It is Power of Veto Day for Week 8 of Big Brother 26! This week’s Head of Household named their two nominees this week and now it’s time to see which Big Brother houseguests will be joining in on the Veto Day festivities. Read on to find out who will be playing in this week’s Power of Veto Competition on BB26.
This week Chelsie secured her safety by winning the HOH competition on Thursday night. On Friday, she nominated Angela and Kimo for eviction telling some of the house that Kimo is her target while telling others that her target is Angela. There is also a possibility of a backdoor plan depending on if one of this week’s nominees wins the Veto and takes themself off the block. With the BBAI Arena ending, this is the only opportunity the nominees will have to earn their safety.
There has been some chatter among the HGs this morning about what they would do if they won the Power of Veto this week. So let’s find out who will be playing and if there is a chance that one of this week’s nominees will be safe and if the BD plan will play out.
Power of Veto Players for Week 8:
- Chelsie (HOH)
- Kimo and Angela (Noms)
- Rubina, Quinn, and MJ
Chelsie was telling MJ Saturday morning that she didn’t want to be the one to win this week’s Power of Veto. She is worried that she will be pressured by the nominees to take one of them down and BD someone else. She would much prefer that this decision wasn’t left to her since she is very comfortably playing the middle at this stage in the game and her not using the Veto could reveal her hand.
Kimo and Angela will obviously use the Veto on themselves if they were to pull off a win. As of right now, if that scenario should play out, Leah is looking like the likely renom option. We have seen things change drastically this season in a very short period of time, so we will have to keep an eye on that if one of the noms wins the Veto.
If Rubina wins, she will want to use the Veto on Kimo, but she will likely not want to rock the boat with Chelsie. If Chelsie tells Rubina that she doesn’t want the Veto used, she might not use it. Quinn will not use the Veto if he wins because he won’t want to open Leah up to the possibility of going on the block this week. If MJ wins, she won’t use the Veto either because she is closely aligned with Chelsie and Chelsie would rather see the nominations stay the same. Angela was happy to see MJ get picked because she thinks that she will use the Veto on her, but I don’t see that happening.
