Big Brother 24 Spoilers: Weekend Roundup – Week 8

Matt Turner on Big Brother 24

The Big Brother spoilers keep hitting on BB24 and the Houseguests didn’t let up this weekend with the latest round of competitions and gaming. We saw the split house twist end only to reveal another split house from within the former Leftovers alliance. The new HOH had to decide which way this week would go and the fallout it would bring.

Head of Household:
The Tiny Veto returned as the Tiny HOH for Week 8 and those nimble hands came in, um, handy for Turner as he secured the win as part of his return to the Big Brother house from Dyre Fest. With the power in his control and with the new After Party alliance it seemed obvious which way he could go.

Side note, what a foolish move for Turner to have won this. He was safely in the middle of the LOs split. Jasmine was the only HG who actively wanted him out and she just left. Kyle was targeting Michael & Brittany while M&B would have been targeting Kyle. So, what was Turner thinking on this one??

Nominations:
Turner quickly connected with Kyle and set his nom plans but then by the next morning Turner was expressing concerns about the After Party alliance and the crazy idea of having half that team being Alyssa (no wins) and Terrance (no wins before getting a consolation prize HOH). Yeah, that doesn’t sound like a good idea. But what if they could make it the After Party + Monte…

Power of Veto Competition:
With his Noms on the Block, Turner’s target was a Backdoor potential just as long as he didn’t get to play. Oops. Okay, well as long as he doesn’t win it should still be okay. Oh, um, well double oops. Maybe this wasn’t a good idea after all, Turner.

Power of Veto Meeting:
The next Veto Ceremony is coming up on Monday afternoon and the winner has some choices. Take the easy road to save Brittany and we’ll probably see Monte go up, maybe Terrance? That’d be easier probably with Terrance since he just played with Turner on the Block but he did also save Turner. Hmm.

Orr, and I kinda like the gamble of this one, save Taylor because she’s Turner’s plan B target. Then settle for the renom going over Brittany? Or would Brittany go as punishment to Michael for mucking all of the AP’s plans for the week? Definitely a gamble. Dunno yet.
