CBS has announced the long awaited Big Brother 14 premiere date. We can finally set our clocks to wake up from BB withdrawal hibernation and settle in for a summer of live feeds, backstabbing, lying, and everything else that makes Big Brother awesome.
The Big Brother premiere is scheduled for Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 9PM ET/PT with more episodes on Sundays and Wednesdays at 8PM ET/PT. The live feeds should go active at 10PM PT (1AM ET) following the inaugural episode that night on CBS.

There’s been no official word yet on what will be the season 14 theme for Big Brother, but with just two and a half months left we can start hoping for a few leaks here and there. Though those are often mostly bogus and end up “busted” on premiere night.

I second that. NO more whiny Rachel please! When she was on The Amazing Race I was so disappointed. Anyway, we won’t see her on Survivor, because she is too wimpy! Why do shows continue to have the same people appear on the different Reality shows. I quit watching Survivor because of the same contestants returning. I will do the same with Amazing Race. Big Brother may be next.

I always to be let down because we know little effect the producers always put into the tv shows same script, same types of hgs, same everything.

I did apply twice, the long way in Dec and then did the on line to update some information that i changed since applying in Dec. It is nerve racking waiting to see if they will call, makes me wonder if I should have done something differently but there were a few long lines at open calls and we don’t really know what scenario they are going with this season, I hope they know I can fit into any scenario and go with the flow lol. Maybe I should have shown up at the open calls but then I felt that would have been my 3rd application which would have been to much so I will wait patiently and hope they call and they keep Julie… she’s awesome

i wish they would let canadians in the house , for a change since were neighbors . i would of like to be in there , i hate the news feeds on facebook they post them but i can’t watch them , even if i add big brother , each time i click to watch , all i get is i am out of my range or district to watch ,… that’s sucks ….
Well friends I am waiting to see what the new season will bring….as usual it will be played by the players and discussed by the followers. My 6yo is hooked on bb, we have this thing called bb rules(no talking doing the show). I agree sick of Rachel, my favorite is Danielle. She should have won!
I love the show but just hoping they will have some “real -looking” people! Seems that it gets more & more loaded w/young, beautiful people. Older people give it a more realistic outlook, not just an audition for folks who “want to be” TV personalities!

I do. His early dismal changed the course of the game. And i believe he had a great shot at winning again. He is my personal all time big brother favorite player and he should get another shot.

Hopefully this season consist of strategical players and people who have seen the show and who are big fans that know how to play the game. Instead of the typical “getting a bunch of different people who don’t know how to play the game, but only to cause drama for ratings” and thankfully rachel brendon or jeff isn’t in this season, that’s already a good start. Lets pray that Big Brother gets out of this slump of sucky seasons and turn back into what it use to be.
Rachel/Brendon almost won the last season of the Amazing Race. They came in 3rd place and were in the Finale… I think we can expect to see more of them. The same way we see Boston Rob from survivor in alot of stuff. And i agree… i don’t want to see alot of non-strategic followers on this new season. Lets hope they pick alot of leader type people. The kind that know how to strategize and make power moves.

Why not a Big brother in a Small house? Average size contestants but the house would be built for little people. Short beds, low ceilings…ect…..they can stretch outside but inside its CRUNCH time!!
Great idea…but its been done allready…i believe in BB9 or BB10, a couple of the bedrooms were small that u had to bend down to get through the door and the beds were so small that their feet used to hang out, lol….did u forget that season?…☺….

I have heard absolutely nothing on this coming season. Seems like they are keeping it a big secret until it is just about to be released. Must be something big.
The cast is always kept a secret until just before the season premieres. This is standard.
The cast hasn’t even been finalized yet. They’ve only done the semi-finalists stage so far.
People start that rumor every single season. No, I don’t expect an all-stars season. CBS wouldn’t have spent all the time and money running casting events just as a cover to distract off-season fans from figuring out they were also casting past HGs.

I’m Canadian and have been a fan since day one. Would love to apply but the applicant can not be Canadian. So I have emailed a few Canadian stations to suggest a Canadian version. Fingers crossed it will be here soon. Any other Canadians can feel free to email about getting the show here as well… Till then, I’m hyped about BB14! ;)

Looking thru most of the posts, everyone is dead set on Rachel not coming back into the house at all! So, looks like Rachel is the #1 topic of conversation, the one u love to hate, and most annoying houseguest. Evidentally she’s a ratings grabber. Never a dull moment when she is around. Granted the house is not “ALL ABOUT RACHEL”, but she does get everyone’s blood boiling. All in all she probably isn’t a bad person. Gotta say she’s definately at the top of the list nd could be a great secret villain. Either way it goes, Bring me some Big Brother! Just cannot wait!!!
