Big Brother 26: Veto Ceremony Plans for Week 8

Makensy and Chelsie talking in the HOH – CBS

It is Veto Ceremony Day inside the Big Brother 26 house! This week was supposed to be a smooth week with Chelsie at the helm, but it seems like things might be taking a turn toward some rough waters for one Big Brother houseguest. Chelsie has gone back and forth between Angela and Kimo as a target this week, but after some information made its way to our HOH for Week 8 of BB26, she seems to be considering someone else entirely.

With Chelsie’s closest ally winning the Veto Competition on Saturday, it was expected that Makensy wouldn’t use the Veto and noms would stay the same. At that point in the week, Angela was the target this week and was likely to become the first Juror for Big Brother 26. However, Angela was up creeping around the house on Saturday night and caught Quinn, Leah, Makensy, T’Kor, Rubina, and Kimo all hanging out late at night. Sunday morning, Angela ran to Chelsie with this information and told her she was concerned about a new alliance forming.

Makensy confirmed to Chelsie that she was up late with the group and then proposed to Chelsie that they use the Veto on Kimo this week to build trust with him. This way they could still evict Angela and not worry about whether they had the votes to get her out this week. Chelsie then tells Makensy that Angela came to her and proposed an alliance with them, Leah, and Cam. However, Chelsie is worried about the Leah and Quinn duo and proposes to Makensy that they use the Veto on Angela instead and put Leah up. Says she doesn’t care which one of them is the first to Jury.

Throughout the day, there were more conversations and these conversations started to make Chelsie consider that Quinn might be the bigger target between him and Leah. Chelsie became concerned when she talked to Cam and he was pushing for Leah instead of Quinn and Makensy told Chelsie that she doesn’t think that Cam would actually vote Leah out. After going over the votes, they decided that with T’Kor, Makensy, and Rubina, they would have enough votes for Chelsie to break the tie and send Leah out.

Late on Sunday night, Chelsie tells Kimo that even though she doesn’t want to see Quinn go this week, Makensy is worried about Quinn and Leah. She tells Kimo that Makensy is planning to use the Veto on Angela this week and that Quinn will be her renom. Chelsie told him with Quinn on the block, Kimo should be safe. She also filled Kimo in on Quinn attempting to for a F7 that excluded Kimo, Angela, and Rubina.

Early Monday morning, Makensy and Chelsie were still debating on whether Quinn or Leah would go up as a renom this week. Either way, it’s safe to say that the Veto will be used for the 8th week in a row and the likelihood that Angela is saved a third time with it is high. The renom will either be Quinn or Leah but it seems like Chelsie might be leaning toward Quinn.

Do you think that Chelsie breaking up the duo while keeping the trio safe is what’s right for her game? Stay tuned to find out what happens at the Veto Ceremony for Week 8 of Big Brother 26!
