Big Brother 15 Live Feeds Features:

Big Brother Archives – This year the Flashback feature is called “Archives” and it’ll let you pick any day and time within this season. SuperPass allowed one season back as well since that’s what they had licensing rights to use, but it’ll be contained to only Big Brother 15 this time around. Not a big loss really, but if you must have past seasons’ content then the featured videos of old highlights will help.

Highlight Moments – Making the archives even easier this year is a new feature presenting highlight moments from the season. If there’s a big fight or especially sneaky betrayal then CBS can set up bookmarks that let you jump right to the action instead of having to try and set the flashback time to just the right minute.

Big Brother 15 chat roomsChat Rooms – CBS has set up “official” chat rooms, but users can create their own as well. This feature is set up and running right now so we’ve been able to test it out. You can join lots of different rooms at the same time and tab through the various conversations. You’ll also be able to block users while sending private messages to others. Right now you can set your own username in the chat rooms, but we’re not sure if those are exclusive or if two people can share the same name. Past years have allowed users to register a name for exclusive use, but we’re waiting to see if that’s possible this time around.

It’s also worth noting that the chat rooms can be used simultaneously with the Feeds and video features. That means you can watch the live action while chatting with other fans and friends and never miss a moment. The chat rooms are nicely integrated.

Mobile Devices – Yes, you can watch the Feeds and access different features on your mobile devices. What you can use is determined by your device and its OS (iOS, Android, etc.) so refer to CBS’s compatibility chart for that information. No, there is not an app to watch the Feeds this season. You just login to the CBS site like you’d do on your laptop or desktop computer. So far we’ve successfully test logging in and watching featured videos on an iPod Touch, Android phone, and Android tablet.

Limited-time Big Brother Early Bird sale pricing ends soon!

Cameras & Quad-View – The 4 camera views are back this season. You’ll be able to jump around from camera to camera but also be able to watch the quad-view to see everything at once. Of course my wish would be for a quad-view where we could turn off sounds from the various quadrants, but I imagine that’s asking a lot.

Houseguest Status – CBS will keep a status board running with all the houseguests listed out showing who is or has what during the week. You’ll be able to see who was nominated, who is HoH, who has the Veto, etc. But you’ll use our handy-dandy spoilers status board featuring the entire season’s status broken out week by week, right?

So that’s what we know so far about the Big Brother 15 Live Feeds. As we announced yesterday, the preseason content is now live so you can log in to your account right where you signed up and start using your Feeds subscription today. The actual Live Feeds in-house cameras won’t kick in until after the west coast broadcast of the BB15 premiere on June 26th, but in the meantime there’s plenty to keep you busy.

Don’t forget that once premiere day arrives the Early Bird discount price expires so sign up now and make sure you get the cheapest price of $8/month with the season pass.

  1. Hi! you guys blocked me on your facebook page, because I commented something, that I didn’t know was not okay to post :( sorry, can you guys unblock me? Reposting in this comments section, because I’m not sure you’ll get the FB one, since you blocked me

Love all of this! I’m so pumped for BB15! So you guys ARE going to do the daily recap thing, about the live feeds? That was my favourite part of this site last summer.

  2. Does anyone know if the live feed include the normal shows or is it just the extra stuff?

  3. Is it true the live feeds are not available to Canadian Residents since the switch to CBS?

    • That is correct, though I don’t think it is related to the switch. I believe it’s due to the arrival of BBCAN. The owners of Big Brother must not want the various regions accessing the Feeds for the other as they blocked BBCAN from US and now vice versa.

  4. I don’t know if other Canadians have heard this yet but Slice will be showing BBAD nightly!
