It is Nomination Day and the Big Brother 26 houseguests have been scrambling to figure out who the first nominees of the season will be. We know who the Head of Household is for Week 1 of Big Brother 26 and have an idea of who they plan to put on the block. Read on to find out which Big Brother houseguest might be in trouble this week!
The live feeds started Thursday night and with that came a plethora of information from the Big Brother HGs. We found out that the first HOH of the season is Angela, she is trying to form a rather large alliance, and she already has a target in mind for this week.
This alliance Angela is trying to form will have the majority of the HGs in it. She thinks this will be the best way for her and the group to control things for the first few weeks. We know from past seasons that these alliances, this early in the game, never really work out. The HGs are still getting to know each other and they are so excited about being in the house that they tend to talk too much. Not to mention, some are going to likely follow the power so if someone from outside the alliance wins next week, they might jump ship and try to form something with them to keep themselves safe.
Another thing we know is how the nominations this season have changed. Cedric mentioned Thursday night that there will not be two nominees each week, there will be four. Therefore, even in a large alliance, there is a good chance that you won’t be able to control anything if four of your alliance members are sitting on the block together.
With all that being said, it doesn’t seem like Angela and her nine-person alliance seem all that worried as of yet. We will see how that works itself out later. For now, Angela has named her target and some likely blockmates for them. The three names that were mentioned on the live feeds Thursday night were Lisa, Kimo, and Kenney.
As far as the fourth nominee is concerned, there are a few options. First, Makensy is an option because she isn’t in the nine-person alliance and wasn’t promised any kind of safety from Angela. Another option would be Tucker since no one seems to know where he stands and he is refusing to join any kind of alliance because he feels it’s too early in the game for that. Finally, there is Matt. He claimed to a few of the HGs yesterday that Angela told him he was safe this week. However, based on Angela’s paranoia around him spending hours in the storage room last night talking to various HGs, he could find himself in some hot water.
As of now, Angela’s target seems to be Kenney. She told Brooklyn Thursday night that she feels that Kenney would come after her if given the chance and she feels that he is the consensus of the house this week.
I also want to add that it has been mentioned a couple of times on the live feeds that there will be two opportunities for the noms to take themselves down.
We should know for sure who the Nominations for Week 1 are a little later today so make sure you check back for confirmation!
