Come on, eight week streak, come on! The long running string of Veto powers on Big Brother 26 stood on the edge of reaching its eighth week in a row, but did it happen? When the Veto winner was revealed on Saturday the HGs cheered at the idea it was not going to be used and yet here we are. I’m at a loss, but hey, it’s not my $750K at risk so have at it, ya knucklehead HGs.
Yes, Makensy was presented with the option to keep Chelsie’s Noms just as they are or to get busy doing Angela’s bidding and save her with the Veto so Chelsie could renom someone over a fabricated alliance that doesn’t exist. Well someone would never be that crazy, right? Oh yes they would. They would for the THIRD time this season. Have mercy.
Power of Veto Ceremony Spoilers – Week 8
- Makensy used the Veto on Angela
- Chelsie named Quinn as the renom
- Quinn & Kimo are this week’s final noms
Makensy finally settled on her plan on Monday morning as the sun was ready to come up and she had the full support of Chelsie to make this move and save Angela. Chelsie was then presented with the option of either a Leah or Quinn renom to sit opposite Kimo. Well, until she talked with Quinn just before the meeting.
Chelsie divulged that Leah had been up there until 5AM throwing Quinn under the bus to her and Makensy. Quinn pledged his loyalty to Chelsie and said he’d prioritize her and the five over Leah. He also pitched renom’ing Rubina instead or better yet, just don’t use the Veto. Oh the novelty of the idea. Well it didn’t work, obviously.
So now we’ve got Quinn in the hot seat and with the few available votes this week I won’t be surprised to see Quinn go, but this house is messy and shifts quickly so Monday afternoon is still pretty early to nail that down. Let’s keep watching!
