The return of Big Brother is nearly here with just three weeks from tonight until the premiere of Big Brother 25! The 25th installment of our summer fun has become a little more of a summer/fall fun this time around as CBS has shifted the new season’s launch all the way out to August 2, 2023. And that means a late season finale too which could drag out until November. Regular ol’ Big Brother in November?? Craziness.
Initially we had heard that BB25 would kick off today, but that was soon eclipsed by an August start which turned out to hold true when CBS confirmed the rumors. So instead we’ll be spending the next three weeks watching and waiting for the reveal of the Big Brother 25 cast, theme and design hints, a reveal of the BB25 house, and of course anything we can learn about the new season’s twists.
Oh, and there’s a 25th Season special show coming up the week before the season premiere! Past HGs have been gathering to record bits for the show and it’ll air on CBS on July 26th at 9PM ET/PT, so be sure to watch for that too.
When will we get all that preseason content for Big Brother? Generally we get the cast about a week before the season, so that could be tied into the special show on the 26th. House tour video with host Julie Chen Moonves should be a nudge before that, maybe that Monday (July 24th). And then after that we’ll be waiting for premiere night on August 2nd and the Live Feeds to come back one of those first nights of the season, still waiting for just when those kick off.
