‘Big Brother 19’ Final HoH Round 2 Expectations & Our Own Memory Lane

Spoilers: Round 2 is finally over! Find out who won the second part of the Final HoH comp.

Two of our Big Brother 19 Final 3 Houseguests will face off later tonight in the second round of the Final Head of Household Competition of the season. While we don’t know what they’ll face we can look back and see some of the recent season’s second round for any idea of where things may be going.

We’ve already seen how Paul ended up taking the first round after beating out Josh and Christmas in a magical journey of unicorns and glitter farts. (You’ll see on Wednesday.) That leaves the couple of losers, Christmas and Josh, to see who can redeem himself or herself in this next challenge. The winner here will face off with Paul live during the Big Brother 19 season finale next Wednesday on CBS at 8/7c.

Now let’s take a trip down memory lane of our own and we’ll start in Big Brother 15 and work our way to last year’s battle on BB18 and see what we might expect this season.

Big Brother 15: Final HoH Round 2

This season Andy faced off against Spencer in an underwater setting (not literally) where they had to grab Houseguests face placards, scale a huge wall, and arrange them in order of their eviction. That’s a simple concept, but it wasn’t an easy physical feat.

Spencer was overwhelmed and Andy crushed his time and his dreams of reaching the end of BB15 when he was evicted by Andy’s vote. Andy went on to win Big Brother 15.

Big Brother 16: Final HoH Round 2

That year Derrick went against Victoria. Enough said. The theme here was ancient Egypt and HGs were again in a climbing harness with lots of up and down a giant wall. The pair had to arrange the season’s nominees in correct order and identify the correct pairs as well.

Derrick completed the challenge in about 15 minutes while Victoria required over 30 mins. Derrick went on to win Big Brother 16 after Cody made the poor choice to bring his closest ally to the F2.

Big Brother 17: Final HoH Round 2

This time around Steve competed against Liz in the second round after Vanessa took the first round. Another year of the harness with an oversized crossword puzzle this time that required smarts to remember the answers to events in the season. I like that a little better than plain Jane “recite the correct order of this one thing.”

Steve beat Liz out by about three minutes and went on to win R3, cut Vanessa, and win the season.

Big Brother 18: Final HoH Round 2

Finally! The game changes up and the harness are gone as Nicole and James face off in the second round of BB18. This one was a serious physical challenge of endurance with so much running that you can safely assume there’s no way they’re reusing this concept for a girl on a crutch in a walking boot. Nicole and James had to traverse the backyard through carnival queues, set up the correct arrangement of HG placards, and then run back to snap a picture. It was pretty funny.

Nicole won this round after completing the task in about a third of James’s time (7m24s vs 19m06s). However Nicole lost R3 but Paul was stubborn, took her to the F2, and Nicole walked away the winner in a 5-4 decision over Paul. Just to think we wouldn’t be having this particular season if one of those five BB18 Jurors had voted for Paul and he got the win last year…

Four for four out in the most recent seasons the winner of the second round of Big Brother’s Final HoH competition went on to win the season. Now two of those winners were dragged to the end after losing the third round (Derrick and Nicole) while the other two won R3 and chose wisely for their F2 opponents (Andy and Steve). I don’t think there’s necessarily a connection there on winning R2 and winning the season, especially with the split between how that HG got to F2, but it’s just an interesting side note on the discussion.

All of these comps were held late at night so I would guess we’ll have the same setting. That also helps them keep consistent lighting in the segment because with these long run times and the reset required things could really change overhead with that.

Big Brother 19: Final HoH Round 2?

Well we haven’t seen it yet, but I’d like to hope the harness is done and gone. Then again if they’re looking to accommodate Christmas, which really they have to despite their claims that they wouldn’t adjust any comps, then maybe that is an approach they could use. The harness could keep Christmas from falling too fast and hurting her foot. I wouldn’t be shocked considering I don’t see how they’ll possibly decide to make her and Josh run back and forth when she just physically can’t keep up or possibly even complete it.

Whatever awaits the pair in R2 will remain a surprise for us until the finale episode. This won’t be shown on the Feeds but we will get to hear results immediately after the cams are back on the HGs. If Josh wins R2, and I’d put my money on him at this point, then we’ve got an interesting potential for Josh to win R3 and evict Paul. Meanwhile Paul is oblivious to this threat and told Feedsters that he wants Josh to win R2 to secure his own spot in F2. Yikes!

  3. I want it to be a physical comp, not too watered down cos of Xmas’ foot, they should have to work for the win. And of course I want Josh to win cos Xmas vs Paul in round 3 is too much of a yawn, she’d probably give it to him.

  4. Im seeing alot of peopl saying if its a josh/xmas f2 then xmas wins. Im not sure if these are just casual show watchers but if josh cuts paul i dont see any way he loses and it would be a landslide. Even if its paul/josh f2 paul will win but probably a close vote like 5-4 or 6-3

      • Oh no, how is he today?
        My dog once ate a good part of our neighbor’s turkey on Xmas eve (they had left it out on the deck to cool). Of course the results of that act occurred all over our living room, he was one sick boy

      • He’s better, TY hon. Had to give him some hydrogen peroxide to make him throw it up, but I was scared yesterday & kept a close watch on him for any symptoms that he was getting worse.

        OMG! Did he eat it before Thanksgiving?? Oh my…bet your neighbors were thrilled with you! ;)

      • They actually didn’t know which dog had done it although I’m sure they suspected ours. We just invited them over on Xmas Day to join us for our turkey dinner and they were happy. Of course the liquor we plied them with might have helped. 😈😈😈

      • Of course it did. Everything, even losing your turkey, is acceptable with enough booze! hehehe. OMG, I am still imagining your devious little pooch sneaking off with the turkey. Thank goodness he/she wasn’t caught red-pawed! haha

      • I’ve had one of those too. Apache. He was my baby before I had babies. ;) I’m sorry hon. I know how they can wriggle right into your heart. Love my dogs. Love them even more than BB! ;) They make me feel better when I’m yelling at the TV b/c of something one of these stupid HG did. hehe

      • IKR? when I would get really upset at something on tv, Flash would lift his head, jump on my lap and start licking my face. Would just make me laugh at being upset by tv.

      • Yep. Snoopy does that too. :) He’s 95 lbs, but thinks he’s a lap dog. When it’s been an especially bad episode, he just about smothers me, both with his weight & with kisses. haha

      • I had a dog that could scale 8ft fences….didn’t know this til after she’d rappelled up our fridge while we were gone and got a hold of a whole bag of chocolate covered raisins on top of it. She was fine afterwards, but boy..I can tell you it was frightening the whole time we stood watch over her.

      • Oh my, Joni…I can relate to how scary that is. Well, thank goodness Snoopy hasn’t mastered that trick. (yet?) :O With a running leap he used to be able to jump the six foot fence we had in the BY, so I had to add three feet of metal decorative bars on top to stop him from going into my neighbors yard! smh He’s a handful, but I love the big lug to death! :)

      • That dog was a nuisance and incessant barker too…she’d get loose all the time and go slumming in the neighborhood. After a few times of that, everyone knew who she belonged to..LOL After she ate my pregnant couch, I had to turn her in to the humane society to get adopted out to someone who could give her that one-on-one attention she craved that I just could not give her.

      • Much better so far than yesterday. My dog tried to poison himself by eating an entire box of chocolate donuts!!

      • He’s a boy, Alf, Snoopy is his name & yes, thank you, he’s doing better. I knew what to do b/c 2 years ago, my niece fed him her chocolate Easter bunny & the vet told me to give him 1 table spoon of hydrogen peroxide per 20lbs of his weight…He’s 95 lbs, so he got almost 5 tablespoons. Poor guy, made him sick, but chocolate is toxic to dogs. Rather he be sick than dead!

      • Good luck to Josh. Really would love to see the student take down the master. Christmas is tough, smart and might be a comp beast with another season…Once She realizes Paul is not her ex fiance.

      • Didn’t Jason say he was going to rape Kevin’s wife and tie up his (Kevin’s) girls to make them watch? Also, didn’t Josh tell Jason the truth about his eviction in the exit video?

      • The issue with Kevin will have to be dealt with another day. Kevin may be in the mob and may know a guy who might take care of things but not this day. This is a day friends reunite and forgive. It’s a beautiful, touching moment.

      • People really do not understand the physical forces that we are all subject to . Seemingly small things can have a great impact, like a tiny crack in a piece of glass that eventually spreads and breaks it all apart .
        People withhold their praise but are quite free with their criticisms and slights

  8. It’s CRAZY, but I think Christmas will win R2. Don’t know what is going on with Josh and these comps. I thought he was better than that. I doubt Paul will lose taking Josh too F2. As Alex stated, it’s just a game. Even Cody said he would vote for Paul. Alex will also, keeping her word of course. ALL these house guest knew Paul was behind everything. So lets see….Kevin, Raven, Matt, Mark, Elena will also. Humm…that leaves Jason voting for Josh, or not. And if Paul takes Christmas too F2, and she wins…I will never forget the look on Paul face. And this will be a RECORD, that will never be beat anytime SOON!

    • You can tell Raven and Matt are voting for Paul, too. That’s 4 slide votes and I’m pretty sure Kevin will, as I don’t see him booting for either Xmas or Josh. Five.

    • Who wins, of course, depends on the competition for F2, but if it’s a harness competition, I can see Christmas winning because, other than her foot, she’s just in far better physical condition than Josh is. Anything else, though, the odds are probably much more even.

    • Josh had comps thrown to him just like Christmas. There weren’t many comp players this season. Alex, Jason, Cody, and Jessica.

    • If Josh does cut Paul, will the gnome show up as a vet again next season?? After all, he IS a “BB celebrity.” LOL

      • Wouldn’t surprise me. Boston Rob from Survivor had to come back a third time. Another season where the winner was not challenged in any way.

      • He steamed through, he wrote a book too…,I liked Russell back to back but never won nor got jury votes

      • I couldn’t watch the full season when Rob won because I already knew it was rigged for his win.

      • There is no such thing as reality TV anymore and it is my opinion, but I truly believe it is factual. These shows are made to entertain us and Rob had fans so they wanted to give it to him to make the fans happy. The same with Paul and Nichole. Since Paul lost some fans and has gotten a lot of negative feedback from some viewers they can always change their minds, but I still think the show is set up for Paul to win.

  11. Granted, while I haven’t seen much of the season, I am a long time viewer and I don’t think it’s fair that Christmas was allowed to stay in the game. She should have been cut and told to come back next season. Period. End of discussion. I’m sure the players evicted through her votes, might just feel the same way.
    These final 3 comps are obviously the most important of all comps. The F2 comp has historically been an endurance/physical comp. If you’re not up to it—too bad, so sad. Them’s the breaks. Do. Not. Cut. Her. Any. Slack. That’s simply not fair. She broke her foot through horseplay–not through a comp. Don’t cut her any slack. JMHO.

  12. This season started with an irresistible temptation for $25,000. If taken Paul would come in the game.

    The chances that someone would take it were virtually 100%.

    This was followed by three weeks of safety based on America’s vote. America only knew one player … Paul. They had no time to get to know anyone else.

    Now we hear some of the players were associated with Paul.

    • Maybe Paul got America’s vote. I don’t remember this ever being mentioned on the first couple of broadcasts. Maybe I just missed it but I don’t remember hearing about it. Was it just something quietly put up on CBS website?

      • Ya, who knows i they count the votes or not. I’ve never heard anything about Big Brother but I know I’ve heard from staff on the Bachlor that they don’t count votes. The producers just choose whatever they want. So its probably the same on Big Brother.

    • A vet has to win, it is part of the rigged game. Cody should sue. Unless they make them aware of that fact before signing the contract and it is included, they can sue and the proof is in the past vet winners.

      • I don’t get it- so many ppl say all this is rigged- why then are you watching it? I am not saying they don’t sway things- drop ideas in DR and tv edit the sh*t out of it.. but rigged?

      • It is a fun show to watch, but there is nothing real about it, nor is it a game show. It is a soap Opera with a group of people and they get script to cause drama. I watch other soap operas, and the only difference with this one is the cast get evicted each week, but the producers already have it set up who they want to win and the order of evictions. It can be called just a theory, but I have leaned this from observation and watched many so called reality shows that usually end up the same. Once it turns into Jerry Springer, then the WB can pick it up.

      • Is there even any law saying Big Brother can’t rig, or even script this? How does this differ from Wrestling, or frankly boxing, it’d seem?

    • Part of the problem was that Paul came in as a hero last year wiping Paulie off the map. Paulie was the most obnoxious HG last year, and nobody noticed the way Paul got rid of him, they only noticed that Paulie was gone, thanks to Paul. So Paul came into season 19 already a hero who saved the world. And maybe, 19s HGs thought, he will save me, too! But the bottom line was, last season Paul was playing for Paul. He came in this season with the same intention. And nobody noticed that part.

  15. They may save this one for the final comp between Josh and Paul. Paul is shorter, skinnier and faster so he may win it. They do accommodate for Christmas and if she did know Paul before the game, josh may lose the second comp.

      • That’s another way that Paul (the vet) has had the upper hand all season… he knows the schedule, the likely comps, how to study, etc. (and the newbies don’t).

        Can you say LAME?!?!?!?!?!

  17. I really don’t care at this point. I would like to see Paul’s finely crafted plan fail, whether he go in third place, which would be funny, or SECOND place, which would be a bit frustrating for him, and we would have to listen to his prepared speech about WHY he’s so deserving….barf. No matter who wins, it will not retroactively make this a good season. The winner will either be an abuser, or a co-dependant, because that’s what is left…..in my opinion.

    • I would like to see Paul’s plan fail; not because it was a strategically bad plan, but because of the way he treated the other HGs. The personal attacks he incited on others, even when everyone knew who was leaving the house, were despicable. If there’s anything I would hope Paul would learn is that kind of treatment of others is unacceptable. Maybe him losing would teach him that.

      • I hope the girl with the broken foot that beat them in a foot race wins. Maybe the jury will follow the instructions for the race again and tell each other, remember Paul said to just trust him and throw it to her.

      • What I didn’t like about it is that he commanded others to do it instead of doing it himself. Everyone in the jury knows what he did and they all know that it was Paul who instructed Josh to start arguments with others, so this should be a great reason to not vote for him. He didn’t get his hands dirty, but it got dirty anyway.

  22. Like Cody said this isn’t just a game this is your life. Does lying and backstabbing get rewarded as good game play? Does this generation think that it’s just business or just politics, when these things occur? Does loyalty and friendship mean nothing? Would Alex say it’s just game if Jason did her the way Paul did? What about Raven? What if Matt had done her the way Paul did? What about Cody and Jess? Or Even Elena and Mark? We all know that it would not be acceptable from anyone else that we trusted. So why is it ok coming from Paul? This generation has a real problem with so-called celebrity worship.

      • You can’t just assume that though.
        And I don’t think Cody would’ve played a similar game. There’s no way! Cody is a straight shooter, he’s not a manipulator and he doesn’t throw the word friendship around without meaning it. Or the word loyalty!

      • I’m not sure IRL Cody is as nice a person as Derrick is, but I think they might have played similar games. Both in the law enforcement/military arena, both might have played a lot more seriously, without taking any cr*p from anyone. Derrick did not assume the role of dictator like Paul did, and I doubt Cody would have done that, either.

      • I meant that Cody would still be a nasty person. He hasn’t seemed any friendlier when they have been showing him in the jury house. Sorry, never been a Cody fan ad my feelings haven’t changed during the season. I did like the side of him when he talked about his daughter. Too bad he couldn’t have been like that more often.

      • I just think Cody is a private person. I am sure he is good to those around him and he is very normal to those around him. I don’t think Jessica would have any interest in Cody whatsoever if he was a dud! I understand Cody, I understand his dry humour. Of course to each their own :-)

    • To Paul, friendship means a bracelet – 8 of them, actually – with which he can control the recipients’ play and dispense with them at will. Friendship means “give me absolute loyalty so I can win the game and you can get all excited about going to the jury house!!! And remember who did this for you, and VOTE FOR ME!!!

  25. Big Brother. You know we all think this season was rigged ever since Paul came into the house and got three weeks of safety, right? Then everyone got real stupid and didn’t compare notes because Paul told them not to, really? So either something really dramatic happens, such as Christmas is playing Paul, or Josh get’s him out, or you’re going to have a real problem getting some of us to waste another summer watching. It all seems so fake up to this point. At least on Survivor no one is throwing comps. Maybe even Kevin could have won if he hadn’t thrown two comps. We don’t like rigged. Please no more vets. I was with Cody when he realized that Paul should have never been allowed to play. Totally unfair and rigged in his favor. And for him to turn out to be such a loser who probably has no real friends or life outside of his Momma’s house.

      Why was Christmas even cleared to play in that running comp!? She never would’ve been cleared by a doctor so obviously Paul convinced the producers to let her play because they were going to throw it to her.

      She either can or can not compete! It shouldn’t be what Paul decides but clearly it is! STUPID

      STUPID just like BB only giving Matt a penalty vote for ‘consistently’ breaking the rules! Previous hgs have been ejected for breaking the rules, why was Matt not ejected for breaking the rules!? Oh that’s right, because he’s playing for Paul and now he’s voting for Paul!! My bad 🤗

      I am disgusted with this season!

      Sidenote: they need to hire a psychologist who fully picks these HG’s brains! And doctors to fully go over everyone’s medical records! Raven should never have been allowed in that house! She is psychotic! Delusional! And Cray Cray! Raven was even able to con BB & they stupidly set up the no have not passed all season for her! She should’ve been ejected from the game for that, and she should’ve been ejected for conning CBS’s viewers! Why they allowed her to stay is beyond me!

      Such a disappointing season! The absolute worst! But I still can’t look away LOL

    Also, can BBN do the memory lane episodes for Big Brother instead of CBS and BB production in the future?

  27. For all those BB fans out there
    Who remembers BB11, their final competition had Jordan and Natalie throwing soccer balls up hill to these holes and they had to put the HOH and 2 nominees from that week. No major sience in “running” or hoping from one side to the other to gather balls and toss them up. Christmas did participate in that Veto with the lemons where Josh won where it involved running and walking up stairs. I have a feeling they could just bring one of these old comps back to accommodate Christmas and they’ve used it before so they’re “technically” not accommodating

  28. Have they had a face morph comp this season? It could be that kind of thing. At this point, they’re letting her do a lot of physical activity (except slamming/falling) and with the cast off she could do a water based comp. Maybe not a wall . . .

    • Maybe a face morph with a twist one extra element? Like have to put a quote the person said or a number (signifying a day that they did something this season), under the picture. The morph still has a bit of running but I think it would be pretty even. After all the thrown comps, I would like to see the season end with a good nail biting close comp.

      • Yep. That tends to happen when you gorge yourself on all that food your diseases prohibit you from eating.

      • Re watching season 2. They had to compete for food. The Women just lost a weigh in and have to live on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. So much more fun than watching Matt eat 498 bowls of cereal.

      • We used to do that – choose what foods would be given to the have nots. They didn’t do that this season.

      • This year the HN have slop. Found the recipe on the net.
        Ingredients (5)

        Big Brother Slop-
        3 1/2 cups steel cut oats.
        3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons unflavored whey protein isolate.
        1/2 cup unflavored soy protein.
        4 teaspoons vitamin and mineral powder.
        12 cups water.

        I like math and had the measurements cut down by 4. I went to Ottumwa, Radar’s home town yesterday and looked on net if they had a GNC to maybe try and buy the ingredients but could not find the GNC in the Quincy Plaza. POOF !!! it wasn’t anywhere by around 4-5 miles.

      • Hell I don’t know about you, but l could eat that all summer standing on my head no problem. Not what I would consider slop.

      • That really was fun. Baked beans and licorice. Cottage cheese and brownies. Apples and taco shells. So much yum! Made you want to be a have not!

      • The have nots only had peanut butter and jelly.
        One season, one of the final comps had 6-7 steps: 1-make toast; 2- clear off counter; 3- pick up 8 and count towels in bathroom, put in basket; 4- clear out balls of pool; 5- pull shades over HGs or evicted in order; 6- make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, eat it and say season #. THey had to check off completed task each time. One guy forgot to check it off and lost that point.
        3 HGs competing were upset that they’d had creamy PNButter all season and it was crunchy!!.

  33. So here’s my thoughts on Raven, her family & CBS! I am curious what yours are. Sorry this is long but I think worth the read!

    •••I do not understand how the BB doctor(s) cleared Raven to even play in this game! Did they NOT read Raven’s medical records? Do they not do psych evaluations? Raven should’ve never been cleared to be on BB! She is psychotic! Delusional! & CraCra!++
    Raven was even able to “Con BB” into believing she was on a “strict diet” HA & they stupidly set up the “No Have Not Pass all season” for her to win! Once BB realized she played (conned) them, she should’ve been ejected from the game! She lied on her contract & clearly falsified her medical records.
    However this is all me mute point!

    •••I have zero sympathy for Raven, Ravens mom, Ravens dad (or whatever he is) etc. Ravens mom has proven to be even more psychotic than Raven! (I know I didn’t think anyone could be more psychotic LOL)
    Raven’s “Mama” is attacking ‘haters’ taking pictures of ‘haters’ children & blasting them all over social media! Ravens mom is calling ‘haters’ employers plus plus plus! Why has CBS NOT stepped in to do anything whatsoever about any of this!?
    •Most of us do NOT like Raven! She is a terrible person and the same can be said about her “immediate family!” They have sued people & conned people for years and years and years! They are lazy & do NOT want to work! They expect things to be handed to them as they sit on their disability checks. Why would CBS give this family any MORE exposure?
    We all know there are “suckers/kindhearted people” out there that are going to feel sorry for Raven! Even if Raven isn’t sorry! AND because Raven has been on BB and will receive her “15 minutes of fame,” kind hearted people who do NOT watch Big Brother will be conned by Raven and her family using this Fame! Raven & her family are “professional con artist,”
    They are NOT good at it (clearly) but they are still “professional” (For lack of better words!) They are going to use Ravens exposure on BB as a money grab & they now have a huge platform to continue to con innocent people out of their hard earned cash, just like they have for years!
    How can CBS have allowed this to have continued for as long as it has!? I don’t understand it! This family will profit from this thanks to CBS for not putting a stop to it!

    ••That Said, Raven is clearly messed up in the head! Whether she is just a pathological liar, con artist or she is messed up because of “Mama Munchhausen,” something is wrong with her!
    CBS/Big Brother allowed this person to stay on National TV when they should’ve pulled her from the game & at least tried to get her help?! I have zero sympathy for Raven whatsoever! But, what happens when she gets out of the house and finds out how she has been a laughingstock for millions and millions of people for 3 months?! Will she continue her delusional ways? Will she continue trying to con people? Will she hire a publicist and gain sympathy for telling everyone she is a “Victim of Mommy Munchhausen?” Will this make her depressed? Will this make her suicidal? Honestly, I don’t care! I know that sounds mean, obviously I don’t want anything bad to happen to her (emotionally!) but if she remains delusional I hope she is slaughtered on social media!

    •••My question is why would CBS allow Raven to stay on BB? for entertainment purposes with all her lies? Why would they not pull her clearly seeing that she is delusional, psychotic, A pathological liar and needs some form of help!?     • IMO. Production likes Raven. She’s good for ratings because people talk about the looney on Twitter, Facebook, You Tube videos, at work. She’s gold and maybe the only person anyone is talking about outside the super fans such as ourselves. We love Josh and his dancing and crying but is He trending on Twitter? I imagine Raven has at times. Really enjoyed reading your article.

    • You’ve brought up several different issues, some of which have nothing to do with CBS or BB. If Raven’s parents (or anyone in her family, actually) are committing fraud, that is between the people directly involved, and CBS has no horse in that race. If Raven lied on her BB application and that is proven to be true, CBS can go after her for redress, and the rest of the world doesn’t have any reason to be told about that. Or CBS can write it off as a “bad investment.” The person or persons hurt by lies or actions on the part of Raven or her family are the ones who should go after them for their offenses, and whether they do or not is not really anyone’s business but theirs.

      • I enjoyed reading your column, though. Raven and her family clearly have some issues, at least some of which appear to be fabricated. The only way they will be taken to task, unfortunately though, is if the right legal authorities get involved. And Raven’s 15 minutes of fame might just do that. If, for example, there was Medicare fraud involved and someone from Medicare decided to pursue action on a case involving one of them, it’s possible the abuse of the system could be stopped. So maybe Raven and her big mouth were a good thing. Maybe someone with the authority to do something about her lies (or those of her family) will step up to the plate and do it.

    • How is she getting hater’s pictures, is it from their social media accounts? Why is she calling their employers, what is she telling them? Has tmz or anybody else reported this?

    • I agree with you 100%. CBS states all finalists have to submit to both physical and mental evaluations before they are actually cast. I just don’t know his she could have passed. It didn’t take the average viewing audience to see something was seriously wrong with her after the first week or two. The more we saw of Raven, the more we realized she had some deep rooted mental health issues. Instead of trying to win BB, she should have been committed to a psychiatric hospital for her own well being. Her mother is one of her primary problems. Away from her mother for the summer she actually put on weight and looked healthy. She ate foods she said she couldn’t eat and had no consequences eating them. This makes me believe that her mama was either making her sick or keeping her sick. Raven carried her delusions from the BB house right into the jury house. I think she’s going to be mortified once she gets out and sees what people actually thought of her and her little charade. Hopefully, once she is home she will get the proper psychiatric treatment that she needs. She has deep rooted problems that will take long term therapy by a qualified therapist to overcome them.

      • Yes I agree, I believe this is nothing more then Munchhausen syndrome by proxy. No doubt in my mind! Do I have sympathy for Raven? No! She’s a grown adult! She is capable of going on big brother and no one is telling her to lie lie lie! She doesn’t have a conscience!
        Raven looks 100 times better than when she entered the house. Clearly she makes herself sick so the doctors pay attention to her, she knows what she’s doing. She loves the attention! It’s gross! The sad thing is, she is so delusional that I really don’t think she’ll be affected by what everyone is saying, she will defend herself and say everything is true. I do hope she gets the help she needs as well as her family but I just don’t see that happening! They are going to use as much of ravens 15 minutes of fame that they can to scam people.

    • Production, CBS, BB, whatever you want to call the bosses. They all knew exactly what was going on with Raven. I’m sure they interviewed her, saw she was nuts and they all gave each other high 5s and said Perfect. It is a Soap Opera and they need drama and trouble makers.

  34. Who would rightfully complain about a poker tournament player bluffing, game playing? Is anyone there to find new friends? No. Appreciate strategy and good playing not namby-pamby “my feelings are hurt, I thought you were my friend” nonsense. Those crybabies about it being real life are the ones that have no idea how to play a game of strategy, especially BB, hence they leave the game early because they can’t keep up.

    • The casting was set up to get a bunch of pathetic losers who were having a miserable life and needed a best friend to feel better. I think Cody was miscast.

      • I’m not holding my breath. They’ll come around and realize Paul played the best game. And I’ll admit, I only want them to vote against Paul for the few minutes of laughs and the “Oh, wow, entire season’s work down the drain” factor of it all, but then I’ll eventually say “The best player didn’t win” and it’ll be ultimately be a negative. I’m somebody who didn’t like that production was willing to screw up Cody’s entire game just for a few seconds of a TV moment (when he tries to nominate Paul and he’s not allowed to) so I can’t be hypocritical now and wish for something similar to happen to Paul. Even though part of me would smile, and even though I unbiasedly think this would be a way better and longer-lasting moment than what happened to Cody, I still can’t consciously sit here and ask for it to happen.

        That being said, if it does happen, I’ll still make sure to enjoy those few minutes of laughter… before stupid bummer reality sets back in…

      • I love all animals and love to feed them they are so so cute !!! They grab the food with their little hands and eat up , I go outside to feed one of the cats and everything is wiped out , they eat it ALL !!! So got cat food for them and they love it . Very friendly, almost eating out of our hands but wanna keep them at a safe distance because not all humans are nice. That’s really cool !! I’m happy to see other people feeding the lil guys :)

      • They are not really my pets. I have an outdoor gym and they just come by for food. Their mom was killed and their home was destroyed do two more homes being built up here on the mountain so, they were hungry and alone and afraid.
        I don’t pet them or touch them at all. They are not your typical wild raccoon, they are very domesticated, clearly LOL they are actually really cute, fluffy, sweet, friendly little guys and girls. They act exactly like bear cubs.
        They do not live anywhere around us, I’m not exactly sure where they come from but every time they hear me working out at night they come and I feed them. I’ve seen a lot of ugly big strange looking dirty raccoons in my life either in person or on the Internet. Honestly these guys are super cute and fluffy and soft looking. Very dosile! My one cat that I allow outside has no problem with them and they have no problem with him. They keep their distance but they will walk by each other if they need to.
        But we give each other space
        Oh and here they are! I literally just took this picture LOL
        Sorry I didn’t mean to gross you out! I love them! I love all animals. “They don’t bite the hand that feeds them!” They respond to their names, I try and mimic the sounds they make and we have little conversations LOL I don’t know whatever, I like them.

      • I’m in Plano, Texas .. we have raccoons, opossums, coyotes and bobcats .. cause ALL of the humans taking over their land !!! I only feed the raccoons and the possum and have a stray cat that doesn’t bother the raccoons and they don’t bother him . 💞

      • It looks like your little girl and guy or guy & guy or girl & girl, (impossible to tell) are just as content as mine. I also have a mama with two little ones. They are itty bitty and they are currently staring at me…….feed us paaaaalleeessseee!
        I just did yeah pigs! We feed them dog food & has or we just feed them food that has gone bad like bread grapes and what not. They are picky though! Garbage pickers LOL they are spoiled clearly. They love banana chips as well! I will buy that in bulk occasionally as a treat.

      • Cat food !! Any kind ! They love that !!!! I think is mom and dad outside and the 2 lil ones come inside , the dad was getting so tame .. he jumped up in one of the cat beds I set up for the cats and was cleaning himself .. I was like oh nooooo. Chit . Didn’t want them to be too tame, but they know where to get a meal anytime.

      • The dad’s don’t usually stick around after the babies are born. At least not here LOL it’s always a mom and their babies. Interesting.
        Yeah I have the same problem, they lay around here and groom themselves or each other, sleep, play like little bear cubs etc. it’s cute but I do wish they hibernated in the winter so I can have a break LOL they are not cheap! I probably spend $100 a month on them for the dog food and treats.

      • We have all the above but not bobcats. Well at least not around here anyway. We get bears and cougars. Thankfully there have only been a few sightings of cougars. We live on a mountain and it’s been overrun with holes. It’s a beautiful area! But sadly the wildlife are losing their homes. That said there is still a lot of places for them to go.
        We have had bears walking down the street. Occasionally, minding their own business during the day!

      • Yup , same here .. coyotes were first and then come the bobcats . I’m sure I feed a lot of wildlife which I’m happy to do . :)

      • Are you able to tell if they are boys or girls?

        They ALL look the EXACT same so I never know which one is which. Are you able to tell?
        With mama and her 4 babies plus mama and her 2 babies, and then 2 other random older raccoons that occasionally came here, only one of them has a distinctive mark by her eye.

        They say the male raccoons are bigger so I would say Mama w/ her 2 babies – she has one of each & Mama with her 4 babies, 2 are girls and 2 are boys but I don’t know for sure.

        THE ONLY Raccoon that has ever been different was a raccoon that was coming around in June-ish. Our youngest daughter named him Gerald. We called him the “Albino Raccoon” because his fur was a LOT lighter and he came out during the day to eat!! Poor Gerald was a confused raccoon LOL

        Did you know raccoons only live 2-3 years in the wild but 15+ years in captivity? Isn’t that crazy??? My girl “Honey” (the 1 with 2 babies) has been coming here for about four years now. Her mom brought her here and her 3 siblings again 4 years ago (shortly after we purchased our home) and I would feed them here and there. Then one day it was her and her mom and only two siblings and then a few weeks later another sibling was gone! 😭 & then I did not see them for a week or so and Honey showed up one day scared & skinny and she was a baby so she was already a little but she was a lot smaller! She was starving to death!! Sadly it was obvious that her mommy and siblings were killed! She was always the smallest I believed she was the only girl so that was her saving grace. She always had in the back behind her mama and brothers so whatever a$$hole killed them, didn’t see her! So I nursed her back to health and now she’s been happy and healthy with many babies coming and going.
        If I am not paying attention to her and she’s hungry, if I am sitting in my office or working out she will walk over and lightly pinch my toe and she gives me high-fives.
        I have never tried to pet her because she is a wild animal. They are all super sweet! But so many people hate raccoons! My neighbour was shooting them with a pellet gun and I got pissed off! I was like dude, all you’re going to do is hurt them and make them aggressive! What’s the point. Stop or I will report you! I felt like shooting him with a pellet gun! That made me so angry.
        Anyway blah blah blah LOL I’ve never spoken to anyone who feeds raccoons like I do so, I’m just sharing my stories using talk to type and I need to just shut up LOL sorry LOL 😂 thanks for the pictures :-)
        It’s funny how your raccoons look different than mine! Yours I think look lighter and smaller and their snouts look a little longer. Maybe? The pictures were a little hard to see because they were sideways and whenever I would zoom in the stupid Page would reload.

  43. What if both of them max out the time, so both have to do the comp again, plus time for rebuilds . . . or maybe it’s just an exceptionally difficult rebuild.

    Or maybe one or another of the players broke something in frustration . . . like a head or another foot (I know, I shouldn’t joke about someone getting injured (again))

    Or maybe the back room people running the feeds are sleeping because . . . end of the season, after all.

    • I wondered this a few times, about a few different competitions. Generally how would (insert comp here) have been tie-broken, if it came to it. The week Matt and Cody both tried to throw the temptation competition, what if they both kept getting it wrong? (which nearly happened). How do you break that tie. It’s disappointing we haven’t seen any competition-based tiebreakers at all this season, but that goes with the territory when everybody is stupidly doing Paul’s bidding all the time.

Thanks. I know this is a spoiler site, but I would’ve thought and hoped that going to a thread where they don’t tell you (the authors of the articles) that you have spoilers, you might be safe. Disappointing. This isn’t the first time the headline and article content has been spoiler free and people in the comments chose to play spoiler anyway.

Here’s one for ‘memory lane’… weeks later, Christmas and Paul still talk about how they think Ramses “finishing in 2nd” was “sketchy”… he finished in 2nd because everybody else in the competition was a complete joke and had ridiculous times. Ramses’ time was in the 7-minute range, and Paul who won had 3-something. That’s close? That’s close enough that you’re pissed at Ramses for it? It was roughly double Paul’s time, and they still think he did a “terrible job” throwing it.

    Thought at the time they were pretending to be upset about it just to further justify evicting him. Turns out they actually feel this way. Which is absolutely effing ridiculous. These people aren’t very intelligent sometimes, which isn’t surprising of Christmas, but it is surprising of Paul, who usually proves to be pretty bright.

    • yeah I often thought about that as well. Super shady! When I heard Paul was having a temper tantrum about that, I thought Paul beat him by 7!seconds, not 7 minutes.
      Getting people to throw comps and people agreeing to throw comps is absurd & as a viewer/fan it was annoying to watch these HGs throw everything, where is the fun in that!? ! I cannot believe these circus clowns 🤡 (no offence Jason) listened to Paul as much as they did! It honestly was surreal.

      • I agree there was too much competition throwing and that took away a lot of the fun. The running one they threw to Christmas for example, seeing the photo finishes of past years when they did this comp, that was fun. This year nobody ran because everybody, in poorly acted fashion, let go of the triggers to false start. (Alex didn’t even try to fake it. Takes her hands off, puts them in the air, makes a stupid face and shrugs like an idiot. God I’m glad she’s gone). This wasn’t the only competition made less fun by throwing, but this was a prime example.

      • Yeah that’s a good example! That comp is always an entertaining one. Those people are bad actors. The only one that was somewhat believable with Kevin.

  60. Has nobody thought that the feeds were down for so long because costs are probably lower for CBS to not run them and they ultimately don’t care very much about live feed customers because as much as they might complain they still keep coming back every season anyway?

    • I hear what you’re saying however, why would you think it’s more expensive to run the live feeds? People pay for them plus advertisement….,
      Just curious is all 😉

      • I would just think operating costs to keep them running have gotta be higher than not running, and thus any excuse to have them not run, they would welcome it. Businesses rarely need much of an excuse to justify saving even a small amount of money. Matt Boyer thought this idea ‘practically makes no sense’ but didn’t end up explaining why or what he meant. I would be interested and welcoming of hearing why I’m wrong. It’s not like I run anything close to CBS so I don’t actually know.

      • Yeah I understand, we own our company and there are always corners we can cut to save money.
        It’s just like the airlines, I was reading one of them stopped putting lettuce or something like that in the burgers and just by doing that they saved millions a year! I get it, I just think the live feeds pretty much paid for themselves.
        Our Company is Internet marketing/SEO/digital marketing. The live feeds I believe pay for themselves and may make a little extra money but I don’t believe they are losing money. The only thing they are really paying for is bandwidth, granted it’s a lot but that’s the only expense. They just plug-and-play for lack of better words.
        Yeah I guess they would be saving money every time they turned off the feeds/not using bandwidth because then they’re not paying for bandwidth when they’re not streaming but customers are still paying for the service so yeah, then of course they’re making money.

      • Do not think it is money, the jury is on special jury time, you saw the edit for princess Alex , 😩 so realistic , they need time to do the same thing with the jury, they are going to show a dysfunctional loving family, even if they act more like the middle east 😸
