Big Brother 19: Counting The Votes In Week 2 [POLL]

Last week of Big Brother gave us a great blindside on Thursday night, but this week we’ve got a different game plan and no one should be surprised with what’s going to happen. Here’s a rundown on this week’s votes with ten decisions ready to be made.

Christmas counts off the votes on BB19

This week will be a little different as we’ll see three HGs sitting on the Big Brother 19 couch in the middle. Cody has replaced Josh so he will join Alex and Ramses for Thursday’s vote and Cody knows it’s the end of his game, for now at least.

Jessica should be the sole vote against Alex unless she decides to toss it at Ramses. Now as for Ramses we know now that Paul talked with Kevin about throwing a hinky vote to help create a bit of confusion and paranoia. Mostly thi Kevin has agreed to vote against Ramses which is likely going to give us a 8-1-1 final result.

The eight votes against Cody are set. I don’t see any chance of this getting screwed up. You’ll have Matthew, Raven, Mark, Elena, Christmas, Dominique, Josh, and Jason. So Jason seems scared to death of doing wrong and has mentioned already to Paul if they see any hinky votes he didn’t do it. I hope Jason brought a change of chaps for when Julie reveals the vote cause that guy is gonna panic.

That’ll be it. Cody should be out and off to where ever these evicted Big Brother HGs have been going. Then get ready cause we’ll probably see them all back on Friday, July 21st for what we expect will be a Battle Back event.

Aside from killing off the villain way too early, what do you think of the House decision here? Should anyone be rallying to keep Cody and get rid of either Alex or Ramses instead this week?

  1. I still think this hinky vote thing will blow up in Paul’s face. Now, Alex seems to be a girl who doesn’t go crying over anything or overly panicking, but, I don’t know if Kevin will be okay seeing her particularly upset if she buys the story that Jason voted for her. He likes her more than he does Ramses and knows that Jason is her friend. I don’t know if Kevin will just pull her aside and tell her and what the intention was (even though it would mean Kevin was the hinky vote, I think she might appreciate the game play) or if Kevin will approach Paul to maybe use this against Josh just because they have enough of a case built against Ramses right now that the only decision is him or Jessica this upcoming week and they need to start sowing the seeds for the following week. Honestly, it might work out better if Cody tries to convince Jessica to at least work vaguely with the people who still talked to him this week and that a vote against Ramses will not do anything bad to her and will also not make Alex any more upset with her.

    • Paul wants Kevin to vote out Ramses not Alex. And if Alex does get one vote she’ll know it was Jessica. Jessica may even vote for Ramses and Alex won’t get any.

      • I know, but he wants to create a stir about Jason with it, so Alex could start doubting her closest friend in the house and if she is quietly upset about it, I could see Kevin, who tells her most everything anyway, just pulling her aside.

    • I don’t think Cody cares enough to warn Jessica about her vote for the sole purpose of keeping a target off her back.

      • Probably not, but to keep a base there when he returns might be uesful. Alex might have accomplished her goal of acclimating into the group, she has already won over the showmances and getting on the good side of the Paul, Xmas, Dom side of things. If Jessica causes her issues, she might not be willing to join forces with him.

    • Yeah, that situation is getting kind of dicey, I mean really, there’s got to be rehab stuff involved and it seems like the whole thing would require way too much consideration for Christmas’ disability – like, this isn’t a job or livelihood.

      • Exactly. Xmas will be unable to physically participate in any competitions, probably for the duration of the season.

      • Not probably, definitely! Even if she makes it all the way to the end, sure she will get her cast off but she won’t be able to play in any physical competitions…… even if she was stupid enough to want to, the doctors wouldn’t allow it. Even though the cast will be off, she will need to rehab it for quite a while before doing anything to physical so that said, that means she won’t be doing anything/won’t be allowed to do anything until big brother is over. In my opinion anyway…

      • She’s not considering how she’ll feel after the surgery. She may say she’s a tough cookie, but she’s not had a surgery like this. Right now she’s just playing it by ear I guess.

      • My husband used to race professional motocross and I have seen the toughest guys break so many bones in their bodies! After her surgery she is going to be in brutal pain! And even if she’s tough, she’s going to be drugged up/ on painkillers so she’s going to be all over the place LOL it might be entertaining!
The only thing she has on her side is she was very fit before her injury therefore she should heal quicker than most but, she still going to feel pain! A lot of it! For a good few days at least. She isn’t going to be able to do much for the next week or so, if she comes back into the game. Who knows, she could come back in and realize she has no chance of winning, plus she could be in so much pain she might decide to go home and deal with it.
But, if she can suck it up then she’s just there as a vote and for some fun. She’s not going to win the game, that would be BS. She should go Home, get healthy and come back next year. But if she can suck it up, sure, stay in the big brother house and just have some fun and hope they let her come back next year. That’s all LOL

      • Sorry hon, I didn’t realize how long my reply was to you until I send it. My bad 🤗

    • Exactly. I’m wondering if she will be back or not. I cannot imagine she would be able to compete in competitions. I like Christmas and all, but I think it’s only fair they let her come back next season when she can actually play the game.

      • This week, the HoH comp will probably be questions, she can play that and could even win. Who knows.

      • That’s true, it just seems that it will be a major disability & hindrance for her to stay and try to compete. But she could at least make it to jury.

      • Mental comp on pain meds – one day after surgery. That’s a major ‘who knows’, captain.

      • Different people react differently of course to anesthesia and meds, but from my own experience and in care taking, it seems you think you know what you are doing and saying, but well, maybe not so much. Now, I know Christmas won’t come back so quickly and off her nut like all those youtube videos of people just out of dental surgery, but even so, aftereffects of anesthesia and then continuing pain meds gives a sense of euphoria which entirely messes with good sense (not to mention sleep and possibly extremely uncomfortable constipation!).

      • That has been my personal experience, Linda. I guess that’s why I think it may be a lot tougher than she realizes, or has the capacity to realize.

      • She’s going to be so high on pain meds. I don’t think she realizes how she’s going to feel after this major surgery. She really should be pulled from the game. I like her but this is enough. People have been injured and sat out a comp or two but nothing major like this. She’s been out of the house 3 times including tomorrow for surgery.

      • I guess we will find out on Thursday. You might be right and she doesn’t want to know.

      • It does make things interesting that’s for sure. I know one thing this season has been exciting.

      • Wasn’t Bridget unable to play in physical competitions when she was on crutches or is this different because Christmas is having surgery?

      • The only thing that bothers me with this whole situation with Christmas is, she’s not going to win the game. That would be stupid! She’s been in and out of the house, she’s not able to play competitively so her chances of winning even if she makes it to the final two are pretty low so, she’s pretty much just there as a floater. A vote for her side. Aside from that she’s not really able to do much more. I mean I guess I can look at it like she’s just terrible at competitions like so many others before, so why fault her for being bad at competitions ha ha but I think she should just go home, get better and come back next year. I mean I get why she wants to be there, it’s fun!! So all the power to her with whatever she decides. But she’s just not going to win the game. She shouldn’t at least
        But crazier things have happened

      • Plus, isn’t she going to be on pain meds? I can’t imagine those would help her in a mental game. LOL 😂

      • I think she’ll return in time to vote (for statistic purposes) and then leave the house afterwards. Just a hunch of mine is all.

      • If they pull her I don’t think there will be an eviction. It would really mess up their schedule. Already 1 self eviction, now someone being pulled. That’s 2 unplanned for.

      • They could end up with just one DE as opposed to two this season if they bring another back or possibly bring back another vet to cover these incidents. CBS can do anything they want with this much advanced notice.

      • Alternatively, they could simply cancel a scheduled eviction using a “Cancel this week’s eviction” temptation as the mechanism. There are lots of creative ways they can compensate for unscheduled dropouts.

      • I think she will give a video message from the hospital bed, telling everyone she can´t get back into the house. After the vote, her Ring of Replacement will be given to someone she chooses (Paul and another one can´t get it). And they will remove the DE, to keep the same amount of weeks.

    • Not only may she not be able to vote, I’m worried about the following week or two. She is starting to get things mixed up, not so much because she’s lying or withholding the truth, but probably because of the medication she’s been on. And I’m sorry she got hurt, but breaking her foot was an accident. One she had as much involvement in as Jason, yet she (and others) continue to place sole blame on him.

      • I agree. Jason is a tool, but Xmas is just as responsible for this “accident” as he is.
He didn’t tie her to his back, nor throw her to the ground.

      • What am I missing exactly? From what I have seen so far he is very likeable, guess I am missing stuff on the feeds?

      • You’re not seeing the same things some of us are, then. Jason is clearly not very bright and it’s annoying to see him insist his deductions are correct when they’re so obviously wrong. He’s a guy who never had a ghost of a chance to win. He can go home whenever the house wants.

      • It was completely puzzling as to why Christmas would blame “the horse” – lost some respect for her for that.

      • She’s playing the “victim” card as much as she can. That way, when her time comes to be on the block, people will feel sorry for her and not vote her out.

      • I agree…at the beginning. But I’ve seen her say multiple times “he broke my foot!’. Noo, you both broke your foot.

      • I do not care for Jason. He comes off so funny, but ironically he bragged about buying rabbits, watching them have sex and than killed them in order to make a rabbit throw for his wife! Disgusting! Who in their right mind would like and or want him to remain in the game????

    • Nothing personal against Xmas, but with this type of severe injury she shoud be gone.
My sister had something similar with multiple rods & screws having to be placed in her broken foot/ankle bones, and one of the most important parts of her recovery was to have absolutely no pressure on her limb.
Yes, I know Xmas is using crutches, but she is taking a chance on her long term mobility for the game she is not likely to win.
I would also think, for their own liability the producers would have removed her from the game.

      • My comment sounded cold, but the thing of it is, it’s her choice….we can’t stop her.

      • Production may be waiting to see how she fairs after the surgery.. If after surgery her ability to play in comps is still in question I would say that she needs to be removed…

      • She had to sign a waiver removing CBS’ responsibility for her injury. They’re probably paying for all her medical expenses though.

      • Standard waiver doesn’t remove responsibility, it usually limits it. CBS has insurance to cover accident like what happen. All the players sign a waiver before the season that would say that if something happens, whatever it is, players will not sue CBS and will accept whatever the insurance are willing to pay. I’m sure the insurance contract already spell every situation with a specific amount attach to it.

In Christmas’ case, depending if she has her own insurance, some expense could be covered by her insurance and the rest will be covered by CBS insurance. But she will definitely get a lump sum from the insurance.

      • I was thinking the same thing. The liability of CBS. I know she signs a release but this is something I wouldn’t want to take lightly.

      • I agree about the liability. But I’m sure they’ll have her sign something that they won’t be responsible for any further damage to the foot. Just to cover their own backside.

      • I agree. I admire her persistence and desire to stay in the game, but I can’t see any way for her to win. If that’s true, why not just let her return next year fully recovered?

    • She may be gone and Cody stays. Now that would make some fun feeds. The look on Pauls face when he realizes his HOH was a bust.

      • Oh please. We hear that crap every year. I would love for Cody to stay and go after Paul. Paul has had everything handed to him from CBS. They are rigging the winner already. They do this every year with the failed returnee who failed their year and have to do a redo. Talk about unfair. You need to wake the hell up.

      • Anita, You are a fool. You don’t believe that the show has input into how the show plays out? Idiot is all I got for you. I pity you.

      • If you think the show is rigged, the winner is predetermined, the comps and social game mean nothing – why do you watch?

      • Right now Cody is the most interesting thing in the house.
Sure he’s going to get the boot.
BUT, I hope he battles his way back in and wins HoH! By that time, Your (EGO) Boy’s necklace would be out of play & we could watch him on the block or dreading the backdoor. It would be great!

    • I was surprised to see Christmas on After Dark last night. I knew her surgery was postponed but I still thought she would be out of the house for some reason.

  2. I can’t even see Christmas out of the hospital before Thursday. I think there’s more to her situation that is not being revealed.

  3. Def not a Paul fan this season his whole “friendship” act is very watered down. If really look at his game play he has no loyalty to anyone. He rides the coat tails of those in power by build relationships with the minions. Paul knew that cody didnt like and that is why he played up the camera time and was always in cody’s face. Cody just fell for the act and got aggravated instead of seeing what Paul was doing. Paul is playing america as well. Things only a vet would know to do. Everyone on here wants to say they dont like Cody and Jessica and they are mean people….calling out someone for betrayal is not being mean. You big brother fans need to look better at how this game is played. Alex and Cody are the only strong players in this game, everyone else is a wet dog seeking comfort in a dry towel. This casting has alot of weak minded people that cant stand on their own and just looking to be told what decisions to make. Look how quickly mark and matt jump shipped all because Cody voted paul. Stop being star struck PLAY the game. NEVER KEEP A VET.

    • No doubt Cody was a strong competitor. His social game lacks big time though. Paul’s social game is spot on. Takes more social skills to win this game than it does comp skills, imo.

      • Paul’s social game is only this strong due to the fact that he is a vet….if you watch live feeds other players are always asking his advice on how to play. Being a vet is the only reason he will stick around. The players are handing him his ticket to jury house and possibly the win.

      • Paul’s social game was good last year, too. He made it to final 2. And, yes, the players ARE handing him his ticket…but that is their mistake. Even he’s said they’re idiots for doing that. Just like many were idiots last year and Nicole (vet) won the game.

      • right get rid of the vet…cody made a smart move it just backfired cause the temptation

    • I would say “I never say never”, but then that would be saying never. Only one “star” in my book and that is Nascar’s Dale, Jr. – so I am certainly not considering these people stars, but I am a Paul fan because he doesn’t go the personal route in the game and he is always trying to have fun. More power to him. I would be the worst player ever!

      • Paul route is all personal. He is going after cody cause cody voted him. He going after ramesus (i butchered that name) based that he just doesn’t like him. He is throwing in a random vote to create a shadow for himself and have the other house guests battle it out with each other. CBS is making Paul look like a fun guy but he is playing very hard and very non “friendship” like. Paul is his own friend. I am all for having gimmicks and stuff but there is a reason he did not win last year……cause half the jury was his “friend”

      • And u think Codys route was not personal??? Paul should hand him a “friendship” bracelet on his way hopping out the door…

      • you must not pay attention… cody never wanted a friendship bracelet, you must not watch live feeds

      • Oh u must of missed something….Paul and Cody were in the BY and when Paul ask Cody why Cody nominated him Codys answer was (not a quote) “You did not give me a friendship bracelet”.. Evidently u don’t have the same feeds that I have

      • Obviously you must have just join live feeds lol go back to the day when paul met with everyone to see who he would be giving the bracelets too, better yet watch episode one all over again.

      • I don’t have to go back and watch.. I saw the episode where the bracelets were given out… I saw Pauls and Codys encounter in the BY.. Now I am through arguing with u.. U are a person that wants to start trouble because somebody is not in agreement with ur views…U see one side of a situation “YOUR OWN” Other posters would call u a “troll” .. I would like to call u an overbearing asshole but I don’t think its allowed.. u have a good day.. my part of the conversation is done..

      • the def of a troll is you…you are on MY post. I am not on yours. And good little flies are annoying anyways. Glad you decided to buzz and annoying someone else.

      • See I think he does go personal. Him attacking Ramses because he thought he didn’t try to throw the veto comp and telling everyone to ignore him is personal. He’s a dictator and when his minions have their own opinion he gets angry and personal.

      • Oh absolutely he goes personal. I personally think he’s having them make all the same mistakes he did last year. And these fools are eating it up. lol I didn’t care for Paul last season, don’t care for him this season either. lol

      • You know, I agree he takes it personally when HGs don’t take his path, but that’s no different than any other player. They want things to go their way. Wouldn’t you? Wouldn’t anyone?

About the Ramses thing: This was a big deal for Paul for good reason. If Ramses (after promising to throw the comp) had won the veto and taken himself down, Paul’s entire backdoor plan falls apart. And for what? Ramses was in zero danger of going home. It was incredibly short-sighted and stupid for him to buck the house to try to remove a danger to himself that never existed in the first place. In fact, this ridiculous move not only put the success of Paul’s HOH week at risk, but it reinforced and solidified Ramses’ status as a future target. It was a lose-lose proposition from jump.

If you were Paul, you’d have been pissed off, too.

      • Ramses said he did throw it. And God forbid Ramses should play his own game instead of being one of Paul’s minions. And no I wouldn’t take it to a personal level. Paul’s telling everyone to ignore Ramses, calling him a prick. That has nothing to do with game. Paul’s a dictator and bully.

      • Yes, I know he said he threw it. He lied.

And I would be all for Ramses playing his own game if there was the tiniest hope that winning the veto would have helped him. It wouldn’t have.

        1) He was never in danger. He KNEW that. That’s why he chose that week to put himself on the block in the first place. Because he knew there was one overriding target and it wasn’t him.

        2) If he insisted, stupidly, to play to win in the veto comp, then don’t screw up other people’s games by pretending you’re planning to throw it. Again, lying to achieve an advantage is fine if there is an actual advantage to win, but wasn’t the case here. He was ALREADY SAFE.

        3) If he had won and taken himself off the block, the entire house would have been furious with him. He’d have had just two allies going forward: Jessica and Cody, and they are absolutely unable to help him get further in the game. Unless he won HOH, he’d be gone the very next week.

All of this is fine with me. I don’t care whether he stays or goes. My only point is that playing to win the veto comp was stupid and suicidal.

      • So you were there and he personally told you he lied. Okay. He is a Big Brother super fan and he’s not stupid enough to A. Win the veto and B. Take himself off the block when he knew the entire house wanted Cody gone. So unless you have some sort of inside information you really don’t know what he was doing.

      • He lost the veto comp by 4 seconds. It was a timed competition and nothing would have been easier than losing if that’s what he was really trying to do.

So, no, he didn’t tell me he lied. I concluded on my own that he lied because I have eyes and I’m not a moron.

And stop changing your argument. Either he didn’t lie and he just *happened* to almost win a timed competition or he did try to win “and God forbid he play his own game”. You can’t argue both positions. Pick one and stick with it, will you?

    • Alex and Kevin are actually playing the game…That’s why they should eventually team up with Paul for a 3 person “team” not alliance or final 3..alliances and final 4 3 2’s don’t always pan out.. too risky ..especially this early.. Cody is not a “team” player ..He made 90% of the house look shady , sneaky and all to be liars.. Matt & Mark did not fall off the Cody wagon immediately.. They tried to see his side of the matter but Cody had no plausible explanation for his actions ..His best reasoning for nominating Paul was ” Paul did not give him a friendship bracelet.”.. Cody needs to grow up cause he is in the BB house not 1st grade.. And Codys “‘wet dishrag personality ” does not help his case.. I don’t always agree with Pauls actions or words but he is a “team” player and if the “house” is following Paul its their choice.. Sometimes u gotta go with the flo in playing BB.. Bide ur time till the #s appear to be on ur side then make a major move.. Again keep watching Alex & Kevin both have insight that the rest lack..

      • i will agree only on the Alex part. Any SMART person would vote off a vet. Vets have knowledge that NO OTHER PLAYER has, come on now. For all those people that are soooo offended that he put up paul without telling them needs to get over it. He did solo so they would not be blamed. He also wanted the big game changing play. Kevin is what i call a shadow player. He has no knowledge of big brother really or putting off that way. He is on the show cause he is eccentric old guy.

      • Kevin has knowledge. A few of his daughters are super fans and I’d be willing to bet he has seen many episodes. He is also charismatic and kind of knew he could maneuver his way through the game if given a chance. He is sly….I like him, and I’m confident he’ll make it quite far.

      • I’m not offended, I don’t take the game that personally. I just think it was stupid to not talk to his alliance about it. He could have tried to convince them, but isolated himself in the HOH room with Jessica instead. He does not have a good social game.

      • You’re right. Vets have knowledge that no other player has. But Paul is right, too. Especially if they’re the ONLY vet, they have huge, built-in targets on their backs that no one else has, too.

I think it balances out kind of nicely.

    • I agree with you. I’d like Cody to stay. I think he was one of the only ones that is playing. Paul isn’t playing he’s dictating. But I don’t like Codys personality. He’s very cold. But I don’t think he’s mean.

      • yes he has a dry personality but it is what create him as a player, we saw the whole friendship sting last year….i like seeing a new dynamic of game play. imagine if paul wasn’t there this game would be WAY different. I am watching Big Brother not the Paul show cause they are gonna hand it to him. Most of the players are like i just wanna make it to the jury house besides alex.

      • I have never figured out why these players only set the goal to make it to jury. Dude, I’d want to make it to the final 2. Win or lose, that would be my goal. But the last few seasons, the goal of these jokers is making it to jury. Makes no sense to me.

    • While I agree keeping a vet is dangerous and yes Paul does seem too powerful, Cody has himself to blame for his predicament. He’s not at team player. He went after Paul WITHOUT TALKING TO HIS ALLIES. He previously promised them that Jason was the backdoor plan when he LIED to them.

It didn’t help that Cody didn’t BOND with anyone other than Jessica. This caused others to jump ship- not because Paul was his target, but because his sloppy social game. I agree he had the balls to go after a returning player, but he was dumb enough not to tell anyone his plan.

Yeah I agree with you that Paul has to be the next target, if Cody goes home then he has no one to blame but HIMSELF.

      • Maybe everyone is a little bit scared of Paul because of last season. I mean, the guy was a constant target and he managed to survive time after time.

I honestly think the new players are not acting silly by not targeting Paul, but they may be too nervous for their own good.

People may forget that Paul really didn’t know much of anything about BB before last season. Regardless, he plays the game better than most Super Fans.

      • Not only that, but he had no contingency plan to replace his unexpected backdoor of Paul when it failed. Instead, he reflexively switched targets and nominated Christmas after he had assured her she was safe. That mistake is the one that opened the door for Paul to take over the house.

      • It’s kind of like the Willie/Frank conflict.
Willie promised one person safety (Frank) but manipulates the house to go the extra mile and vote against Frank so he’d come after them. After that nobody trusted Willie so they not only kept Frank but they let him have the HOH so he can go after Willie.

Same with Cody/Paul. Nobody trusted Cody after the whole backdoor fiasco so they kept Christmas and let Paul go after him.

  4. I definitely want Alex to stay. It’s lowkey sad the villain is leaving so soon, but maybe Jessica will win HOH next week as much as I’d hate to say that lol. But I love drama, so go figure

    • From what I’m reading from just about all the posters on this page… The villain is definitely not leaving this week. Most of the posters on this page seem to have Paul as their personal villain. Luckily, he will most likely be around to play the game for many weeks to come. Especially since he’s the only who is actually playing the game right now.

      • I wouldn’t call Cody a villain. Villains actually think rationally and have strategic and savvy plans.

An example of a villain: Derrick. Someone who has the intelligence and reasoning to go after a strong player. Someone who can get people to like him while stabbing them in the back. Someone who poses as the go to guy for advice. That to me is a villain

Cody on the other hand is just a sloppy social player with good plans but poor execution.

      • Yeah, Cody was not equipped to play this game from a social standpoint. Plus, either he hasn’t watched previous seasons or he isn’t smart enough to have learned from watching them. You don’t make a move behind your entire team’s back and think that nobody is going to turn against you.

Most true villains are at least somewhat charming or engaging socially. To call Cody a villain would be an insult to villains everywhere, lol.

      • We only differ on what we define as villain. I BOO villians – like that brat Paulie or this year’s Paul – selfish and rude little brats. I cheer a Derrick who in the name of the game is a charming seamless manipulator who doesn’t even have to win comps all the time to stay in the game.

      • Cody hasn’t done enough in the game to be called a Villain. A**holes like Boogie and Evil Dick are villains. They played everyone. If he returns to the game and actually makes it to the end, then he will earn that title. I did not like Derrick either, so yes, I agree with you.

    • I think once Cody is gone, Jessica will be able to play her own game. She’s sidled up with Cody and that’s pretty much ruining her social game. And making her look really bad. I’m not sure who I like so far this year. It’s a toss up between Alex and Kevin.

  5. Why is Cody the ‘villain?’ I liked his aggressive gameplay, but he should’ve let the ‘bros’ in on it.

  6. Nah, let Cody go and come back via the Battle Back. More fun that way. ;)

  7. Don’t worry about Cody being evicted. He’s coming back in the Battle Back (or some variation there of) but will he learn from his mistakes?

  8. Kind of a boring vote this week although I do like how Kevin and Paul are planning that secret hinky vote!? That’s awesome! LOL
Now, I hope Alex or even Jessica wins HOH. I want to see this big strong alliance turn on each other. If this big strong alliance wins HOH, then it’s just another week like this week
Actually I thought about it, I want to see Jessica well because I want to see not only if this strong alliance holds it together and stays true to each other but, I also want to see people scrambling and see who sucks up to her.
That would be a lot of entertainment! For sure
