The Big Brother 21 Final 3 took on Part 1 of the Final Head of Household competition and we got a list from last year’s Final 3 as well. Kaycee, Tyler and JC stopped by to weigh in on how this year’s finalists are looking as the season nears finale night.
Sunday night’s episode picks up right after Cliff’s eviction. Holly is happy she wasn’t evicted. Jackson is going on and on about confetti on his shoulders and Nicole doesn’t want to be known as that girl that went to the finale with a showmance.
Nicole tries to appeal to Holly that taking Jackson to the end might not be that great an idea. Holly says she’s thought about that. But come on, there’s no way Holly isn’t going to take Jackson. She shouldn’t, but she will.
And then we get some clips of the final 3, starting with Jackson. Sorry, just lived through this all summer and I don’t need to see it again. Nicole’s story is up next. And that’s a little more enjoyable than Jackson’s. Holly’s clip show is last and at this point I’m ready for a nap.
Let’s check in with last season’s final 3 to find out what they think about this season’s final 3. For some reason we are supposed to care what they think. Kaycee, Tyler and JC all really think that Cliff and Nicole should have evicted Holly over Tommy. Don’t we all? They also seem to want Nicole to win, but think Jackson or Holly are going to win.
And before we move on, let’s talk about JC’s hair. What was that? On second thought, let’s move on.
Now it’s time for a diary room crying montage. Because what would a season of Big Brother be without them exploiting the HG’s at their lowest moments.
It’s finally time to get to Part 1 of the Final Head of Household competition. For this part, the final 3 must cross a rope bridge, jump across rotating pillars and then complete a puzzle. That will open a treasure chest with gold coins. They then need to transfer the 25 coins, one at a time, back to their starting point. The first person to complete this wins the competition and goes straight to Part 3 on finale night.
Jackson takes an early lead in the competition with Holly not far behind. Jackson manages to hold onto his lead and easily takes Part 1 of the final HOH competition. He was supposed to throw Part 1 to Holly, but Jackson is more concerned about getting himself to the end than Holly.
So Nicole and Holly will face off in Part 2 at the start of Wednesday night’s finale. The winner of that faces Jackson in Part 3. If you haven’t caught up on your Big Brother spoilers, we’ve got the Part 2 results ready for you if you don’t want to wait until Wednesday to find out.
