Big Brother 25 Episode 23 Recap: Fight Of The Living Dead

Cameron and Jared might have re-entered the Big Brother 25 house as the living dead, but the most exciting moment of this episode was a fight between Felicia, Cirie and Zombie Jared.

Sunday night’s super late episode picks up right after the double eviction where Cory and Matt held all the power and sent Jared packing (for a very short time). And then we get a really detailed recap of the double eviction for some reason. And by some reason I mean because there aren’t any regular competitions this week, so they have to fill the episode with something.

We do get to see all of the little conversions that happened during the fast commercial breaks. We know that Matt lied to Jared’s face and that Blue was being all weird with Jared. And we also know that it was clear to Cirie that Felicia and Bowie Jane had no interest in keeping Jared.

And after that really long double eviction recap, we see the houseguests get a from the Scary-verse. And Cirie grabs it to read. “BB zombies are coming after the double eviction. One will have their games resurrected,” it reads. And Cirie is the only one happy. And then the doorbell rings. Jared and Cameron walk in the door in tattered clothing (but no zombie makeup as I had hoped). And then another message pops up telling them this week there will be no HOH, no nominations, no veto … instead Jared and Cameron will live in the house as zombies and battle each other for a chance to get back in the game. The final battle will be live on Thursday where we’ll find out whether Cameron or Jared returns to the game.

Jared came back in the house guns blazing. He had many scores to settle, particularly with Blue and Felicia. He does some gaslighting Blue, but that’s nothing new. What is new is him coming for Felicia. He tells her that she really played him with that eviction vote. And she says he and Cirie both played her last week. Felicia wants to know why they can lie to her and plot to get her out but when she votes out Jared she’s suddenly the bad guy. Things then get pretty heated between the three of them. Jared leaves the room but Felicia and Cirie continue to go at it, talking over each other and almost getting in each other’s faces. At one point Cirie even jumps out from the bed. Felicia really lets them know how she feels, but in the end, there’s no real winner of that fight. Both sides had equal jabs and lies. But Felicia made the best point by asking why it was OK for them to go after her, but her voting Jared out was bad.

Now it’s time for Jared and Cameron to start their own fight, the one that will let one of them return to the game. Here’s how it will work. The two BB Zombies will play a game in rounds know as The Resurrection Rumble. The person who wins the rumble gets to decide if they want to compete in a solo competition live Thursday or if the other person does. If the person competing wins, they return to the game. If they lose, the other person returns.

The houseguests head to the back yard to get the competition started. The competition is the balance teeter game we’ve seen before. They have to dig up a bag of balls and then transport them from one end of the teeter to the other. Once they transport the balls, they have to balance the balls and the first person to balance all 30 balls wins. If the balls fall out, they have to start over. In the first round they’re tied. In the second round they both have a misstep and have to reset. After round 2, Cameron has 13 and Jared 9.

And it’s time for round 3. But we don’t get to see the whole round because they want to keep some suspense up for Thursday. And that’s the end of this episode. If you don’t want to wait until Thursday to find out who won the battle and what they decided, check out our zombie competition spoilers.

Also, remember there will be no Wednesday episode this week.
