Big Brother Mobile Android App Update

We’ve finally received an official response from CBS on their Android App for Big Brother Mobile. CBS’ decision to block downloads of the app in Canada was in fact intentional and they have no plans as of now to make an option available for Canadian Android users looking for mobile live feeds. Canadians wanting mobile access can still use their iOS 4 devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) without issue. We’d guess the issue here is the same as why CBS blocks Canada access to their website videos.

If you’ve already paid for your Mobile Live Feed access add-on, live in Canada, and had only planned to use your Android device for mobile access then we’d recommend you get in touch with Real’s customer service and send your thoughts to CBS on Twitter.

Now for some good Android news for all users in any country. We’ve just released an update to our Big Brother Network Android App to include a new stack of features. Now you can get HG status updates, check our Facebook messages, and flip through our photo gallery in addition to news updates, Twitter updates, and our archive of spoilers.

Important note: If you’ve already installed our BBN Android App and are updating to the latest version, then you may need to restart your phone after installation. There have been reports of the Updates page coming up empty, but is fixed after a restart.

On top of all of that, we’re keeping our Android App completely, 100% free with no ads.

What are you waiting for? Download our app now for free in the Android Market!

    • I’m guessing they don’t want to expend resources (money, bandwidth, etc.) to support regions who don’t directly view their shows.

  1. I have an android and I cannot find this app in my market. I would really like to watch big brother on my phone on the days I cannot on tv.
