Big Brother 26 Live Feeds Week 1: Friday Daytime Highlights

It was the first nomination day in the Big Brother 26 house and the first Head of Household was the one who ended up in tears following the ceremony. The first HOH is never an easy one, and this season’s first to win that key has learned that quickly. It sounds like she might even be rethinking her intended first target. Read on to find out who the target could be shifting to and how the nominees reacted to being truly blindsided by their nominations.

Big Brother 26 Live Feed Highlights – Friday, July 19, 2024:

9:34 AM BBT – Houseguests are waking up.

10:00 AM BBT – Everyone is still trying to wake up, grabbing breakfast and feeding the fish.

11:20 AM BBT – Kenny and Matt think nine is a good number for an alliance.

11:35 AM BBT – Chelsie and Joseph let Angela know that Makensy was comparing Angela to past winners and saying she is a serious threat. Angela says make Makensy needs to go up.

11:36 AM BBT – Matt tells Cedric that Angela should target someone who doesn’t seem to be playing the game because it would get less blood on her hands.

11:37 AM BBT – Cedric says that’s his concern but he has nothing to offer this week since his game was downgraded. Matt tells Cedric he should start talking some game so it doesn’t seem odd when he suddenly starts talking game next week when he no longer has that downgrade punishment.

11:38 AM BBT – Angela, Joseph and Chelsie discuss pawns. They say they need to make sure Kimo is with them so he doesn’t get upset as a pawn. Joseph says he doesn’t think Kimo should go up and that the nominees should be Kenny, Lisa and Makensy. Joseph says she could say Makensy is going up because of the budding showmance. Angela says that worries her that it would upset Matt. Joseph says Matt should just be happy he’s not going up.

11:41 AM BBT – While going over scenario, Angela says if she puts Makensy up, Matt could get picked for veto and play and win it and take her down. Joseph and Chelsie agree that would be bad. So talk goes back to putting up Kimo as a pawn. They agree if that happens and one of them wins veto, they take Kimo down and Makensy goes up.

11:42 AM BBT – Angela promises Chelsie that she will never target her or throw her under the bus. Angela says it’s good they found out now that Makesy doesn’t trust Angela. Chelsie said she felt it in her gut that Makesny was bad news.

11:44 AM BBT – Chelsie and Angela agree they need to try to get Leah out of that group with Makensy and Matt.

11:45 AM BBT – Chelsie says to the cam she is not going on the block! She then says everyone is playing dumb and she only likes Angela.

12:00 PM BBT – Chelsie tells T’Kor they should be safe next week as this week they aren’t mixed up in anything. T’Kor says she hopes Lisa wins HOH next week.

12:18 PM BBT – Matt says this season you get three opportunities to save yourself (HOH, VETO and a new completion they’re calling AI Arena).

12:34 PM BBT – Feeds cut for nomination ceremony.

2:27 PM BBT – Feeds return. Angela nominated Kenny, Kimo and Lisa. Angela is crying and telling Lisa that she doesn’t deserve it. She tells Lisa that she is definitely the pawn and Kenny is her target. Lisa says pawns go home.

2:36 PM BBT – Lisa says that she is genuinely blindsided by her nomination. Lisa tells Angela she has been working for her and now she’s a nominee. Angela starts crying again.

2:50 PM BBT – Makensy asks Lisa if she’s OK. Lisa says she thought she was good with Angela but now has no idea where she stands in the game.

2:54 PM BBT – Angela tells Cam that when she was talking to everyone, his name never came up.

2:58 PM BBT – Kenny tells Angela that he feels good being on the block with Lisa and Kimo. He thinks they will be easy to beat in the veto.

3:04 PM BBT – Leah, Makensy, Rubina and Chelsie talk about naming their all-girl alliance.

3:12 PM BBT – Angela tells Kenny she doesn’t want him to go and that she feels much better after talking to him. She says he needs to show himself like this more. She tells him she feels awful but he tells her not to worry, it’s all good.

3:14 PM BBT – Kenny leaves the HOH room and Angela says to herself that Matt is spinning a web and calls him a rat. She seems to regret making Kenny her target instead of Matt.

3:17 PM BBT – Kimo tells Chelsie and T’Kor he was shocked that he went up. He says he wishes he would have connected with people more. Chelsie tells him she doesn’t think anyone wants him to leave.

3:29 PM BBT – Most everyone is hanging out in the kitchen while the nominees are taking turns in the diary room.

3:30 PM BBT – Lisa and Kimo talk about how blindsided they were with the noms. Lisa says one of the people she trusted the most was Angela, so now she’s just really confused.

3:46 PM BBT – Angela is crying by herself and says “I am crying more than I have ever cried in my entire life.”

3:47 PM BBT – While watching the HOH TV Angela observes that Makensy and Leah are one entity.

3:48 PM BBT – Angela is also questioning whether or not Brooklyn is working with Makensy. She says Brooklyn might have made the same kind of deal with Makensy that she made with herself.

3:49 PM BBT – Quinn goes to the HOH room and Angela tells him that she has three new enemies. She says Lisa is really upset with her.

3:50 PM BBT – Angela asks Quinn if Kenny should still be the target. Quinn says Kenny is still a good idea but then talk turns to Matt.

3:51 PM BBT – Quinn tells Angela that a lot of people are focused on Cedric being all over the place, so he could see Cedric being the target over Angela. He tells her that he doesn’t think anyone will come after her next week.

So Angela might or might not be thinking Matt is a better option than Kenny for the Week 1 target. But there’s also been some talk of Makensy. She and Matt has been playing a lot real fast and they’re already being looked at as a pair. Meanwhile, Lisa and Kimo are utterly shocked by Angela putting them on the block. She’s told them both they’re not the target, but they both know the game well enough to know how risky it is to be a pawn. Regardless of the reason, Lisa and Kimo are both disappointed in Angela and agree they’ve changed their thoughts on her after this.
