Big Brother is back tonight for the Power of Veto and it’s our one episode this week that hasn’t changed its timeslot for CBS but it has been extended to TWO hours. Wednesdays are remaining at 8/7c while Sundays are now much later at 10:30/9:30c and Thursdays moved up to 8/7c.
Yep, settle in for a very long Veto episode with a two-hour runtime that I’m expecting to go heavy on the fluff since there were no extra events or competitions for the Houseguests in Week 6 of Big Brother 25. We do have the themed cross promotion of Buddy Games with host Josh Duhamel, so watch for plenty of reminders on that new show.
Latest in Big Brother 25 Week 6:
On Sunday we watched the new Head of Household, Cameron, take a swing at the power trio of the house but missing the queen and instead going for her loyal subjects of Izzy and Felicia. Tonight’s Veto competition will set us up for the final Noms of the week.
This week’s PoV comp was the prize swap situation and as it turned out the winner of the comp wasn’t the one who walked away with the power. Instead there were a suite of punishments doled out to go along with some fairly nice prizes. Looks like Big Brother is going to really stretch out those punishments to give us the extra hour of runtime. Then again, we’ve had some pretty great Feeds this week so I’m hoping we’ll get the drama storylines more than the gas mask stink o’ meter fluff. I’m probably going to be disappointed, right?
As of now the HGs have already settled on their target for the week but with another day and a half to go it could always flip before Thursday night. Speaking of Thursday, Julie has promised us a big announcement that will affect the BB25 Jury. Expanded Jury perhaps? We’ll find out more tomorrow night, but for now let’s get ready for the Veto!
