As for the talk of flipping the vote, Vanessa won’t ever support that because she’s hoping that her and Julia will persist and be a one-sided F2 once Liz is out. So don’t expect Vanessa to come around this week with a change of heart and want to allow Meg to stay. If Vanessa doesn’t sanction the flip then Steve and John won’t be willing to do it leaving James and Meg one vote short of making anything happen even if their plan, “Operation Trojan Horse,” to flip Austin happens (which it won’t, read more on that here).
Since I’ve complained about it at every turn the past few days I’ll go ahead and mention it again here. Missed opportunities. Instead of discussing a Julia vs Meg situation it should have been Liz up there.
Vanessa has expressed interest to John in seeing Liz go very soon and she could have had that without casting a single vote or having to convince Austin to do it and deal with him admitting to it later. Everyone needs that trio split up but few, very few, like maybe John, seems to be willing to for sure do what it takes. Steve has said he would, but even Vanessa worries about if he’s really ready to do it when the time comes.
And talk about missed opportunities, this could be the last chance HGs have to not see the Van Austwins controlling the majority of the vote. They’d normally have four votes, but this week Van is HoH and Julia is on the Block. That leaves the Van Austwins with two votes while the deciding count is three, which also happens to be the balance of outstanding votes. Next round it’ll require only two votes to force a tie-breaker and the following round two votes will decide the eviction. This chance is about to slip away from them.
If there wasn’t a twin bond going on here the choice between Julia and Meg wouldn’t be too different. Neither has won a solo competition to their name and both share the same risk to other HGs. No one would want to be up on the Block against either because they’re pawns with low target value, twins thing aside for Julia, of course. Unfortunately for these HGs, they are ignoring the twins element and are about to yet again allow them to stand side by side in the game. Knuckleheads.
On Thursday’s vote look for a 4-1 with Meg Maley evicted and heading to Jury.
