The new season of Big Brother 26 is still months away as casting continues to receive applications and when those Houseguests are selected they just might be walking into an all-new Big Brother house!

A rumor coming from a source worth considering, @fairplaybella, dropped the news that the next season of Big Brother, arriving in 2024 on CBS, would be in a new house. That would mean a new location. Farewell Studio 18?

Fair Play Bella writes simply, “new bb26 house,” in a new tweet overnight and confirms in a reply this means a new house entirely, not just referencing a redesign.

The Big Brother House is currently located and films in Studio 18 at the CBS Studio Center in Los Angeles. We’ve enjoyed that “home” each season since BB6 so that’s a LOT of Big Brother history in those studio walls. After all those years, yeah, I’d say we might be due for something different.

Few years ago there was the announcement that CBS was selling the Studio Center land but then would be leasing it back, so this is not necessarily a situation where CBS has to relocate Big Brother to a different area but they certainly could. The LA weather has been friendly to the summer series over the years, so I wouldn’t expect it to travel far if it even leaves Studio Center at all, but I’ll be curious to see where it could go next.

What do you think of a new possible setting for Big Brother 26? What sort of changes would you make in the BBUS House? I know Big Brother Canada has always had an impressive venue so if there is a change in the works I’m hoping Big Brother production takes in a lot of ideas from outside sources. Share your wish list for a new Big Brother House!
