In a little over two weeks, our summer distraction returns. Big Brother 27 has the possibility to become one of the biggest and best yet. The official 25th anniversary should bring plenty of memorable and monumental moments. The Big Brother producers have not given much away about the season (yet). However, we expect an influx of information in the coming days.
However, thanks to reliable Big Brother fans and reality TV accounts, we have learned some vital information. This includes a bit more detail on when the houseguests enter sequester and when we shall see the first images of the new Big Brother house design.
On Bluesky, popular Big Brother account Big Brother Gossip revealed that the houseguests enter sequester this weekend. This gives them a little over a week (almost two weeks) sequestered before they enter the Big Brother house. This falls in line with previous Big Brother seasons and their sequester timeline.
This also means the current cast is still out in the wild, likely studying the series before entering the game. Likely, current houseguests are searching social media for any tips and tricks on how to maneuver the game (or at least become the next fan favorite). In May, Parade revealed that this season would feature a complete crop of new houseguests.
This probably means that we shouldn’t expect any returning players, as seen in the past, but that doesn’t rule out some casting twists during Big Brother 27. Could the twin twist return? Could exes play the game together? Could there be a celebrity relative? Anything could happen, especially with such a celebratory season as the 25th anniversary.
We can also likely rule out returning players because so many are appearing on the upcoming fall edition of The Amazing Race. It might be too many Big Brother alumni if even just one appears on Big Brother 27. However, expect the unexpected. We’ll just have to watch to see if any former houseguests change their social media activity this weekend (even if they do it to troll fans and start rumors).
Often accurate and popular reality TV account, Reality TV Fan, reposted Big Brother Gossip’s post to their Instagram account and added that we will see house photos next week. This is also not a surprise and checks out with the normal schedule. We likely won’t get to meet the new houseguests officially until a few days before the Big Brother 27 premiere, on July 10th.
