Whoa! It’s felt like a long time since we’ve had a night time competition and Big Brother 13 nearly surprised us with the move, but it turned out to be a trick. Late last night, after an explosive Nomination ceremony, Kalia was called back to the Diary Room and informed that Veto players would be picked right then. But after a night of waiting, the Veto didn’t play out until this morning. Welcome back, Big Brother drama! Where have you been all summer? We’ve missed you.
Read on to find out who won and what that means for the game this week.
Big Brother 13 Week 5 Power of Veto results:
Friday was another high-emotion day in the Big Brother 13 house. After Kalia’s win as the new HoH it was her turn to make nominations and boy did those not go over well. Daniele continued to whisper ideas in Kalia’s ear. Before the night was over, nominations were made, tears were flowing, and there were even names drawn for the Veto competition. There’s a lot to catch up on so read on to see what happened.
Big Brother 13 Live Feed Highlights – August 5, 2011:
Last night on Big Brother 13 we saw a Newbie win the Head of Household after four wins by the returning HGs. Considering the relationship between Kalia and Daniele, tonight’s nominations should be no surprise. Daniele’s enemies are now Kalia’s.
There are still multiple opportunities ahead for the nominees as the Veto competition is held this week and the upcoming twist battle is just a little further down the road. Read on to find out who is nominated and who was fighting before the ceremony.
Big Brother 13 Week 5 Nominations:
We finally have a Newbie in control of the nominations this week as Kalia fended off the Veterans to take the top prize of HoH this week. Kalia’s nominations should be pretty obvious, at least to her partner in crime Daniele, but the new HoH still has some decisions to make. Of course there’s also the albatross of this “unknown” twist (we know all the details, but HGs do not) and its impact on the eventual eviction.

We caught up with Brendon today to get his thoughts on Big Brother 13. I think he’s totally real with his answers and I’m pleasantly surprised. I was happy to see him go out with class last night.
Chloe - Why didn’t you work with Daniele and evict Adam instead of Dominic?
Brendon – Because I knew that Daniele wanted Dominic there to work with him and I didn’t trust that she would keep Rachel and I over Dominic, especially after she wanted to betray our alliance so early on.
Chloe - Who would you like sitting next to Rachel in the final two?
Brendon – I would really like to see Jordan sitting next to Rachel in the final two, because Rachel fought very hard to get there and I know no one will want to give Jordan half a million dollars again.
Chloe – Which cast do you believe was better between your two seasons and why?
