We’ve reached the halfway mark of the Reindeer Games series for Big Brother now with three episodes down and three left to go. Meanwhile, we’ve still got six players left in the mix as we head to the finale on Thursday with the big faceoff awaiting. Here’s how the rest of this Big Brother spin-off series should play out.
We’ve still got Britney Haynes, Frankie Grande, Josh Martinez, Nicole Franzel, Taylor Hale, Xavier Prather. That means we’ve watched as Cameron Hardin, Cody Calafiore, and Danielle Reyes have all departed over the first three Reindeer shows.
This week’s schedule has episodes on Monday (9/8c), Tuesday (9/8c), and the big finale on Thursday (8/7c). So far they are all set to be one-hour shows unlike last week’s extended episodes, but we’ll see if there are any changes as we go.
Monday and Tuesday episodes should each knock out one more player leaving us with four HGs heading into Thursday’s big event. You’ll remember Santa explained there would be a four player showdown with the winner there taking home the $100,000 prize. Pretty nice!
My head is still spinning from Britney’s decision to target Danielle instead of Josh last show. That was a real misstep from how I see it, but we have a better vantage point from the edits and being outside looking in. I would have much rather eliminated Josh or Taylor from a competitive standpoint, but I think many of us hold Britney up for her fun takes on the game, not necessarily her strategic approach.
It’ll be a tough run to the end for Britney and Nicole against these other strong competitors, but something that we’ve discovered on Reindeer Games is that unlike the last many seasons of Big Brother, the underdog does have a legitimate chance at competing on a level playing field thanks to how these challenges are designed. Please keep that idea going next summer for Big Brother 26!
