Could this be our first real suspenseful eviction of Big Brother 23? With the house almost split on who they would rather leave between Sarah Beth and Christian, it’s possible. At the very least, we can expect the vote to not be unanimous. But let’s count the votes and see.
As soon as Britini used the Power of Veto on herself and Derek X named Christian as the replacement nominee, Christian and Alyssa have been working hard to gather the votes for Christian to stay. Derek F promised his vote to Christian. Britini let him know he would have her vote because as the only HOH to keep her off the block, why wouldn’t she? And Tiffany and Claire have been tight with him all season, so surely he has their votes, right? And we know for sure Alyssa will be voting to keep her showmance in the game. Azah and Hannah have told Christian they’re just not sure what they’re going to do.
But the issue is, most everyone is pooling the wool over Christian and Alyssa’s eyes. Derek F says he’s voting him out, but isn’t going to tell him otherwise. Azah plans to do the same as DF. Britini plans to vote him out as well, but doesn’t know when she should tell him. Claire wants to tell him today that she’s not keeping him. And then there’s Tiffany. She thinks that Christian should know he’s going home so that they don’t have to deal with Alyssa’s wrath over a blindside. She’s already losing her guy, so adding fuel to the fire isn’t necessary, Tiffany thinks. And that has caused a rift between two of her alliance members Azah and Derek F. They think Tiffany just wants everyone else to vote Christian out upfront, so she can safely give him a vote to stay to keep Alyssa close. Which isn’t a bad idea for her, but she doesn’t seem to know or care it’s pushing away her allies.
At any rate, the vote won’t be unanimous, but it’s not looking good for Christian. Of course there’s still a day left, and he and Alyssa have been working hard. And Sarah Beth hasn’t done a whole lot for her case, so it would be an easy vote to flip. But then again, Christian is a competition beast, and taking the shot at him while you can is very smart.

Votes to Evict Christian: Derek F, Azah, Britini, Claire, Tiffany, Hannah, Kyland
Votes to Evict Sarah Beth: Alyssa, Xavier

Scenario No. 3 (not likely)
Votes to Evict Christian: Azah, Claire, Tiffany, Hannah, Kyland
Votes to Evict Sarah Beth: Alyssa, Xavier, Derek F, Britini
Christian still goes 5-4
No matter who gets to give Christian their votes to try to buy some time with Alyssa won’t really matter. Unless five or more people decide they’re that concerned with her and he accidentally stays. But expect scenario No. 1 to happen.
