Celebrity Big Brother Live Feed Highlights: Monday Night – Round 5

Ross Mathews on Celebrity Big Brother

Eviction night brought more drama as Ross dodged the danger and Metta got his wish to be freed from the Big Brother house. It was soon a scramble to rebuild alliances and promises, but that would all take another turn with the next HoH competition.

Celebrity Big Brother Live Feed Highlights – Monday, February 19, 2018:

6:03 PM BBT – Feeds return. Marissa is trying to convince Brandi and Ari that they can still trust Ross even if it looks like he has a side deal going. Marissa mentions that Omarosa claimed Ari and Brandi told her (O) to nominate Ross and Marissa together. They counter that Omarosa said that was what she was doing. Ross comes in and promises Ari and Brandi that he’s true to the four of them.

6:08 PM BBT – Brandi and Ari agree they need to trust Ross in the moment.

6:09 PM BBT – Ross warns Mark that he (M) was close to going if Ross had used the Veto again since he would have been the renom.

6:10 PM BBT – Mark relays that to James. James wishes Ross hadn’t used the Veto at all then they could have saved him and got rid of Brandi while keeping a lighter threat like Metta.

6:15 PM BBT – Ross tells Brandi and Ari they should all come together as six and get rid of Omarosa. The ladies would prefer to see James go, but if Ross will promise the game goes back to 4-2 against Mark and James then they’ll go for Omarosa now.

6:17 PM BBT – Ari tells Brandi that James is a bigger threat and should go first over Omarosa. Brandi says they can just wait and see how this goes.

6:25 PM BBT – James tells Ross they need to go after Brandi and Ari since they’re a pair while Omarosa is alone. He goes to Marissa and tells her the same thing.

6:35 PM BBT – Ross mentions during one of Metta’s escape routines he got all the way to the street. (The stage where you see Julie is a small area and behind the audience are doors that immediately go out on to the lot. I’ve been several times. If he got to Julie’s stage it was just a short dash to the studio lots, but a long way to get off the lot. I imagine he didn’t get far.)

6:45 PM BBT – HGs are getting changed into athletic gear with wet packs for their mics.

7:15 PM BBT – Feeds cut for the HoH competition.

10:55 PM BBT – Feeds return. Mark won HoH. He talks with James about planning their week of enjoying the HoH room.

11:00 PM BBT – Ross tells Marissa he expects Mark to nominate Brandi and Ari, but says he’s pushing for Omarosa.

11:20 PM BBT – Marissa tells James that Omarosa told her it was Mark and James who wanted her to put Marissa on the Block.

11:35 PM BBT – Mark tells Omarosa he’d be happy to put up Brandi and he could put up Ari too since she renom’d him.

11:40 PM BBT – Ross promises Mark it’d be a clean sweep to evict Omarosa if he puts her up. Mark says he’s actually more interested in targeting Brandi since she’s a big threat in the game and to James (who apparently threw the HoH comp to Mark).

11:45 PM BBT – Marissa tries to push for Omarosa too. Mark says that as long as they keep their four together they’re good. He’d rather put up Brandi and Ari then use Omarosa for a renom.

11:50 PM BBT – Brandi tells Ross she’ll play nice with Omarosa for now since she might need her vote, but as soon as she doesn’t then Omarosa is gone.

12:05 AM BBT – Marissa and Omarosa note how cocky the guys are going to be now because of this win. They also mention not having seen the sun for weeks since they only get backyard access for a short time at time.

12:45 AM BBT – Brandi is annoyed that James let Mark win the HoH comp and says it looked coordinated like they had that plan. Mark says it wasn’t and James was just being nice to Mark so he could get a win and see family items. Ross thinks it was nice of James.

1:25 AM BBT – Time to see Mark’s HoH room. HGs line up to go take a look.

1:40 AM BBT – Ross mentions thinking it was really his day to get evicted and had prepared to go.

1:50 AM BBT – Ross tells Ari that he’s working on getting Omarosa nominated. Ari knows she and Brandi are the more likely nominees.

2:15 AM BBT – Vote counting with Ross, Marissa, and James. James wants to get Brandi out while Ross is pushing for Omarosa.

2:20 AM BBT – Brandi tells Ari and Omarosa that James threw the HoH comp to Mark so he could play again next round. They know Mark and James are working closely together.

2:30 AM BBT – HGs call it a night.

Mark is preparing his nominations for today and I’m expecting him to stick with the plan of putting up Brandi and Ari. If Omarosa gets on the Block then Ross and Marissa would have the votes to take her out and keep both of their F4 deals. Neither of which is likely to survive Friday night’s Double Eviction one way or the other.

  1. Rose is the brains behind the women’s alliance. Without him, the alliance would fall apart. He tends to keep them all centered and calm. Why doesn’t James and Mark see this? Rose is going to win. It was the production’s plan going in and I don’t see it changing this season. Some seasons production has decided to alter their plans during the progression of the game. This one is so fast paced, they are going to keep with their first plan.

      • Ross is going to win? I believe Grodner was mentioned as to who she would pick. I always think production has a favored player during regular season, but I don’t know about this one.

      • Your previous comment insinuated that last week I said another player besides Ross would win. Before you accuse, it would be good if you had the info to back it up next time.

      • Thanks for repeating the name. Catchy isn’t it, especially for someone who calls himself Captain Pervy. You do know what he means by pervy, don’t you? Lighten up, elMO, it’s funny! Tickle, tickle!

    • Ross fights way too hard to get Oma OTB (talking to HOH Mark & James). James/Mark have to see that, right? They’re playing Ross’ game if they let him & Marissa talk them into that. I hope not. Mainly because if they evict Oma, it’s the foursome against the duo – even if the duo think they’re a foursome (with Ross/Marissa). I want some back and forth, not a steamroller competition.

      • Perfectly said. And that is exactly what will happen if they don’t get one of the foursome out this go round. Then James needs to win HOH. But if he doesn’t, one of them will be gone next…unless there is another absolutely fantastic incredibly tantalizing twist like the last one.

  2. How did I miss this about Marissa? Several days ago Jokers reported that when all the HGs were sequestered in the HOH with a humidifier in the room, Marissa said “This is how they gassed all the Jews.”

So was she equating the near extinction of an entire group of people that were torn apart from their families, starved, and where many were killed and buried in a mass grave – to a bunch of whining rich people, who got paid a lot of money to volunteer to be part of a game?

People get fired from their jobs for saying things like that!

    Why is she still on?

This woman is more insensitive than Omarossa! Everyone should boycott Big Brother until an apology is made and Marissa is forced out of the house!!!

I am done with this show until this happens. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR!!!

    BIG BROTHER BE BETTER!!!

  3. Kinda disappointed with the cast with first Keisha and now Metta just laying in the dirt and leaving. This screws up the game so much and wastes viewers times. I will be surprised if CBS brings back celebrity BB if these celebs are just on for an extra 15 mins

      • I had heard of all of them except James and Mouthrissa, but the only ones I recognized and could have named by their pictures were, Morosea, AlcoHo, Keisha, Rose and Shannon. Chuck, Mark, and Ari’s pictures looked familiar, but I couldn’t have told you their names. I had heard of MWP, but had no idea what he looked liked…Still don’t, but I can tell you he wore a pair of tight black boxers to the veto twist reveal.

      • Yes he did and I really hoped he stayed longer. I thought he had the best shot of winning over everyone else.

      • Don’t comment about knowing or not knowing anyone’s names, because you fail on that with every post you make.

  4. “Brandi tells Ari and Omarosa that James threw the HoH comp to Mark . They know Mark and James are working closely together.” Was this a big secret that no one knew? They made a deal with Omarosa together so why are they so shocked now?

    • You’d think Brandy would be happy James didn’t win again.
She’s telling this to Oma??? James threw the last HOH to Oma. What is the point of Brandy blabbing this? I don’t see how it helps her?

      • Is she the most honest player in the house? “I like to thank Metta for going home” speech..lol

      • Yep. Cuz honestly – he IS the only reason she was staying!
Probably part of her “mindfulness” training…”conscious gratitude”. Ha!

  5. Marissa is one thick-skinned lady, I’ll give her that!

Last night Marissa was trying to talk to the camera but the camera kept turning away from her.

Did Marissa take the hint that nobody in the world or production wanted to hear what she had to say?

Of course not, she kept running to different rooms to continue talking to the camera.

  6. I just want to say this is not fair. They cannot say they had the real feel of the big brother house at all. Several reasons, one is why are they able to drink wine etc? I know why that’s the only way some of them would even agree to be on the show, right Brandi? Then the veto comps are so easy nothing like real ones had to go through. Also they had all the good food they wanted so their bodies didn’t suffer at all. Then you are looking at 3 weeks! I cannot believe that whats his face cried to go home after the first couple of days! Why bother what a cry baby wanting to go home, I am shocked! Get some real people who won’t cry to go home. There was quite a few cry babies to go home. They knew they were not going to win anyway so they just gave up. Big JOKE the whole thing, the stars are not going anywhere so they want to take over the reality shows to get back on TV. I say leave it to the pro’s or get some stars who don’t cry when they find out they have to stay over.
