What an impressive run of competition wins and success on Big Brother 26 for the season’s runner-up, Makensy Manbeck. Taking the Final HOH added a feather in her cap, but it wasn’t enough to overcome her biggest competitor of the season in Chelsie Baham. All the same, Makensy played an incredible game and walks away with $75,000 for her efforts. Not a bad summer!
We’ve got a collection of the post-finale interviews for you to see how Makensy handled the fallout from her decision to take Chelsie to the end over Cam and her thoughts on the season as a whole. Take a listen and read through her reaction to coming in second place on Big Brother this year.

Dalton Ross for EW has a written interview as well. Check out the excerpt below and read the full interview here:
EW: It’s interesting because we as viewers see so much more than you guys see, so we know more than you all, and so to us, when you make that decision of taking Chelsie, it seems crazy on one hand, where it might not seem crazy to you because don’t have the same information.
Makensy: Exactly.
EW: So I guess the question I have is: If you could do it again, knowing what you know now and knowing that the goal of the game is to win the game, would you still bring Chelsie to the end or not?
Makensy: I would really do it again, because I still had hope in myself. I didn’t think I was going to lose, or at least as bad as I did, 7 to 0. But I was confident in my own game. I was confident that I did play an amazing game. I survived a lot in that house and I proved myself every week. And if people on the jury didn’t see that and didn’t want to commend my game, then so be it. They can commend hers.
Congratulations again to Makensy on her fantastic season and a big reward at the end for all her work all season to stay ahead of the curve and keep herself in the game all the way to the very end of Big Brother!
