The Big Brother 26 houseguests had their second veto meeting of the season today, and with the veto being used once again, a new nominee was put on the block. And even though the nominee volunteered to go up as a pawn, he’s starting to have some doubts about his decision. But the other houseguests have both of their main targets on the block next to him, so there’s some extra reassurance he will be fine come Thursday night and he does not win the AI Arena comp. Read on to find out all the details from Monday before and after the veto meeting.

Big Brother 26 Live Feed Highlights – Monday, July 29, 2024:
9:05 AM BBT – Time for the houseguests to wake up.
9:32 AM BBT – Tucker tells Chelsie that he is OK with going up as the replacement nominee but was wondering if Makensy should go up to get rid of her power and then he could be the replacement nominee. Chelsie lets him know that America names the replacement so that wouldn’t work. She adds that she’s worried doing that will also make Makensy and Leah come after her.
9:35 AM BBT – Chelsie and Tucker aren’t sure they can trust Makensy and Leah. They think they’re working with Lisa. Chelsie says she’s been trying to get that out of them all week.
9:50 AM BBT – After Tucker leaves the room, Chelsie runs scenarios. She says if Tucker goes up and Lisa uses her power (that she doesn’t have), Angela goes home. If Lisa doesn’t use her power, Lisa goes home. If Makensy goes up and uses her power, America names the replacement so she gets no blood on her hands.
10:00 AM BBT – Brooklyn tells Chelsie that putting up Makensy isn’t a good idea.
11:15 AM BBT – Feeds cut for the Power of Veto meeting.
12:39 PM BBT – Feeds are back. Kenney used the veto on himself and Chelsie put Tucker up as the pawn.
12:55 PM BBT – Chelsie is surprised Lisa has been nice to her even though she put her on the block.
12:57 PM BBT – Joseph tells Chelsie this week has been calm compared to last week. He says Angela has been so chill and if she stays that way she should be fine (for them to keep her over Lisa).
1:20 PM BBT – Brooklyn and Joseph talk about who the actual target is this week. They say it keeps flipping back and forth between Angela and Lisa. They promise each other they aren’t planning on targeting each other.
2:32 PM BBT – Leah tells Chelsie that Lisa told her everyone is accusing her (Lisa) of having the power. Chelsie and Leah say because she does have it. Leah says Lisa keeps speculating it’s people who competed on the other night as Lisa.
2:33 PM BBT – Leah says that Cam told her he had a dream about her last night.
3:11 PM BBT – Makensy tells T’Kor that Tucker is freaking out a little bit but she assures him that everyone has his back. T’Kor agrees that Tucker has nothing to worry about going home this week but it never feels good to be on the block.
3:12 PM BBT – Makesny says this week and next will be easy because the person who doesn’t go this week can go next week (Angela or Lisa). She says the only bad thing is having to come up with two other people to nominate next to the target.
3:13 PM BBT – Makensy says she hopes another girl wins HOH. She says she really thinks a girl can win this season so she hopes they can all work together. T’Kor just kind of nods and agrees and doesn’t seem too interested in that idea.
3:14 PM BBT – Makensy says she is under the impression that Lisa is going this week so winning the next HOH would be an easy task of getting Angela out. She says no one would have to worry because she would 100 percent go for Angela and everyone would expect her to.
3:17 PM BBT – Most houseguests are hanging out outside around the pool, chatting about life and non-game topics.
3:20 PM BBT – T’Kor tells Makensy that this is all really out of her comfort zone. Makensy says she’s a lot like her brother – reserved until he gets to know people. T’Kor says that is exactly who she is.
3:33 PM BBT – The entire house is outside now just hanging out and relaxing.
3:42 PM BBT – Joseph goes inside by himself and recites what seems to be his personal boot order: Lisa/Angela, Kenney, Makensy, Leah, Tucker, Cam, Kimo, T’Kor, Quinn, Brooklyn. He stops there.
3:45 PM BBT – Joseph says to himself he doesn’t think he’s seen as a threat yet.
This week is a pretty cut and dry one, if the houseguests don’t get too bored before Thursday night. With their two main targets, Lisa and Angela on the block, Tucker shouldn’t have anything to worry about. But as we know, houseguest get bored and change their minds a lot. And it would have to be tempting for the house to want the good-looking, athletic guy out two weeks in a row.
