Soon after Jared Fields was voted out of Big Brother 25, just minutes after his fellow HG Cameron Hardin had faced the same fate, both were brought together on stage to learn about the newest Big Brother twist, Big Brother Zombies as part Scary Week here in Week 8 of BB25. So what does this twist even mean?
Julie Chen Moonves delivered the news to Cameron and Jared as she explained that their “dead” games were about to become “undead” with the chance of revival by the end of the week.
Tonight kicks off Scary Week and nothing could be more horrifying to your former housemates than the two of you returning to the house as “Big Brother Zombies.” For the next week you will be living in the house and one of you will be resurrecting your game. And you’ll find out more about that later tonight when you do return to the house.
Jared can barely sit down as the news is delivered while it seems like Cameron already got the rundown earlier while he was backstage waiting for Jared’s arrival and the formal onscreen announcement.
So both will be going back in to spend the week but only one of them gets to stay. Both Jared and Cameron will be considered “Big Brother Zombies” until next Thursday when one stays on and the other heads back out the door still just shy of Jury.
Julie doesn’t give more than that at this point and we’ll be working on gathering the details from HGs and their talks inside the house. Sure enough, when the Feeds returned last night right around 10:30 PM BBT both Jared and Cameron were already back in the house wearing tattered clothes but missing any crude zombie “makeup” that I thought they might give them.
There’s been some chatter about tasks or work the two undead HGs might have to be doing this week, but few solid details. I’m really expecting there to have to be something for these Zombies to do during the week because we’re heading into an otherwise “dead” week as Julie explained before signing off for the night:
Get ready for the House to come undone as there will be no Head of Household, no Nominations, and no Veto competition. Scary Week will be a week like no other in the history of Big Brother.
No competitions, no events, no stress or worries? Well that doesn’t sound very exciting and they can’t possibly have us sitting for six more days with nothing, right? I guess they could, but let’s hope not! We’ll keep watching and waiting to see what we learn as Week 8 of Big Brother 25 kicks off.
