Diary Room: Judd Daugherty Wraps Up Week 6 Of Big Brother 16

Where do I even begin with this! Wow this is when things get real in the Big Brother house. I have to start by saying that I was very upset that Amber was evicted last week, I was traveling and did not have the chance to write anything at the time. I also “heard” that Caleb was saying he will do Survivor or All Stars next….. BAHAHAHAHA it’s Caleb’s world and we just live in it y’all! I’m sure he is a nice guy and the game is just getting to his head. (That’s what I am going to tell myself).

Enough of Week 5 lets fast forward a bit to Week 6! So Nicole’s players lost and she remains HOH and it looks like Jocasta will clearly be safe, I mean Zach is basically the player to beat and way more athletic. Christine wins the veto and does not use it so I think Zach is a goner and I have to admit that as cocky of a guy Zach may be, he keeps the show entertaining and you never know what he may do next!

Some last minute scrambling seems to have taken place and Caleb of all people plants the seed that it would make sense to keep Zach for numbers sake. The detonators get together and compare notes and what do you know Zach survives the first eviction!! Jocasta is a great person and all but I never got the chance to see much game out of her and she didn’t seem very upset to be leaving so I guess it is what it is!

I have to admit this double eviction gave me a bit of de ja vu when Julie announced just because you are evicted does not necessarily mean that you are out of the game! We watch the HOH competition and all of my favorites are eliminated so I am rooting for Zach for the simple fact that he is so wildcard that he may do something crazy. Anyone I do not want to win always wins of course so Caleb wins HOH and all I can think is thank God it’s just the double eviction HOH and we won’t have to hear how much better he is than all of us peasants around the world.

When the commercial break is over I notice the outsiders (Hayden, Donny, Nicole) sitting in the living room while the rest of the house is making the line clear as day! But Christine and Derrick sit in there with them which is really smart of them. Didn’t last long because Derrick jetted but at least he stayed in there long enough to look like he’s not in too tight with the majority of the house. Caleb comes in and nominates Donny and Hayden in his normal cocky fashion.

After the commercial we see that playing in the HOH competition with Donny, Caleb, and Hayden is Victoria, Christine, and Zach. Like all double eviction veto competitions I was on the edge of my seat! It looked very close and I was rooting for Donny or Hayden to pull off the win and sure enough my boy Donny wins the POV!

It was very bittersweet for me because I knew that Nicole would just go right up in Donny’s place. Caleb nominated Nicole and the houseguests evicted Hayden! It sucked but at least he will have a chance to get back in the game and I am rooting for him to return 100%.

I was really hoping that the two HOH twist was over but it looks like it may still be in effect. I really hope that Nicole and Donny win this weeks HOHs and send Frankie or Caleb to jury. At the same time though I’m also thinking what would be best for Caleb. I would almost rather see weaker people go in case it’s a physical competition because that would make it easier on him.

This is when the game gets insane and all the fans (including myself) get super invested in their favorite players and dislike the ones that are against them. This is when Big Brother gets dog eat dog and I really hope that if Hayden is the one to return to the game that he can find a crack and work with people that need him as a number or he just slaughters all of the competitions.

Thank y’all for reading!

  1. Amazing, but ironic in a way, have awaken a sleeping Beast Cowboy this week … with Caleb stating the obvious, re: All About the Numbers .. and having the House flip to save Zach, which, indirectly have resulted in the exposure and/or implosion on pretty well all the Alliances in The House .. The BS, The Detonators, The Rationale, Frankie/Christine, Cody/Derrick and, unfortunately, Nicole/Hayden .. and, may have inadvertently brought to unlikley HG’s together, in Nicole and Zach, if everything plays out, as planned … Ha !!

    • Beast Mode is dumb as rocks, but sometimes the simpleton sees through the layers of bs and says the elementary things that the smart ones overlooked.

I am not a fan of the big BM Cowboy, but at the end of the day he saved the game from dullness. I can live with that!

  2. Judd, hi! I was just talking about you last night. :) I was telling my boyfriend (who’s experiencing Big Brother for the first time this year) how traumatic your 1st eviction was last year for me personally. That was my example to him of how crazy these shows can be.
I just KNEW, was so SURE that Nicole was gone. But, you know what they say, “Expect the Unexpected.”
