Big Brother 17 Live Feeds Week 4: Thursday Night Highlights

It’s a new week in the Big Brother 17 house, but it’s more of the same on the Live Feeds. The same side is in power and the same incorrect speculation has paranoia levels on the rise.

Vanessa and Clay — I mean Liz and Shelli — are the news Heads of Household so they’ve got to figure who their best targets are and the best plan to get one of them out the door this week. So a lot of the night was spent talking about that.

Big Brother 17 Live Feed Highlights – Thursday, July 15, 2015:

7:02 PM BBT – Feeds return after the live show. Shelli and Liz are celebrating their HOH wins.

7:12 PM BBT – Audrey and Jason talking about the week ahead. He thinks he will probably be nominated by Liz because of the whole twin thing. Audrey says she feels pretty safe this week. Audrey didn’t know about the Liz being the twin. She says she wouldn’t suspect it to be her. They’re also talking about who the four votes to keep Jeff were.

7:24 PM BBT – Austin and Clay think Becky was one of the four votes to evict James.

7:40 PM BBT – Vanessa is upset people lied to her face about voting this week. She feels betrayed and said if she finds out who it was they’ll be sorry. Liz, who was one of the stray votes, is sitting by her.

7:55 PM BBT – HGs speculating on America’s vote or America’s player voting to save Jeff.

8:15 PM BBT – Vanessa says she’ll be able to tell who is lying about the votes based on their pulse. She’s going to ask people how they voted and see if they’re lying.

8:45 PM BBT – Vanessa asks Steve about the vote. He says he voted to evict Jeff.

8:53 PM BBT – Vanessa still harping on the vote. She thinks one is America’s Player’s vote and the other was just someone who lied. She thinks that other one is Becky and that it’s not Steve.

9:17 PM BBT – Audrey thinks the vote was actually Steve and is trying to convince Clay. He says it doesn’t even matter.

9:32 PM BBT – Vanessa and Clay talk about backdooring Audrey this week (they’re acting like the Heads of Household). They’re certain she’s America’s Player. But then Vanessa says maybe now isn’t the time for Audrey to go because she has a good read on her and can control her for now. Clay agrees and says they need to worry about Jason, James and Meg before Audrey.

9:55 PM BBT – After their long talk as non-Heads of Household, Clay and Vanessa decide Jason should be the main target this week.

9:58 PM BBT – Shelli and Liz are called to the Diary Room to get their HOH room keys.

10:08 PM BBT – Shelli and Liz come out of the DR. “Who wants to see our HOH room?” The HGs head upstair to check it all out.

11:07 PM BBT – HOH crew definitely think Becky was the fourth vote to evict James.

11:10 PM BBT – Clay telling the HOH crew that Becky and Jason need to be put up on opposite sides so one of them can go home this week and then have a backdoor plan waiting in case the one left on the block wins Veto.

11:20 PM BBT – They’re all convinced Audrey is America’s Player.

11:46 PM BBT – Now the HOH crew are convincing themselves that Becky is some kind of mastermind.

12:55 AM BBT – James talks with Clay and suggests he would go after Steve if he was nominated. Clay promises James he’ll try to keep him, Meg, and Jason from going up on the Block this week.

1:20 AM BBT – Shelli and Becky are doing their talk now. Becky wants to smooth things over with Audrey and lets Shelli know she trusts her and Clay. As for the twins, Becky would rather see the twins enter the game than to let an evictee return. Becky also warns Shelli that it might have been Liz who voted to keep Jeff since they spent so much time together.

1:50 AM BBT – Shelli is upset about Austin trying to control the noms decision and he warned Jackie that she might go up as a pawn. She tells Vanessa they need to watch him.

2:00 AM BBT – Shelli relays to Vanessa that it might have been Liz who voted to keep Jeff. Vanessa says she’ll question Becky because Becky isn’t a good liar, but thinks that deflection would be exactly what Becky would try to do.

2:25 AM BBT – Audrey suggests Shelli to get dethroned so she can compete again next week. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Vanessa tells Liz and Austin that she hopes Shelli keeps HoH.

3:00 AM BBT – John and Liz make a two-week safety deal where they won’t target/nom the other.

3:40 AM BBT – Vanesssa working through a plan where she wants Liz to nom Becky/Jackie then have Shelli nom Jason and Steve.

4:20 AM BBT – Shelli also considers putting up Audrey and Becky then getting the other side to throw it so Audrey can be safe for the week. Can’t make this stuff up.

4:45 AM BBT – Shelli tells Clay she would like to see Austin gone this week, but then worries it would upset Liz so she dismisses it.

5:00 AM BBT – HGs finally turning in for the night. Shelli kicked Clay out of their bed so she could get some rest. Liz wasn’t so lucky.

Nominations are coming up Friday morning and the HoH crew is still scrambling through their scenarios to find the right combination of nominees to go after their target, or to at least not lose an ally. It’s getting so complicated that we could get a real fun mess on our hands here.

  1. Ugh I really dislike the ppl who are in power right now. Can’t stand Austin or Vanessa and the idea of another week of them in power (even if it’s just by proxy) turns my stomach.

    • Agree 100%! The people in power are so clueless as to whats really going on that they (Vanessa) are throwing other people who did nothing wrong(Becky) under the bus! -__-

HoHitis hasn’t left her body yet. Liz should tell her, you know what Vanessa, I need you as a pawn this week. LOL

  3. Sometimes its funny hearing the things they are totally convinced about and they couldn’t be more wrong. I think it may be interesting if Liz stays HOH since she’s been pretty quiet so as not to get extra attention up to now. Who cares how they voted, Clay is right it does not matter. And Becky a mastermind? Where do these crazy ideas come from.

    • I had kind of forgotten about Becky until she was the host of the Veto. I was like oh yeah she is still in the house.

      • Lol right! Until today Becky was irrelevant… Now that she is being labeled a ‘liar’ (Thanks to Vanessa) the house guests are now aware of her

      • Haha not to mention Audrey being America’s Player! -__- Hey Vanessa I have a better idea. How about you all stop assuming and actually play the game strategically instead of emotionally! ^_^

  4. Since Liz is HOH and if she remains after the BoB, doesn’t that mean Julia joins her next week? Now, I hope Julia joins the game; I see she/they are playing the game, their own game. It would be interesting when/if Julia joins and maybe there will be a power shift. Vanessa and Austin can annoy folks out of an alliance.

  5. Shelli has been playing this game emotionally and not strategically since day one and because she is so selfish her decisions have seen her through in this game. Hooking up with Clay, evicting Da’vonne because her man had an argument with her, wanting Jason out who is not a major threat to her or Clay (they’ve all talked about how close shelli and clay are and how they need to be broken up I.e. Austin and Vanessa), evicting Jeff because, let’s face it, he was close with Clay and he’d get involved in their Showmance.

In my opinion Shelli has proven she is immature and petty.

    • You really need to watch her more on the feeds. Shelli is a smart player. Did you see how she was coaching Liz on how to talk to people and she’s the one keeping Clay under control. She is not playing emotionally. Da was after her and Clay so she got rid of her. Jason is after them. He even said they would go up if he got HOH. She would be smart to get rid of him. Jeff through them under the bus so she voted him out. All of her moves have been strategic. IMO. And yes her and Clay are playing together but so are a lot of other people. Jeff was playing with Jackie now that’s done. Jason was with Da now he’s with Meg. There’s a lot of small alliances. She even told Jeff when they had a long talk she knows her and Clay are a target and she says she’s dealing with it. She is going after the people that are after her and if she gets put up then she’ll just win and take herself down. I think she’s playing smarter then most of them. Once again JMO.

    • There was a lot more reasons for evicting Da’vonne than her argument with clay. You seem to be the emotional one.

  6. It’s like Helen all over again. Oh we can just get Amanda out next week, well this week just isn’t the right week, definitely going to get her out next week. We all remembered what ended up happening; Helen was out before Amanda. Honestly though I don’t think I would be to upset to see Vanessa walking out the door soon.

    • The difference is, between Amanda and Audrey, Audrey has no influence in the game, which makes me view Audrey’s survival as the story of an underdog, not someone who strikes fear in others.

      • Totally agree. The only reason she is a bigger target right now is because no one really likes her. It’s not like she is good at competition. If she just keeps her mouth shut and lays low for awhile people just might forget that they don’t like her and move their target to someone else.

      • Not to mention she will become a number for someone in the house. And if anyone shows real interest in working with her and befriending her, she would be appreciative of that. Right now that person seems to be James.

      • I personally believe Audrey could slip all the way to the end when it’s too late for everyone else

  7. Vanessa can tell if people are lying by their pulse? Is she going to hold their wrists while asking them how they voted?

    • That’s how Austin was able to lie to her, she forgot to hold his wrist.

    • I sometimes think these people forget they are playing a game. Has there ever been a person who won the game that hasn’t lied at point in the game? It’s Big Brother; lying comes with the game.

  8. Vanessa better cool her jets this week. It looks like the 6th Sense alliance is posed for another big target. She could be forgotten about by next week. But if she keeps playing so hard and loose, Shelli might see this as a way to get rid of her biggest competition this week.

  9. OMG..these people are maddening to watch!! I really wish someone in production would tell them there is no America’s Player!! Austin is starting to creep me out where Liz is concerned..he has his hands all over her. Vanessa has lost her mind. As Austin becomes more vocal, the more I dislike him. I really don’t have a clear favorite this season.

    • I agree about not having a favorite. I want to like Meg and Jason, but I can’t stand all the sitting around and talking about what’s going on and not doing anything about it. Both are liked by most of the house, yet they have failed to form a strong alliance with anyone. There are so many people out there that are unaffiliated to work with. It also astounds me that they don’t see Clay and Shelli are not with them anymore. That should have been apparent a couple weeks ago when Shelli was HOH and put up Meg as a pawn.

    • I agree. I would love to see Vanessa and Austin on the block together. Shelli is starting to think about getting rid of Austin. Don’t think she will put him up though because it would turn her alliance against her right now.

  10. —-4:45 AM BBT – Shelli tells Clay she would like to see Austin gone this week, but then worries it would upset Liz so she dismisses it.—–

For a brief moment Shelli realizes she’s not in a sorority house, but she’s actually playing a game where the winner gets $500,000! However, much to her relief, the moment quickly passes.

Getting Austin out is Shelli’s best play. Backdoor Austin and then throw the twins under the bus. She could distance herself slightly from Clay while he works to get in good with Meg, Jason and James. Shelli could tell Jackie that she didn’t like how Austin played Jeff dirty and she can’t trust him (thus gaining Jackie’s trust).

Jason has already speculated that the twin will both come in after week five. Shelli can play on that.

“Look people we only have one more week to keep the twins out of the house. Who knows what kind of damage they could do when they get in here together! I have the opportunity to take out their chief protector (Austin).

I’m not rooting for Shelli, just rooting for someone, ANYONE! to do something smart!

    • I dont like shelli, but you are right that that is her best strategy at this point in the game

    • I want the twins to make it in the house. I want to see how they play the game when they don’t have to hide or worry about being evicted before week 5.

  11. Vanessa is so full of herself. She proclaims herself a genius while Austin manipulates her all over the place. Now she can read peoples minds by their pulse? I guess that applies to everyone but Steve.

There are so many people in this house that are just so clueless. I am not even sure why they are in the game other than to socialize. I am hoping Liz is a wildcard. Perhaps she will suggest to Shelli that they target Austin since he won’t leave her alone and acts like he owns her. Its not just creepy.

This reminds me of last season when the only alliance sent one floater home after another in a predictable fashion while the floaters did nothing to stop it.

  12. The “takeover twist” seemed to have run out of gas. Seemed to be no different from a regular season..or Is it?

    • even though it seems like they have been playing for months it has only been 3 weeks. With 13 people left there is no one that is too powerful. Clay and Shelli have been noticed, but there is no need to break them up this early when they will be a constant target later in the game.

      • Game wise, I just believe that a couple that’s working together is a priority, and that goes with the twin too. I don’t think it’s gonna happen this week.

  13. I cannot wait for the inevitable to happen with Shelli saving Audrey week after week and then Audrey wins HOH and is Clay’s demise. I can sense this happening and if/when it happens it will be amazing! Audrey has been growing on me and I’m ready to see her win power!

Oh, and I hope Vanessa/Austin never win power ever again.

  14. I hate the mindset that you need to conduct a witchhunt against people you think voted against the HOH’s wishes.
