Big Brother 23: Veto Ceremony Plans for Week 1

What a week it’s been in the Big Brother 23 house with Frenchie as the Head of Household. Alyssa and Kyland have been nominated for eviction and the Power of Veto Comp has been played, now all we have to do is wait and see what happens at Monday’s Veto Meeting. Read on to find out what the plan could be for this week’s Veto Meeting!

Throughout the day on Sunday, the Veto Meeting plans changed several times. By the end of the night, we still had no idea what to expect out of this week’s POV Meeting.

First, Frenchie wanted Derek X to use the POV on Kyland so that he could renominate and target Travis this week. Derek X then went to Kyland and told him that he was going to use the POV on him at this week’s Veto Meeting. This scenario also worked for Alyssa because she believes she has a better chance to stay if she is sitting next to Travis.

Then, Frenchie went to Travis and asked him to secretly try and get Derek X not to use the POV this week. When Travis went to Derek X with this, Derek X was just as confused as the rest of us watching this unfold. Travis explains to Derek X that Frenchie wanted him to do this and they both wondered which one of them Frenchie was trying to test.

Finally, we watched a conversation between Frenchie and Derek X that lasted for hours on the live feeds during the overnight hours on Sunday. Frenchie tried to convince Derek X to use the POV on Alyssa instead of Kyland, but Derek X feels obligated to use it on Kyland now because he has already promised to. Derek X mentions that he would also rather see another woman go up instead of Travis and they briefly talked about Hannah as a possibility. Frenchie played it off like it was something he would consider and told them that he didn’t promise Hannah anything this week.

Based on the talks inside the Big Brother house, Derek X is still planning to use the POV on Kyland because he doesn’t want to seem like he is unloyal to anyone. Frenchie did try to convince Derek X to use the POV on Alyssa instead, but I don’t think that Derek was persuaded.

What do you think Derek X should do with the POV at the Veto Meeting? Make sure you come back later for our Veto Meeting spoilers!
