Fridays are always busy days on Big Brother and this week was no different. The new Heads of Household had to make quick work of nominations and then prepare for Battle of the Block, but would their plans come together?
After a late night of plotting things nearly crumbled as Nicole went in to panic mode early Friday. Her inability to settle on a second nomination pick nearly undid their whole backdoor-Devin plan. In a last minute swap the nominations were complete and HGs moved on to phase two: Battle of the Block.

Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Friday, July 11, 2014:
5:50 PM BBT – Feeds return from Battle of the Block. Derrick’s noms lost so he remains HoH as planned. Nicole is dressed in a frog suit.
6:05 PM BBT – Derrick and Caleb discussing the comp. They say Caleb didn’t throw it because it wasn’t something you could intentionally lose.
6:30 PM BBT – Jocasta is throwing up. Caleb, Donny, Amber, and others are helping her get to bed. Later HGs say they’re told she had heat exhaustion and dehydration (maybe from their time out in the comp?)
7:00 PM BBT – Brittany and Derrick having a long talk to work out their trust issues. Good luck sitting through this discussion.
7:55 PM BBT – Amber thinks Donny may have been trying to throw the BotB competition.
8:15 PM BBT – Derrick is worried about Devin getting to compete in the Veto. If Devin wins and saves someone then Brittany goes up.
8:35 PM BBT – Frankie thinks Brittany and Donny will be the next targets after Devin leaves.
9:45 PM BBT – Cody and Zach realize how well positioned Nicole is in the game. She has allies on all sides.
10:45 PM BBT – Brittany and Cody talking game. She was worried Caleb was gunning for her to Derrick before noms. They think Amber is using Cody to upset Caleb.
1:25 AM BBT – Derrick and Donny chat about getting their rumor plan going. They better hurry. Time runs out Monday night.
1:50 AM BBT- Amber and Brittany gather in the Hive. Both think Pao was causing trouble and talk smack about other players.
2:00 AM BBT – Cody and Derrick worry about Brittany. They’re not sure about trusting her. Both agree that Caleb did not throw the BotB competition because it wasn’t that kind of comp, but they lost because Jocasta performed poorly.
2:20 AM BBT – Derrick is worried about Christine, but Cody feels good about her. Cody believes she’ll come to him with information so they can keep tabs on her.
2:40 AM BBT – Lots of worry between Cody and Derrick about Devin playing in the Veto comp. They discuss it being a 1:13 chance that Devin is picked. (Well, it’s better than that. Disregarding HG Choice, it’ll be 1:11, then 1:10, and finally 1:9 as chips are drawn and the pool size drops.)
2:50 AM BBT – Hayden joins Derrick and Cody in the HoH room. They discuss worrying about Brittany. Hayden did push for Nicole to nom Britt instead of Donny or Vic.
3:45 AM BBT – Derrick and Frankie talk about their Team America plans. Maybe they should get those in action already.
The Power of Veto competition is coming up on Saturday and will be critical in their plan. As long as Devin is not picked to play then they’ve got him where they want him. Well, mostly. As long as whoever wins it is willing to use it. Should be exciting!

I watch every show and BBAD, but i was amazed to find out that there is a player named jocasta ??? has she been hiding in a closet ?
Im pretty sure Jacosta got sick so somebody would notice her. But, going to bed ended her cameo.
Primetime episodes tend to ignore her. But she’s been around the live feeds, especially at late night.
Hope Devin wins veto today!
I kinda feel like Amber, Brittany, Caleb, Frankie, and Victoria made a mistake giving Derrick what he wanted by saving Zach. Amber, Brit, Vic, Frankie, and Caleb are basically disposable to Derrick & his clan and they are the next targets. I think they should have saved Paola just for the simple fact that they can use her for a number and they can break up that Derrick/Cody/Hayden/Zach group. I don’t see them having another opportunity to take out Zach again, they should have took that opportunity when they had it. I get that everyone wants to go against Devin but at the same time, it was a bad move on their part by not voting out Zach when Paola is not even threatening.
I love the Derrick/Cody/Hayden/Zach group. They are decent, mostly smart (Derrick/Cody, anyway), and strong competitors. They are the kind of ppl who deserve to win. Otherwise, ship of wimps.
I like Derrick/Cody/Hayden. I never liked Zach tbh. Any BB houseguest deserve to win if they make it to the end because it takes a lot of work making sure that they are not the one getting evicted.
Yeah, but I hate it when a Rachael or an Andy wins.
Again they deserve the win if they made it to the end. Regardless of how they played the game.
There are different ways of looking at it. Those who keep eliminating “strong players because they are threats” are actually the threats. A ship of wimps is dull and makes for bad tv. I ended up skipping through the final episodes the past couple of years.
I agree with you Joey, they should have gotten Zach out. I think they will have to find the hard way later of the mistake they made, especially if Zach gets the next HOH or something like that. Zach is only true to Cody and has been from day one.

Well, we have Hayden sort of courting Nicole so there’s some flirting going on. Caleb and Amber, well…I don’t think courtship is Caleb’s strong cup of tea.
I’d love to see a season with a couple of real sleazy hore’s willing to trade “favors” for votes…. now that would be great tv…
OK, how ridiculous is that frog suit. It has to be the one of the most humbling penalty costume I’ve seen. Frank and Ian always wore theirs well. But, poor Nicole has had her natural awkwardness enhanced prodigiously.
Nothing about the long discussion in the HoH room wherein Devin comes to terms with the reality that he is going home? That was a crazy conversation!
