 2008 at 9:14 PM EDT

The first Power of Veto episode of the Big Brother 10 season was great. We got paranoia, mind control attempts, betrayal, and a backyard full of sticky honey and a giant bed full of teddy bears.

Setting us up for an intense conclusion later we follow Brian around as he informs us just how much he’s in control of the BB10 house. Let’s see how long that’ll last.

We get a glimpse of the budding romance between April and Ollie. On the live feeds we’re seeing a lot of flirting and cuddling between these two and I imagine it’ll only keep growing as the season continues.

Power of VetoEnough of the drama, it’s time for a competition, the first PoV of the season. Jessie and Renny are on the block and they know they’ll have to win this to insure their safety. Big Brother put together what has to be one of the messiest competitions ever. The HGs have to climb through a river of sticky honey, find five matching bears while crossing the river each time, and then be the first to collect them all. In the end it came down to Michelle and Jessie with Jessie taking the big prize and securing his safety. Looks like I was close, but still wrong on the rumored winner.

Big Brother 10 Week 1 PoV Preview – Jerry’s New Target

| July 15, 2008 at 7:21 AM EDT

Big Brother 10 logoTonight on Big Brother 10 we’re going to be treated to the first Power of Veto (PoV) competition of the season, unless, that is, it’s another “vote for who you want to win”. Lucky for us, we already know how this turned out, so if you don’t want BB10 spoilers: stop reading now.

Yesterday we found out that Jerry had won the PoV, which I’ll admit surprised me. This guy could turn into a real contender if he plays his cards right. However, his decision to target Brian, his first BB10 alliance member, might not be the most strategic move. Sure, Brian told us he’d stick around as long as the deal was good, but to strike this early at Brian just because he had another alliance is only going to make folks cold to the idea of aligning with Bitter Jerry in the future.
