After watching some interesting conversations earlier in the day as Caleb prepared for Monday’s Veto Ceremony there was a return to his previous arguments and this time he didn’t seem to be backing down. Could this finally be the end of the road for Frankie?
Sunday was a busy day for the Big Brother 16 Live Feeds as there was actually a lot of game talk about making a big move that could actually shake up the game finally. But then Caleb went to the Diary Room and came out with his mind almost completely changed.
There was a lot of talk about what almost might/could/maybe/probably won’t happen at Monday’s veto ceremony. But with these flip-floppers, anything is possible. Find out what else happened on the Big Brother Feeds in the house yesterday.
Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Sunday, August 31, 2014:
I feel like I’m writing the same Big Brother 16 recap over and over and over. Do you guys feel like you’re watching the same episode over and over and over? All summer long, Big Brother 16 has just been more of the same. And this week is no different.
The episode picks up in the middle of the slippery Head of Household competition. But we get a flashback to just before last week’s eviction where Frankie is begging the other housguests to keep Donny over Nicole. But I’m not sure what the point in this footage is because it didn’t happen. We also get footage of Nicole finding out what Frankie was trying to do.
Apparently this was all to build suspense for us. You know, get us thinking that maybe Nicole might just win this HOH. But that’s not what happens at all and Big Brother has wasted our time once again. In the end, Caleb fills up his snowman first and wins Head of Household. He’s not feeling too well after it (and neither is anyone else), but he’s got the key this week.
It’s time for Frankie and Derrick to talk about how America didn’t vote for them and for Frankie to work his magic on the non-Live Feed watchers by looking into the camera and telling America he does not care what we think. So there you go, non-Feed watchers, there’s a look at the Frankie a majority of fans have been watching all summer. He doesn’t care that you liked Donny. He only cares about himself.
After ruling as HoH just last week Cody stumbled in a color-coded comp when he couldn’t remember a series of details and became the first HG to be eliminated. Along with the embarrassment of being out before any of his competitors Cody received an additional layer of shame in a nice shade of green.
Introducing the Dino-Mite costume, a play on words from the competition’s theme of disarming bombs. Apparently it was Nicole’s chance to cut the wires on the Bomb Squad this week.
Cody will have to wear this costume for a full week unless he’s sleeping or in the pool so expect to see plenty of him on both fronts. Overall he’s taking it very well and the HGs are enjoying it immensely. Of course the steady stream of alcohol last night wasn’t hurting their fun factor.
Hah, just realized that Cody may have to compete in the Double Eviction while dressed up as a dinosaur. Uh oh, is the costume curse about to make a return to the Big Brother house this week?
See all the pictures of Cody Calafiore as Dino-Mite in gallery below:
The Big Brother 16 Feeds offered up some interesting discussions yesterday as the Houseguest numbers continue to dwindle and tough decisions will soon need to be made. With Frankie Grande back in a vulnerable position, will this finally be the week to take him out?
As the house majority alliance featuring Derrick, Cody, Frankie, Christine, and Caleb gathered on Saturday to review the potential scenarios for post-Veto decisions we saw an interesting cascade of discussions. Flashback to 1:00PM BBT 8/30 as Christine has just left and the guys continue to talk.
Caleb, who has been pushing the idea of maintaining all five of the allies sticking together, raises the question: do they care more about fame or the game? How is this even a question? Caleb’s concern here is that if the five of them reach F5 then he says that will be the largest, most powerful alliance to stick together until that point in the game.
While Caleb has recently made strong moves and pivoted to improve his position in the game, it’s perplexing to find him hung up on a footnote in the season rather than concerning himself with making strategic moves. Moves like Backdooring Frankie.
Big Brother 16 is back tonight on CBS at 8PM ET/PT with the conclusion of the Head of Household endurance competition from Thursday night following Donny’s eviction. Could Nicole overcome the odds and secure her safety for a chance to shake up the game?
Sadly Donny Thompson was sent packing but he was greeted by a great crowd with lots of cheers and support. You can read my eviction interview with Donny for some of his thoughts on the season as he heads off to the Jury house including who he hopes wins & his favorite memory of BB16.
The HoH endurance comp lasted several hours on Thursday and proved to be a great challenge. I was impressed by how hard the HGs worked even with the numbers stacked so heavily on one side. There were a ton of spills and it all came down to a very close race. Here are a few preview pics:
Once the new HoH was crowned the talks began immediately for who should take a seat on the block. You might just be surprised by the choices made this week, but with the Veto comp ahead there was still plenty of chances for a change.
Can’t wait to find out who who wins HoH & who goes on the block? I have those Big Brother spoilers right now if you want to get ahead of tonight’s show.
