Veto Day arrived for Big Brother 17 with a lot riding on who would be selected to play in the competition and who would be calling the shots for possible renom scenarios.
By the end of Saturday we had Veto winner and a reinforcement of the group plan to target one Houseguest with yet another Backdoor move, but with two more days to go will that plan hold up?
Big Brother 17 Live Feed Highlights – Saturday, July 18, 2015:
10:20 AM BBT – Vanessa, Shelli, and Clay are starting out the day with a talk about Audrey and how they need to get rid of her.
10:35 AM BBT – Clay is adamant that they do not let Audrey on to the plan until they know if she plays in the Veto comp.
1:20 PM BBT – Julia, John, and Jason have their punishment costumes on for being the losers from the Battle of the Block. They’re dressed in all white and must dance whenever their pager goes off. It’s a 90’s theme punishment. Nice touches.
2:00 PM BBT – Veto players picked. Meg, James, and Vanessa will join Shelli, Jason, and John. Steve is hosting.
2:05 PM BBT – Meg promises Shelli both she and James will use the Veto to say Jason so Shelli can renom Audrey for a BD. James arrives & agrees to the plan.
4:40 PM BBT – Vanessa tells Shelli to throw the comp and she’ll win it since that’d be best for their plan.
7:05 PM BBT – Feeds are back and HGs are covered in paint. Well, not Vanessa. She won the Power of Veto.
8:45 PM BBT – Feeds return again for the Have-Nots reveal. They’ll have cake and gravy. Seriously. Shelli picks Audrey, Becky, Jackie, and John. Clay is the only HG left to not do HNs.
9:07 PM BBT – Shelli applies hair extensions. It’s, um, yeah.
9:30 PM BBT – Vanessa begins offering Jason a deal, but she wants to know who he is closest to in the game. Audrey breaks up the game talk.
10:20 PM BBT – Vanessa talks with Shelli about Veto options. She wants to take Jason off the Block, but says Audrey doesn’t have to be the renom if Shelli can’t bring herself to do it.
11:10 PM BBT – Austin gives Julia a heads up that Audrey could be Backdoor’d this week. Julia thinks that’s a good idea.
11:45 PM BBT – Shelli working on a deal with Jason. Says she’s okay with Vanessa using the Veto on him if they can get a group safety deal for her and Clay too. Jason says he’d like to see Audrey or Austin renom’d.
12:00 AM BBT – Jason tells Shelli she’d be safe to put up Audrey this week. Shelli thinks that might be the thing to do then.
1:40 AM BBT – Clay takes a shower, for those who want to watch it.
1:55 AM BBT – Audrey and Jackie speculating over what could happen with the Veto this week. Audrey wonders if Shelli is willing to get more blood on her hands.
3:10 AM BBT – James and Audrey discuss possible renom options. Audrey thinks Steve will go up.
5:20 AM BBT – Steve is outside alone and camtalking game. He does this off and on for awhile.
6:00 AM BBT – Jason and Steve are still awake and chatting general game details and who said what. Steve likens Audrey to BB10’s Brian. Jason knows Audrey is well versed in manipulation.
Audrey looks like she’s in trouble but other than her routine danger levels I’m not sure she’s aware just how bad this looks for her. Shelli could always get scared and back down, which wouldn’t surprise me, but you never know. If Vanessa gets word that Austin could be a possible renom then we may get a different outcome at the upcoming meeting on Monday.

I really would like to see Audrey stay, but I suppose if she leaves it’s not the end of the world. I’m hoping that we see someone from the Sixth Sense alongside someone from the side that never wins HoH apparently (Jason, Meg, James, Jackie) and the BotB might actually become the most crucial competition of the week for once!
I wouldn’t mind either. I like the kind of drama she bring. I rather see Austin go up and out. He’s getting too creepy.
My two least favorite people so far this year, Austin and Vanessa. She’s trying to keep him off of Shelli’s radar for this eviction. Hopefully the next HOH will not value Vanessa’s opinion as much as Shelli does.
Shellie and Vanessa, they remind me a a little bit of Amanda vs Helen. They’ll go toe to toe. Who will strike first?…that’s the question.
Shelli is naive to think that Vanessa is a true ally. Vanessa is a dirty player and an ally with whomever can get her further in the game at any given time and she will throw anyone under the bus by any means available if she thinks they may be a threat to her game or not following her lead. As much as I don’t care for either of these ladies, Vanessa is the smarter, more cunning, more aggressive and more strategic player. Shelli has the nice girl next door act and she depends on advice and support from others. Vanessa would eat Shelli alive if it were ever a one on one thing, but then there is Clay to protect poor little Shelli. LOL
You are right about Vanessa. She is more cunning and smarter. She did show her cards a little too much Showed her brain thoughts. Shelli/Clay knows how she operates…Shellie has Clay but .I think she has Judas..Can’t wait to see when they go head-on.

Not seeing much point in getting rid of audrey and keeping Jason. Jason has won 2 botbs and an hoh. Audrey has won no comps. Jason has allies in jackie, james, and meg. Audrey has none. Jason would most likely target Sixth sense. Audrey is a complete wild card who would target anyone. So remind me again why target Audrey?

They believe Jason is alone, when that isn’t the case. But Audrey has a history of being untrustworthy and a liar.
