Big Brother News: BB23’s Christian Birkenberger Releases Single, Music Video

Big Brother 23 houseguest Christian Birkenberger has spent his time since competing on the CBS reality show modeling and working on his music, and now has officially released his first single “For You.”

Christian has also released a music video for the single. You can check that out below.

“I wrote the first line to the song exactly a year ago today when I was ‘Broken, messed up,'” Christian wrote on his Instagram. “With the intention of distracting myself and moving on from my ex, I began writing lyrics and melody’s whenever I felt down. Thankfully, I found a healthy coping mechanism in writing music and a year later I can honestly say that I am incredible happy with where I am today and the experiences that brought me here. I’m grateful for my friends, family & management team for supporting my dreams and turning my lows into highs. This project never intended on becoming what it is today but through hard work it shows that blessings come in all shape & sizes. I’ve learned that it’s on you to discover the light at the end of the tunnel, it’s on you to recognize the opportunity in your defeats & it’s on you to grow from your past. I hope my song inspires & assists everyone in some way, especially those going through similar situations. This one is “For You’.”

Whether or not the ex he is talking about is fellow Big Brother 23 houseguest Alyssa Lopez, we aren’t sure of, but based on her comment on one of his Instagram posts, we think so. “I’ve never been a more proud ex,” she wrote. Christian replied with “Ex of the year goes to [Alyssa].”

The response to the song has been very positive. Big Brother fans on Twitter and Instagram, as well as BB alumni have been very supportive of the release. You can check it out below. Let us know what you think of Christian’s first single “For You.”
