Makensy Manbeck is a strong competitor on Big Brother 26 with multiple comp wins and even the latest HOH. However, Makensy is also absolutely terrible at strategy and executing moves through the game this season. Here’s her chance to do it again.
Since Sunday afternoon Makensy has shifted from her goal this week from keeping Noms the same and sending out her sworn enemy, Angela. That’s been a long stewing dream of Makensy and she held it in her grasps until Chelsie redirected her to a new shiny object. Something more in line with Chelsie’s own goal: evicting Leah.
So here we go. Leah will be up on the Block later today and like any good student of Jury Management it’s safe to say Makensy has talked with Leah, explained what’s happening, and prepared her for what’s going to happen on Monday… wait, what?
Yes, that’s right. Makensy is setting herself up to completely blindside Leah with a little shock ‘n awe at the upcoming Veto Meeting. And unlike the idea of targeting Leah, this one actually is Makensy’s own brainchild!
Makensy keeps mentioning that this is going to be a blindside for Leah and several Houseguests have encouraged Makensy that she could tell Leah beforehand. But no thanks, says Makensy. Cam guided Makensy to talk with Leah. Nah, not gonna. Kimo recommended she discuss it with Leah. Nopes, not for me. And wait, Kimo even questioned Makensy on the idea of saving him with the Veto and if that was really best for her game, but yet she’s determined.
EVERYONE knows this is going to happen. Even Angela knows that Leah is going up, though I think Angela expects the Veto be used on her because that’s tradition in Big Brother 26, right? Literally every single Houseguest knows except for Leah and it’s going to be a shocker alone to the new target.
Makensy and Leah sat together until late in the night all cuddled up in the HOH room and chatting away. Plenty of opportunities for Makensy to soften the blow, but again it was a decline to take advantage of that chance.
Look, I get it that this would be a difficult conversation, but a total blindside from someone who likely was/could be a potential Jury vote for you? That’s just a wild move. But at least we all get to enjoy it from this side of the Feeds!
