Update: Due to sports delays, tonight’s episode will start at about 8:35PM ET. West coast broadcast will still be at 8PM PT.
Tonight on Big Brother 25 the Houseguests are back on CBS to continue their Endurance Head of Household comp featuring the return of the iconic Pressure Cooker challenge from BB6. Now on BB25 the comp features a few new twists to make it harder but amazingly these HGs endured! Once that plays out we’ll see the new Head of Household take over and set the nominations for Week 4.
Big Brother 25 Week 4 – Endurance HOH:
Over the years we’ve lamented the modern era of Big Brother HGs could never hold a candle to the long gone years of hard holdout endurance comps. Well guess what, based on the widely accepted runtime clock by RHAP this season lasted within as little as one minute from reaching BB6’s nearly 14-hour record. WOW!
This Pressure Cooker variant featured the HGs standing around a range facing each other (the OG had them facing out of the boxed space) and while there was little theming to the original this one had a Saw style set up in a dingy, dark room with lights out mixed with strobing lights and heavy metal. All the while HGs were facing increasingly colder temperatures, all designed to encourage them to drop out quickly. Instead three HGs made it to over thirteen hours of standing and waiting. Very impressive!
I’m curious to see what runtime the official production has for this one and we will hopefully see that tonight. I’m kinda hoping BB6 gets to hold its record just because of how long that’s stood so far.
Big Brother 25 Week 4 – Nominations:
Once the HOH is over we’ll get the key block reveal of who will be in the danger zone. This one was interesting because the new HOH is a bit of an outsider even though he may not realize it fully. Everyone was scrambling to stay on his good side and instead of seeing the real ringleaders hit the Block you’ll instead see some other outsiders heading to those chairs.
Things have progressed past that too with the Veto comp playing out on Saturday and the Veto meeting ahead on Monday to set the week’s final Noms. But we won’t get either of those in tonight’s episode and that’ll be saved for Wednesday night instead.
