Big Brother 25 Spoilers: Bowie Jane Puts Another Shrimp On The Backdoor

Bowie Jane on Big Brother 25 - CBS

What a whirlwind few days it’s been inside the Big Brother 25 house with Bowie Jane taking over as the new Head of Household late Thursday night. We’ve watched the Houseguests scramble to get close to the once dismissed Australian who is now poised to make a big move. A move that just days ago she had outright declined but is suddenly giving serious consideration.

Back on Friday we saw a lot of talk by both Cory and Cameron to make the other Bowie’s target of the week, but Bowie continued to pass on the idea. She told several HGs that it wasn’t the right way to play things with Cameron and given all the talk he had given her it made sense.

Cameron had been telling Bowie for the past week that she was his #1 ally after the rest had shown themselves unreliable or dishonest to his plight. That seemingly put her in a space to want to keep the top competitor and for good reason. Cameron isn’t coming after her. He wants to drag her to the end. These are all good things for Bowie and very sound reasons for keeping the cowboy around. So what’s going on now?

On Saturday the Veto played out without Cameron involved when Zingbot returned as did OTEV. Jag emerged victorious and with that some new options opened up to Bowie Jane. Matt had already been working on Bowie to set the stage for this move and she told him she just needed the elusive “reasons” to change up and go for Cameron despite her previous aversion to the move. With enough convincing by Matt and others the gate was opened.

Flashback to 8:48 PM BBT 10/7 on Cams 1/2 (get the Free Trial) to find Bowie Jane meeting with Cirie and Felicia.

Bowie tells Felicia and Cirie, her current nominees, that the Backdoor is definitely happening. She’s detailing to them how she’s learned that Cameron doesn’t trust her and then how can she trust him not to flip on her. Not only that, but Cameron told her it might not be hot but it was! Oh, um, well okay now we’re stretching but Bowie mentions it.

The chat continues and it does seem like Bowie Jane is serious here. She explains to her nominees that this always had to be the approach because she was worried Cameron would get the Veto if he was an upfront Nom. Now that’s been averted and she’s ready to make the Backdoor move on Cameron.

The Veto Meeting is coming up on Monday and the decision will need to be made by Jag over who will be coming down from the Block: Cirie and Felicia. Cirie has already volunteered to stay and let Felicia take a break from packing, but yikes, I’d never make that offer. Sure, the house wants Cameron out but we’ve seen this situation over and over again this season alone. Either way, with Cameron on the Block it does seem like he’s game should be over as he’ll become the first Jury member of Big Brother 25.

What do you think of Bowie Jane’s decision to Backdoor Cameron? Should she keep him as a shield and take that proposed offer to be his #1 ally for a F2 or will he turn on her and this is her chance to take out the top target of the season?
