The new season of Big Brother 23 has just kicked off and we’ve already got the first twist of the season with Teams & Captains, just as Julie promised. For the first four weeks, the teams will compete together and share safety when one of them wins.
During the season premiere’s introductions, the HGs battled in groups of 4 to decide who would be those captains before later going to select their teams, schoolyard style. Here’s your breakdown on those teams and each of their captains.
Team 1: Jokers
Team 2: Aces
Team 3: Kings
Team 4: Queens
During the first Head of Household competition, Team Jokers took the win which made Frenchie the first HOH of Big Brother 23. Julie then offered him a “double or nothing” with *two* weeks of safety for his team if he could toss two oversized dice onto a nearby platform. He declined, tried it anyway, and succeeded, but not double safety for them. Keeping one week and HOH is a good enough deal.
Also during that HOH comp, Team Kings came in last (Aces got second and Queens got third) so Christian and company are the Have-Nots of the first week. Oops!
Now you’ve got your Teams and Captains for the Big Brother 23 twist to start the season. It won’t last long but I’m pretty sure they hope this will block any mega-alliances. Let’s see if it’ll work or not.
Are you happy with Frenchie and the Jokers winning safety? Which team do you think will have the best shot in the first month of Big Brother? Share your pick below.
