This Week On Big Brother 17: Season Premiere & Live Feeds Launch

This week on Big Brother 17 the season premiere arrives with a two-night event starting Wednesday, June 24th at 8/7c followed by a second episode on Thursday at 8/7c, and the launch of the Big Brother Live Feeds & “After Dark” following the west coast conclusion of the second show.

We’ve met the new BB17 cast and toured the redesigned house, but we’re still waiting for the 2015 season to kick off with our first look at the Houseguests in action. They’ve been in the house since last Thursday which lends credibility to the rumor that someone will be evicted on the second show.

The premiere episode of Big Brother 17 will be filled with the traditional “I’m shocked to find this key in my stuff at work!” segments as the fourteen Houseguests are gathered and sent off to meet in front of the house. Last year the HGs were split in to two groups with an arrival on separate episodes and something like that is possible, but nothing solid there yet.

At the end of the second episode we may be down one Houseguest which I think would be far more welcome than keeping them in there for two weeks before the first eviction. Once the show is over in the west coast the Live Feeds will turn on at 9PM PT (12AM ET) along with Big Brother After Dark.

Once the Feeds go live so will our Big Brother spoilers thanks to online reveals of who won any competitions since the events of the first two shows ended. If there’s been no eviction then we’ll probably be waiting to hear about Veto results, but if someone did go home we could be hanging on for an HoH result and nomination plans. It could be a busy night for spoilers!

If you haven’t signed up yet for your Live Feeds then be sure to get ready. Feeds are bundled with what CBS calls “All Access” this year and that is the only way to watch inside the house uncensored. The cost is just $5.99/month and includes your Feeds + every episode of Big Brother ever. You’ll need to be a US resident to get signed up as well. I know, that’s a bummer.

Remember that going through our links & banners to register & order your Feeds is a big part of what keeps us up and running so we greatly appreciate your support. Thank you!

  1. Matt do you know if there will be a link that says live feeds on the CBS website? As of now when I go to the site I can click on “My CBS” and it just had past BB episodes. No link with live feeds.

    • Do you see Jeff’s casts interview? That is the live feeds when it actually starts. Isn’t it? I just click the live feeds link here and it takes me there. The opening screen says “Early Birds” Live Feeds

      • I didn’t see that. I have a CBS app but maybe I’ll try to get to them from here. I did see Jeffs interviews but when I opened the app he was there and I just watched from there.

      • The Live Feeds are not available on the app. They can only be accessed from the actual website.

    • Yeah, if I go to the CBS/bigbrother site I see a menu link for Live Feeds. Click that loads things up for me. You can also use any of the banners here to direct you right in to your Feeds or the login page.

  2. I personally don’t like early evictions because I like to get to know the cast a little first. And it will allow all their games to play out.

    • Players went in on Thursday, so for them, they will have a whole week of play before they have to evict one of them.

    • It does cut out some time for viewers, but I like that it doesn’t force the HGs to lay around for nearly two solid weeks with no pressure to play the game or lift their heads.

      • Matt you need to write a blog about your time in LA. Nice interview but I want to hear about what else you saw and heard. Please dish out. Who else did you see ? What else did you learn that you can share ? Inquiring mind want to know. LOL

      • I think they should be around as the first few days are getting settled anyway – getting to know each other – to each his own though. The viewers should take precedence here in my opinion. I am for relaxing starts.

    • It’s that time of year again when my husband says “are you watching those feeds again?” I have dibs on the computer in the family room so he has to bring out his laptop!
