Houseguests are lined up in the backyard for the Veto comp. Players have been drawn and all are ready to play.

Now we’ll see if the nominees will change to give us the final noms of tonight’s Double Eviction.

Little time to decide. The Houseguests will head back inside for the second eviction vote of the night.

HGs will now vote to evict either Jackie or Meg, but it looks like it’ll be Jackie.

We’ll end tonight’s Big Brother without a new Head of Household, but fear not because that will be covered soon after the show. We’ll be watching online with the Live Feeds to see who won the comp so we can start preparing for Friday’s nominations and Saturday’s Power of Veto.

        But the night turned out WORSE… w/Steve (the dud) winning HOH, noms Meg/Jackie, JMac wins Veto & keeps noms same (apparently Steve had him to that, just guessing) and Jackie’s out. HO HUM had to rewind 3 times to see the whole thing, kept falling asleep.

        Wish now I hadn’t recorded it. LOL!!! There was nothing exciting and I was expecting a great DE.

      • Not really. Steve hates Becky, as we all know. And also, as we all know, Becky is John’s closest friend and ally. Considering how perceptive John’s been over the last week, I’m sure he realized that if he used the Veto, there was a strong chance that Becky would be the replacement, and then she would be screwed. And by extension, HE would be screwed.

        I put this all on Steve. Whatever the heck was going through his mind when he put up Meg and Jackie, it certainly wasn’t something smart.

      • I’m just curious why you think it wasn’t a good move? Steve wasn’t in their alliance so why make an enemy out of John when they’ve been working together by putting Becky up. I think he made a smart move.

      • Because if Becky was clearly his target (which, let’s face it, she was), why not just throw her right on the block? DE is not the time to backdoor someone, it’s when you hit your target with everything you’ve got. Not to put up two weak players and then hope that the POV King doesn’t get chosen to protect his main ally.

        Steve didn’t make any friends with this move. He angered what was left of the Goblins, and the rest of the house is just as alienated from him as before, if not more so, considering how universal the confusion around his nominations was. All Steve did was make himself a target.

      • What are you talking about? Steve has more than half the house on his side. He’s been working with Vanessa, Austin and the twins since week two. He’s also been working with JMac. They were talking last night and JMac said if either won go after the gremlins. Maybe he changed his mind and didn’t want to backdoor Becky. Didn’t you see JMac and Steve talking right before the POV ceremony tonight? They decided together.

  116. I think both JohnnyMac and Steve just sealed their fates with Becky and James. Maybe even with Austin as well.

      • I forgot to mention that Becky would have hoped the same thing that James was hoping for. A bigger target but with JohnnyMac not using the VETO, there would be no bigger target and now Becky will have to see who wins the next HOH and see if she then goes up on the block.

      • James would have expected JohnnyMac to remove one of the girls in hopes that a bigger target would go up and make his choice in evicting someone that much easier.

      • Kind of threw you for a loop did it? OK, Austin was looking forward to working with James,Meg and Jackie. This threw a wrinkle in his plan as well. I hope this helps you out a little.

      • Austin wasn’t looking forward to working with James, Meg and Jackie. Austwins were secretly planning their demise. Steve did Austwins’ dirty work for them.

      • I think if given the chance, Austin would have put them on the block. However, he was wanting to work with them long enough to get Vanessa out the door. This is what I was referring too.

If we don’t defend the right to speak freely we are indeed lost as a society… In this case however Rhonda really did come out swinging hard with some pretty strong language (and a misspelled word she later edited and claimed it was spelled correctly from the beginning).. Now do we burn her alive for this? Of course not. But when I tried to extend to her the courtesy of saying the military is an understandably sensitive topic she came at me hard also… Again, she has the right to spit in my face when I was trying to give her a way out from all the arrows coming at her, but at the same time, it won’t really make her a likeable person either… As Dr.Phil famously says: ”When you choose the behaviour, you also choose the consequence”

I don’t know why the subject is so sensitive to her—none of my business—but there is a reason. I HAVE to give people the benefit of the doubt—particularly as many have noted, this is not typical behavior from her. We don’t know what happened in her life today.       • I definitely hear you, but I would never say the attacker should receive more nurturing than the attacked…so while I agree with you that Rhonda deserves grace, I think we should also never lose sight that it was Sophie who was attacked. Gosh you’ve seen me come to people’s defense all the time when they are misunderstood on here, but at the same time when somebody is verbally attacked, they need to know they will be defended.

  175. Now if JohnnyMac,Becky, Meg and James can finally get on the same page then maybe Vanessa or one of the twins will go home next week. Steve is still to damned jittery and could vote either way but the vote will be 3 to 3 with James breaking the tie. That is if all of this goes the way I hope it goes.

  177. If Becky, James or John win the next HoH comp could be great for their gameplay, but if Vanessa, Austin, Liz, or Julia win, the three outsiders could have their days counted.

      • John dislikes Vanessa though, he wants her gone the most out of anyone, so I don’t see the reason why he wouldn’t. Personally I feel the reason the reason Steve didn’t put her up was because he still feels loyal to her, which is dumb on his part.

      • I felt that Vanessa wanna take Steve to the F2 because he’s not a threat, and well he’s not making strong moves, so maybe Van thinks that it could be an easy victory.

      • Vanessa is a way more emotional player than Derrick, but pretty much the dynamic is the same in the sense where she’s using him strictly for the F2, and his vote.

      • Yes, but I think that if they 2 reach the F2, maybe the houseguests could pick Steve as the next winner.

      • They’re not. Steve hardly made any big moves. Sure, he won some things, only because he had to, but once he got some power he backed out of making the moves he needed to for HIS GAME and instead gave more ammo to a person who is strictly using him for a F2. Pretty much everyone except for the twins and Meg would flat out beat him in a F2, and even then the twins and Meg have more supporters in Jury and a better social game. Unless Steve actually gets it together, and makes some good moves to benefit himself, he’s not going to win.

      • Exactly. That’s Steve’s main purpose at this point besides being a pawn. That’s why Meg was saved too, because who’s going to vote out players you can easily beat towards the end?

      • I know, but it seems like everyone is voting together. John follows the twins group even though Becky is with the goblins.

      • John def does not follow the twins. He doesn’t dislike them, but he doesn’t follow them either.

      • Actually I think that if Becky wants to keep Shelli, her best move it would have been put Austin and Vanessa on the block, but well, it’s time to wait for the next episode.

    • James would put up Steve and Becky with John as the back up. Seriously. He plays to personal of a game.

      • That would be the smart move. I haven’t seen many of those yet. The Clay/Shelli nom and John potentially saving Becky by not using the veto are about the high water mark for this season.

  181. This was a smart move on Steve part. He reinforces the Vanessa alliance, gets out one who originally targeted Vanessa, he knows Vanessa will target becky, so that’s one less in the alliance, leaving only James and Meg (ha), this will also increase the Austwins aggressiveness to go after the other side of the house, and gains some goodwill with becky. Since becky should now be after those thar betrayed her.

    He probably didn’t think of all this, but this could be very beneficial.

    • I don’t think he is getting Becky’s goodwill. Two people in the house Becky liked, Shelli and Jackie. Both are gone, one at the hands of Steve. This will be a Jason situation all over again.

Vanessa threw the HOH comp to Steve too. I tell you this was planned.

    And Vanessa and Steve are the only two in on this. This is why Vanessa came out of the house the other day telling everyone in her alliance not to talk game with Steve anymore. She claimed he told her he is in an alliance with JMAC and Shelli so she is done with him. Misdirection. Why would Steve tell her outright he is in an alliance? That makes no sense. Steve never commits to anything. While she is saying that, Steve is telling Shelli has has to give Vanessa his vote.

    Tonight, Vanessa goes to Meg to tell her it was not personal. Steve put her up as a pawn. Why would Vanessa have to do damage control for Steve?

    Even Austwins don;t know about this plan. Because Vanessa is going to do the same thing to them. This is how she gets the twins out without getting blood on her hands.

    I know it sounds elaborate, but it is Vanessa all over. Her only problem is how does she announce this so she gets credit for it when its final 2. Becky seems to have figured it out or at least she smells a rat. Can James and Meg mend their issues with Becky and work with JMac now to put an end to Vanessa’s nonsense?

  241. This is exactly what the Goblins get for leaving Vanessa in the game. I absolutely LOVE IT. She was selling out Steve to them the entire week when in reality, he was still in her pocket. Vanessa got Steve to do her dirty work and that’s what the Goblins get for trusting Vanessa. VERY well played by Vanessa. There’s no doubt in my mind had Shelli stayed, Steve would’ve put up Austin and the twins.
    I’m very surprised at all the back lash for this double eviction. I thought it was awesome and I LOVE that Becky and John both stayed. That’s all I wanted. Now business is about to pick up moving forward.

    • I have to say, the likability of this cast is pretty low. Jace was obnoxious. Jeff was a non-stop talker incapable of keeping any information secret. Austin has been pretty creepy at times. Vanessa is a crazy pathological liar. Shelli was the entitled queen. The twins are spoiled brats – nasty too. Meg just sleeps and is stupid. James is easily influenced. Steve is, well, Steve.

      I could go on but why bother. Becky is annoying but at this point I give her credit for making a comeback after a really dismal first 5 or 6 weeks.

    • James is more to blame for the goblins going after Shelli than the idiot Meg. It was James who flipped his camo lid over Shelli taking his shirt (even though Julia actually took it). James was adamant about getting out Shelli and making a deal with the Austwins.

      The problem with the goblins is they won once then it went to their head.s They never planned for the times when they woudln’t win. They isolated themselves instead of socializing and it hurt them.

      They are done. As their numbers dwindle the likelihood of winning future HoH comps decreases. But, we are getting close to the point where Vanessa will need to start eating her own. I do not believe she will take the twins to final 2 especially now that Liz has won another HoH comp (that’s as many as Vanessa). Van wants to take someone she will beat in votes. With Austin and a twin in teh jury house she is already at a disadvantage, especially if the remaining twin is Liz.

      But to take out the twins and Austin, she needs numbers. I am guessing she is going to save James and try to get him to take them out. As soon as Becky is out, I think Vanessa makes her first move on the twins. She will use Steve to do it.

I don’t particularly have an issue with Julia, who seems a little isolated at the moment. But, at the end of the day she listens to her sister. He is winning comps when he has to and throwing comps when he can.

      He just evicted Jackie with Meg on the block and James and Meg are not holding him responsible!

  303. Shelli was evicted last week when Clay went home,she lost a vote but more important someone who could have won the POV and saved her,she had no back-up eviction night,the uncoupling was fatal to her game.

  304. The right move for Steve tonight was to take out Becky,that should have been his number one target,go for a strong player when you got the chance,Meg. or Jackie could be taken out at anytime..hep.

    • This was my thinking also, Jackie and Meg would be as suitable next week Steve? Could have made a big move but nope’d it away.

    • Because Steve’s move was engineered by Vanessa and she wanted to take out the Goblins without getting blood on her hands or breaking her DE deal.

      Steve reasons for taking out Jackie were stupid. First, he knew the Austin BD plan. There is no way Steve, who knows everything in the house, didn’t know Austin was the BD plan and not him.

      Then this other nonsense about not making a connection with Jackie? That’s a game move? Seriously? Jackie was on Vanessa’s radar for a while. As Becky said, she stood up to Vanessa so she was a target.

      • That’s a good outlook but does Steve really believe John or Van really has creepy Steve’s back? And would now trust Mr Storage to have theirs?

      • Van and Steve have a weird relationship. Neither of them intend on making good on their F2 deal, but they are useful to each other in the near-term, especially with the jury buyback coming up. One of them is going to get the other. It’s just a matter of gauging the house and winning the right comp.

        John, OTOH, needs Steve. He has very little solid support because of his early floater game, so he needs a fellow early floater. Yes, he will take Becky to the end over Steve, but John and Steve’s deal is much more long-term than the Van/Steve deal.

Also another dynamic now at play here is the jury house-the people who you send out determine your fate at the end,so how they go home can make or break a winner but also how the person played the game through out the summer,tonight the game finally got serious as they now march to the final two.Derrick won the final vote based on respect on how he played the game,right now respect this season is a endangered species.

  306. If van goes to the final two nobody’s going to vote for her. She has done every one dirty and that’s gonna bite her on her ass even though she is the only one playing the game to win. If Becky would have kept her mouth shut van would be gone. She made a point of telling them to never use the v word and she told everyone before the night was over. I want to see her sitting next to Johnny Mac in the final two she won’t have a chance. I hate how she’s talking to Steve and I do believe he is so much smarter than she is. Another week of hearing her talk and talk and talk makes you want to stick a ice pick in your ear. I dvr everything so I can fast forward her when I have had enough of her. Becky should go because she couldn’t keep her mouth she hurt her whole team just to be friends with shelli.

Steve has been preaching bout dropping her off at the next stop for a while now…..Gets in charge has the shot to pull the trigger and shoots Jackie cause she’s just not into you???? He is a fan of the show clearly knows who the hell is running things and takes out the smallest of threats to him????

      • Lol, I know! I am hoping the smartest player wins the game and right now I don’t know who that is. Vanessa may come a little closer to being that but Austin is also not too bad either considering he is easily running Liz’s decisions. Austin just want to have as many numbers behind him, which is smart on his part. Vanessa the same.

    • Andy won and he was a bigger rat than Vanessa. People in the house talk about how good Vanessa is at playing the game. They will vote for her if she is final two. I think BB tells them not to hold grudges since everyone is playing the game and the object is to get everyone else out of the house.

      • Totally agree,they will vote for a player who does anything to survive and Vanessa is a survivor.

  307. Anybody else intrigued by the idea of a JMac-Vanessa-Steve alliance to rid the house of the village idiots? Think about it…

    1. Neither JMac or Steve feel safe around either Goblins or Austwins.
    2. Steve would have both of his buddies in his Alliance.
    3. JMac’s chances of furthering himself in game would dramatically improve, and he could eventually oust his nemesis, Vanessa, in F3.
    4. The ultimate irony is that Vanessa already had it “in the works”, yet somehow Austin/Judas came up with a brilliant plan for Vanessa to have a “fake threesome” with them…and the twins are all on board!

    Perfect! (Or scripted?)

    Either way…….Go, Johnny, go!!!

    • I do find it interesting that Vanessa talked F3 with the twins about 2 hours before offering a F3 with JMac and Steve.

      However, the village idiots are still talking about joining forces for F6. But being village idiots they decided to bring Vanessa into it. Ugh!

      • Yes, but think about it from Vanessa’s perspective:

        1. Austin and twins are pretty tight…She’s first to go.
        2. JMac and Steve win comps.

        She feels she can persuade Steve to do her bidding. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!!!

      • And her talk means what exactly? If Vanessa decides to take a gremlin to final, gremlin should win because they managed to get through.

    • It wouldn’t be a solid one. I would expect Jmac and Steve to ride with Vanessa for a while, but then boot her at F5 or F4.

  310. What?? I didn’t catch all the feeds but Jokers is saying that Austwins and Vanessa are making two six person alliances with James and Meg on one side and Steve and JMac on the other. I guess they are hoping JMac does not reveal this to Becky.

    to me this is all overkill. There are 5 of them including Steve and they have the current HOH. Soon it will be 5-3 or 5-2-1. All this overplanning is just s stupid waste of time and can only work for 1 week. It has Vanessa written all over it.

    Vanessa’s strategy musts be lets throw so much stuff out there people’s heads spin. Sounds a lot like Audrey.

    • I think he knows how to play. He’s trying to make himself as small a target as possible for everyone while winning some comps along the way–putting up the two weakest players left says a lot. The only problem is, he will need some help along the way. He must know he has to crack the Austwins and Vanessa to win. Only problem is, he needs other people to help him do it–otherwise, he might be left having to win HOH or POV every week. Which leads to the obvious question–where is his help going to come from? They’re walking out the door in a hurry.

      • If Johnny mac makes it to final 2 against anyone his wins because he is will liked it won’t be about game play

  315. Out of all the seasons of BB, and yes, I’m a SuperFan, this is the first time in the history of the feeds being online, that I have not watched the hamsters live in action. It seems to me that AG tried to recreate last season, all the way down to many of the comps, and it’s just not working for me. Maybe Derrick and hit HitMan over did it for me last year, so imho, this season is so completely boring…. *YAWN*
    So I’ll be here, looking forward to BB18 and that’s sooo far away – That is if AG is lucky enough to get a season 18.

    • I really hope that happens. Vanessa and Shelli are the two strongest players this season! That would be an awesome final 2! Vanessa would have to win, of course!

  318. I officially can’t stand Steve anymore. Jackie was one of my favorites and he kept going on and on and on about how he wanted to get rid of Becky, he had his chance, he just didn’t have the guts to do what he kept preaching he wanted to do. If James gets evicted too, I’m not watching the rest of the season. The twins are starting to get on my nerves.
