Steven needs to do exactly what he is doing, lay-low and only win when he has too. And right now, he is in a position where he may be used as a pawn but will not be the primary target. Also, I must say in defense to Steven’s game, I do believe that not winning comps has been his strategy since day one. Although he is not a strong physical competitor, he is intelligent and has won when he felt the need to.
I do feel that we will start seeing more out of Steven from this point forward. He is savvy enough to know that it would be beneficial to a have few HOH wins on his resume if he wants to take home the money. Now would be the time to kick it into gear, win HOH, and take out a few easy targets. If he can pull this off, love it or hate it, Steven could be your next winner.
As far as who has disappointed me this week, I’m going to keep this short. Shelli Poole has been both a strong strategic and physical player in this game. For the most part, she has also been able to keep her emotions in check. At the beginning of this week, Shelli was NOT the target. Vanessa was. Then Shelli decided it would be a good idea to take Clay’s sweatshirt back from James without telling him. James noticed the sweatshirt was gone and it immediately became apparent to him that Shelli was still mad at him and would most likely target him if she one HOH.
Shelli’s decision to take the sweatshirt, coupled with Vanessa’s decision to divulge some of Shelli’s game moves, has resulted in Shelli now being the target and in danger of going home. Let this be a valuable lesson to everyone who has aspirations of being a houseguest. DO NOT SHOW YOUR EMOTIONS! Especially when you’re on the block! I know Shelli may be able to re-enter the game with the buyback but if that doesn’t work out, that’ll be one expensive sweatshirt…
