We normally do a counting the votes post on Tuesdays, but since there’s only one person voting in the Big Brother 21 house this week, that seemed silly. So since there’s only one vote to count, how will it fall?
If you haven’t caught up on the latest Big Brother spoilers, then stop reading now. As we will see on tonight’s episode, Jackson won the Final Power of Veto competition. And the “deal” was that he would use the veto on himself but keep Cliff when it comes time for Jackson to cast the sole vote to evict.
It didn’t take long for Jackson to let us and Holly know that he has no intentions of honoring that deal because of how Nicole and Cliff almost flipped last week to keep Tommy over Holly. Actually, that flub on Nicole and Cliff’s part gave Jackson the perfect excuse to break his word and send Cliff out the door.
Jackson is actually conflicted (or so he says) though, as he would much rather Cliff and Holly be at the end over Nicole. He and Holly even checked the Big Brother rulebook to see if they could get Nicole to forfeit her HOH and let basically let Cliff have her spot in the Final 3 (no kidding, they really did this).
Cliff has also started guilt-tripping Jackson by telling him the’s an older guy and will never get another shot at being on TV or anything like that. He also told Jackson he cashed in his 401K to come on Big Brother and won’t have a job waiting for him when he gets home. Jackson feels for Cliff, but he has promised Holly he won’t turn on her no matter how much Cliff guilts him.
There is one more plan that Cliff is holding onto though. He wants to tell Jackson that if he sends him out this week and Nicole follows, those are two jury votes he won’t be getting and that might mean he does not have enough to get to the five votes to win Big Brother. Cliff says in that case Holly would win over Jackson. I don’t know, I think it’s a lost cause and Jackson was never going to keep Cliff over Holly. But who knows. Jackson has changed his mind on the fly before. I guess anything is possible.
So as of now, the one vote to evict will be against Cliff and in Holly’s favor. That will give us a Nicole, Jackson, Holly Final 3.
