Big Brother 25 Twists: “Time Laser” Blasts The House Back

The new season of Big Brother is nearly upon us and here comes more of the preseason fun reveals. This one is pretty silly, but it looks like a lead-in twist for Big Brother 25 will be the return of past season haunts of some sort or another thanks to the Big Brother “Time Laser” (insert your own Dr. Evil air quotes here). And that twist has been delivered to the house by none other than Danielle Reyes, Britney Haynes, and Frankie Grande. Oh there’s a full skit to go along with this, of course.

Watch the video below featuring the trio of former HGs who “break into” the Big Brother house to right the wrongs they suffered in their own BB journeys. But something goes terribly wrong and suddenly the house changes in ways they didn’t expect. And of course “Meow Meow”, the laser’s maker, is a throwback to Britney’s former challenger, Enzo. Yep, like I said, it’s pretty silly, but I appreciate production trying to give us some fun with this one.

So what does this really mean for Big Brother 25? CBS isn’t giving solid details and I imagine that’s even in part so they can tailor all this to be whatever they need for the weeks ahead. But just from what we’ve seen in the clip it sounds like they’ll return aspects from past seasons to celebrate the 25th milestone for BB. Maybe that’ll lead to things like Food Comps, which were highlighted in the preseason special and haven’t been seen in years, old competitions (Pressure Cooker, anyone? also highlighted in the special), and maybe even former twists with the foresight of which ones worked and which were flops (I’m looking at you, apple tree thingie).
