Stepping outside of the room Steve asks Austin, who has arrived, if he (Steve) created a 5-HG alliance to target Vanessa. Oops. Now Austin is being confronted about one of his side alliances in front of his other side alliance, Meg and James. Austin says that yes, it was Steve.
Austin, Liz, and Vanessa move to the Lounge where Vanessa starts her crying, sniffling routine. Flashback to 10:57 AM BBT. She promises Liz and Austin that she’s not mad at them. Vanessa says they were justified in not trusting her, but Steve has no reason to distrust her so she feels most betrayed by him.
They continue to loop around what’s been going on with the 5-HG alliance and how Vanessa isn’t mad and doesn’t blame them. She’s upset about John too for getting under her skin. Vanessa says, “it’s morning and it’s easier to get in my head because my meds haven’t kicked in yet.”
Vanessa is adamant that Steve needs to go this week. Speaking of Steve, he shows up and wants to come in but Vanessa isn’t having it. Back to their talk, Vanessa suggests it’d be better to keep John since he doesn’t know the game. John has actually kept it under wraps that he’s a super fan as well.
Liz and Vanessa leave while Austin grabs Steve and pulls him in to the Lounge. Flashback to 11:11 AM BBT. Austin says he had no choice but to burn Steve when he publicly asked who created the 5-HG deal in front of his other alliance. Austin isn’t trying at all to hide he’s working with everyone on all sides.
Austin says he wants to keep Steve and will campaign to keep him. He’ll keep working on Steve’s behalf to calm Vanessa and get the target on John instead. At this point the Feeds cut for the Ceremony. Get the latest spoilers on what happened with the PoV.
It’s sure to be a fun week as we watch to see who gets evicted on Thursday and who gets their way as both nominees remain top targets to be sent out to Jury.
