Big Brother 25: Week 1 Alliances Continue To Grow

It’s come to be an expected part of starting a Big Brother season. Grab all the HGs you can and jam them into an alliance. The more the merrier! And Big Brother 25 is no different. This season the HGs are off to the races and the snowballing alliances are here to greet us.

We’ve just wrapped up the third day of Live Feeds and there are two sides of the house forming which is great for us and the potential drama ahead this season.

Overnight the two groups came together to make things a little more official and even set a name. Not everyone is getting included so far though which leaves both parties the opportunity to pick up a few add-ons in the coming days and weeks.

Starting with the downstairs crew we’ve got Cirie leading the group along with Bowie, Felicia, Izzy, Mimi (Mecole), and Hisam. They’ve dubbed themselves “Bye Bye Bitches” from Janelle’s classic quote plastered on the wall of their room.

Cirie is of course keeping a keen eye to the workings of the house and believes the other side to have formed with Reilly, America, Matt, Cameron, and Blue. She’s close, but not quite. Swap out America and add Jag instead. Earlier Izzy thought they could get Blue on their side, but as of now she’s gone to the upstairs crew.

That upstairs crew, enjoying their cushy HOH digs, has named themselves The Handful with its five core members. Cirie was pretty spot on, but just a little off. Blue, Cameron, Jag, Matt, and Reilly are its central players. They want to add on three more members for a party of eight and then call that The Family Family Style (renamed).

Left behind in the middle we’ve got America, Cory, Jared (kinda, but not), Kirsten, Luke, and Red. No one is touching Kirsten with a ten-foot pole at this point and unless she nabs the Veto on Saturday she’ll likely be the first one out on Big Brother 25. Not an honor anyone wants. But that still leaves some good options for the sides to recruit.

Obviously Jared will be aligned with Cirie (and so far also grouped with Felicia), but there’s no need to play that too hard and push for him quickly. He’ll be able to go where needed and bring support back to his mom. That should be an interesting dynamic, but I’m going to need him to step up his game a little more and avoid overplaying and overtalking.

It’s still so early on that these groupings could fall apart or shift without much effort needed. With the house solidified against Kirsten and neither side bringing her into their fold this next eviction wouldn’t play on anyone’s numbers. We’ll have to watch and see which group expands next and with the strongest members.

Which alliance would you want to join on BB25? The Handful or the BBB’s?
