The first part of the day in the Big Brother 16 house was a snoozefest. But after a halfway point party, some booze that got Caleb’s mind going and Derrick taking charge, the house has seemingly flipped on its eviction plan for this week. Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Wednesday, August 6, 2014:
10:05 AM BBT – Feeds are down. Wake-up call time.
10:17 AM BBT – Feeds return. HGs stirring. Some getting ready, some outside.
11:10 AM BBT – Donny and Nicole say they’re both voting out Zach. Nicole says she thinks Zach is entertaining, but he has to go because it’s the best game move. Nicole asks Donny what he would do if he won the first HOH of a double eviction. He says he’d nominate Christine and Caleb and Frankie would be the replacement nominee. Nicole seems pleased.
11:15 AM BBT – Talk has turned to Christine and how neither trust her. Nicole keeps talking about how many lies Christine is telling.
12:09 PM BBT – Victoria is accusing Nicole of stealing some of her clothes. (HAHA)
3:23 PM BBT – Indoor lockdown. Someone was yelling outside the backyard.
4:10 PM BBT – No one is really doing anything of note.
5:38 PM BBT – Zach says his family is probably watching the veto episode right now thinking he’s an idiot.
6:00 PM BBT – Hayden and Derrick talk about the possible double eviction. They both say they’d put up Christine and Frankie.
6:28 PM BBT – Feeds are down.
8:38 PM BBT – Feeds return. The HGs had the mid-point party. There was pizza, pasta and cake. HGs even had some booze. Caleb had six beers apparently.
8:55 PM BBT – Zach goes to talk to Nicole. He asks her if he’s her target. Zach tells her she’s not his target. She won’t tell him he’s safe or that she wouldn’t keep him if the vote was a tie.
9:10 PM BBT – Caleb asking Frankie why exactly are they voting out Zach? He doesn’t understand why their alliance is voting him out and thinks they’re losing an important number.
9:20 PM BBT – Now Derrick and Cody are talking about what Caleb brought up about the numbers. Frankie comes in and they talk more about Caleb’s thoughts. Then Christine comes in. Derrick leaves, but the others talk about keeping Zach. None of them want to.
9:36 PM BBT – Cody asks Christine if she threw his name out there to Donny. Christine says no that that is a lie and that Donny asked her to work with him, Nicole and Hayden. Cody is pissed at Donny.
9:40 PM BBT – Derrick alone talking to the cameras: He says he can’t get any time alone with Cody because Frankie and Christine are both paranoid. Â “We gotta make a move tonight,” Derrick says “because I am not going to get played in this game doing the dirty work of someone else.”
10:03 PM BBT – Derrick and Cody finally talk. Derrick tells him about his thoughts on keeping Zach. Cody tells him about his conversation with Christine. They decide that Nicole has been playing them all and that they should keep Zach so they don’t lose one of their numbers.
10:10 PM BBT – Cody and Christine are talking again. Cody is telling everything to Christine. He tells her that Nicole and Hayden wanted to backdoor Frankie this week and that Christine could go home next week.
10:25 PM BBT – Cody and Christine sharing everything with Frankie. Hayden and Nicole have been playing the whole house, they tell him. They’re all getting excited and say they’re going to keep Zach and go after Nicole and Hayden.
10:32 PM BBT – Derrick comes in and sees the excitement and says they’re keeping Zach. So Zach, at this moment, has been saved. And he’s been asleep the whole time.
11:10 PM BBT – Caleb comes in and Frankie tells him he was so right about keeping Zach. They all thank him for setting them straight about the vote.
11:20 PM BBT – Cody and Frankie still talk about not trusting Zach, but he won’t put them up and will vote for them, so keeping him is obvious.
12:06 AM BBT – Derrick is talking to Jocasta. She’s talking about how Frankie said she’s safe, but she didn’t believe him. She seems nervous about the vote.
12:26 AM BBT – Frankie and Derrick are talking about scenarios and Derrick is talking about what to do if there are two HOHs. Frankie says he doesn’t think there will be two because there was work going on in the other HOH room. They speculate that it’s being turned into Pandora’s Box.
1:21 AM BBT – Frankie and Caleb take Zach into the beehive room and tells him that Hayden and Nicole are trying to get him out. Frankie tells him that they’re blindsiding them and keeping him. Caleb tells Zach that they think Zach is going home with a blindside, but they have the votes to keep him. Derrick joins the group and they fill Zach in on the rest of what they’ve all been talking about all night.
1:45 AM BBT – Derrick, Frankie, and Caleb continue to talk in the Hive. They say it’ll be 6 vs 2 in Thursday’s HoH competition.
1:55 AM BBT – Frankie and Zach talk. Frankie says this goes back to Nicole and Donny and are their new targets.
2:15 AM BBT – Caleb talking with Zach getting ready for sleep. Caleb says they must stick together and remain loyal. They call it a night.
So it’s looking like Zach might be safe this week and the new targets will be Hayden and Nicole. There’s still some work to do and time for things to change, but with Derrick leading the charge, what he says goes. So it’ll probably all be up to him.

The seed was already there. Caleb just made them realize, Zach is on their side. JoCasta is with Donny, and Donny is with Nicole and Hayden.
You know production plants those seeds. They probably been working on Caleb too. Well you’re getting your wish Captain, Jocasta is going home.

They don’t do that! They do ask them questions in DR. Gets them thinking. Sometimes they do what BB wants sometimes they don’t.
Ugh I sure don’t want to think that production meddles to THIS degree but it sure seems that way. I know Zach has said that DR always urges him to be mean and even Pow used to say that she hated DR because they always wanted her to be so fake. I mean if they’re going to do that why not just script the whole thing.

Derrick is literally running the whole game. First he wants Zach out; everyone is on board and Zach’s gone. Then he changes his mind and wants him to stay; he stays. It’s amazing how much pull he has over the other HGs. As much as I love Donny, Derrick is playing a far better game, and for Derrick to win, Donny will have to go as hes the only one in the whole house who even suspects Derrick is running things… Crazy.
You are sooo right! As much as they love Donny, I don’t know how they don’t see that he will win against anyone in that game. Derrick is playing an amazing game. Funny, though, he is SO slick that I worry about the jury not realizing what a puppet-master he is!
I’m sure he’ll point it out to them at the appropriate time. 8)
Ughh I wanted Zach gone…. I cannot stand his DRs, I cannot stand him trying to be a villain, I cannot stand him trying so hard to be a BB legend, I cannot stand him trying to get attention every time, I cannot stand him. Can he please freaking leave already. He is so annoying, he is not funny, he is a horrible player, he is not even entertaining, I want him gone already. He was suppose to leave week 2, he was suppose to leave this week. WTF!! Go home Zach. Prays to god that Victoria & Christine change their vote to evict Zach. For my sanity I want Zach gone.
I can’t stand Zach b/c of reasons you listed…but I can also NOT STAND FRANKIE! He is a little weasel and this was supposed to be HIS eviction week! He is just there to act for the camera’s. I can’t wait to see who wins HOH, BOB, & POV in the double elimination tonight!!!
Frankie is mehh… But I really cannot stand Zach. I hope and pray that Donny or Hayden wins HOH during the DE.
So Derrick and Cody decided to stick with the Detonators instead of The Rationale and go with the strength in numbers plan. Happens every year, instead of evicting a strong player when you have a chance, the house guests think “if I keep them, they won’t vote against me” plan. The Detonators fail to realize their game is still strong without Zach.
They only have to look at last season. Amanda lasted as long as she did because Helen and Judd kept saying, now is not a good week to evict her. Guess what happened? Both Judd and Helen got evicted way before Amanda! Judd gets a 2nd chance and what does he do? Trust the same people who voted him out and yet, gets booted out a 2nd time! Frankie, Christine and Zack will take out Derrick and Cody first you watch because you cannot be indecisive in this game! Either go for it or wait to get evicted! I just
hope either Donny or Hayden win the next HOH. With this vote, at least, Hayden and Nicole will know that they have been betrayed. If Donny or Hayden win the HOH, they should put 2 of the Detonators on the block outright! If one gets POV, put another Detonator in place! That gets one of them out! They just have to play hard to win HOH from now on in and target the Detonators over and over! That is their only chance.
I could argue that Judd was involved in Amanda’s eviction last season because he came back and then Amanda was evicted. Judd was just a sacrifice because of McCrae winning the Veto.
As for what could happen tonight, I do agree. I am rooting for Donny and/or Hayden to win HOH and/or PoV tonight.
Keeping Zach could come back to bite Derrick in the ass.
At some point their alliance is going to have to turn on each other and I can see Frankie turning on Derrick in a heart beat, he would have already Zach on his side, he can easily talk Caleb into coming with him and he can flip Christine to his side by telling her he will keep her safe and that would leave Cody & Derrick against the Frankie and his crew.
Unless they win HOH or the veto, Donny, Hayden, Nicole and Victoria will get picked off one by one starting with Donny in the 2nd evection tonight.
I agree – even though I can’t STAND Frankie – he could sway some people to his side, for sure! (Zach especially…eh hem…)
I agree that their strength in numbers will bite them soon. I think Derrick got a little too aggressive here and will be exposed and targeted sooner than later. I don’t think he was as adgregious as Christine, but I think he made the same mistake as her. Question is, can Nicole and Hayden figure it out and do anything abou it?
Gah – this makes me sick. I wanted Frankie out SO bad! SO bad! He got a free pass this week b/c Christine didn’t use veto… Now Nicole is the target for next week – and he’ll get another free pass. The double eviction will be very good this week! Donny is the only one who is really ‘on’ to Derrick…he should start spreading the word!!! I don’t know why everyone is trusting Derrick – but he’s running the show. Victoria is a nasty, negative girl. She never has anything nice to say about anyone…I felt bad for Caleb having to be tied to her, ha! Christine is showing her true colors, that is for sure! Making up blatant lies etc…her time is limited!
If they vote Jocasta out, that proves the duplicity of Derrick and Cody. Better now for Nicole, Hayden, Donny. They have to play each HOH hard now to win it! That is the only protection they have until they can take down some of the Detonators. If they fail, they will all get evicted one by one! I hope Hayden or Donny win the next HOH and put two of the Detonators on the block preferably Cody and Derrick. If Frankie, Zach, Caleb or Christine win POV then, put one of the other three as replacement nominee. One of them is guaranteed to go home! Rinse and repeat if they can win HOH repeatedly and they can dismantle the Detonators and send them scampering like the rats they are!
Put up Derprick vs Fakie. If veto is used then replace with the appropriate minion Derprick/NoB@llsCody or Fakie’ Ratine. This will make the house show where their loyalty is and then its all about HOH.
Caleb is dumb too. He has been put on the block numerous times. Amber who is part of their alliance has been voted out and he thinks he is golden?
Dumb boy. You should be running to the other side. Obviously, he is at the bottom of the totem pole and he does not realize it? If he ends up on the block, he is going to be voted off first after they get rid of Nicole, Hayden and Donny. And if Nicole, Hayden and Donny manage to survive somehow, he will end up on the chopping block too without any votes to save him!
Caleb is so delusional that he still thinks he is the king of the house and rest are his subjects.

I really think that this turn of events has something to do with production. I think they somehow manipulated things so they can make sure that Zach stays to maintain ratings.
They just ask pointed questions like Jeff does on Survivor. It’s a numbers game just like Survivor. If you don’t have them you are done. They probably asked one of them “what will you do if Donny wins HOH and puts up you and Cody. Will you have the numbers?
It’s sad really but that’s exactly what they do. To me I’m thinking if these people are dumb enough to fall for let them fall for it. I’m just gonna sit back and watch the fireworks. I had high hopes for Derrick but I feel this move this week will be his ultimate downfall and all it took was the words of a delusional cowboy wannabe delivered from production, Great Work BB.
Glad Zach is staying, Jocasta has been the weakest link, Let the strong players play it out to the end. Nicole should not be allowed to speak with her fake accent

Now wait a minute……Christine is lying..right? It’s not Nicole and Hayden playing the house..it’s Frankie and Christine. Christine did say all those things to Nicole. Very disappointed with Cody. Donny or Hayden must win that first HOH tonight. I guarantee you production has something to do with this.

Turns out, Cody is a big a rat as Christine. What a shocker that they would be friends. He was one of my favorites until I realized he just does whatever Derrick says, literally.
I just don’t understand why everyone’s gets in such a titter over a reality show that’s not reality at all, most of you if put inside the house would be just as bad if not worst than these people. Let’s face reality, given the opportunity to take home 500 k, let’s just say you would be lying,cheating and doing whatever you needed to, to walk away the winner. And last I heard, CBS is NOT a non-profit organization and so when you think about it, it just makes sense that they’ll do whatever they need to do to get ratings. And “at the end of the day” based on the comments here, I would say that they are being very successful as likely, the amount of viewers tonight is going to skyrocket because of all the commotion this week. As for all you judgemental people out there, maybe CBS should get BMC to go pay you a visit after the show is over and get in your grill, if only he had time, between Survivor, the Bachelor, Naked and alone, stalking Amber, and likely Nicole’s friend, and many many more things he plans on doing………..well maybe y’all got lucky
