Following the double eviction on Big Brother the Houseguests competed in another HoH competition. Now we know who won HoH last night and have a glimpse at what to expect in the coming week for nominations & targets. Unless that Rewind button twist throws the whole week away…
No one should have been surprised by the first eviction of the night, but the second one probably caught at least a few HGs off guard. The remaining players moved on to the backyard after the show and now we have a new HoH. Results below plus an important update on the Rewind twist.
Big Brother 16 – Week 11 Head of Household:
Thanks to last night’s wild Double Eviction live show not one, but two Houseguests were eliminated from Big Brother 16. Most of us could see the writing on the wall for the first evicted HG, but with a DE anything is possible.
After watching Nicole Franzel sent out the door in another unanimous vote with all four HGs against her she returned to the familiar chair next to Julie Chen. She wouldn’t be alone for long though as another Big Brother 16 HG was not far behind.
Following Nicole’s eviction a second HoH competition was held and Derrick won the power in a ridiculous comp that ended in one round when everyone but him got it wrong. Derrick had to select two new nominees. That lead to Christine and Victoria going up on the block.
Julie notes that while Nicole and Christine walked out the door this week that might not happen to next week’s nominees and that all depends on this new twist.
Here’s how Big Brother describes the new “Rewind” twist:
If that button is pushed in the coming days, then next week’s vote will stop live on the air, the two nominees will immediately come off the block. The game will rewind and the game will be replayed.
That means next week’s nominees could go from being on the block to becoming Head of Household.
As for when it arrives, Julie says we’ll see the Big Brother Rewind “unleashed on the Houseguests” during Sunday’s episode. That means we’ll find out more about it happening from the Live Feeds by the end of Friday. Since Sunday’s shows end with the nominations ceremony, which are held Friday evenings, the Rewind will have to get involved before that is over.
The Houseguests only know the button exists in the house as it was displayed to them on the Memory Wall screens, but they don’t have any other details. Caleb is convinced it will reward them all with cash and MUST be pushed. Frankie warns Caleb he will kill him in his sleep if he pushes the button, but later says he might go along if no one returns by pressing it.
What do you think will happen this upcoming week with the twist? I’m guessing the button will get pressed, but you never know! Stick with us for more details as they become available.
Update: The twist room has opened! Houseguests are inspecting the room and speculating on what could happen next. They still don’t know any details.
Update 2: The button has been pushed! After the HoH comp the HGs raced in and were greeted by a message reading “The Choice Is Yours. It Only Takes One.” Frankie encouraged everyone to push it so they all put their hands on it and did it.
Immediately after pushing the button the screen changed to a clock counting down to next Wednesday at 5PM PT. The HGs do not know the next eviction show will arrive a day early, but they’ll now know to expect something. The entire week will be redone and most likely right on the spot like Thursday’s DE with this HoH not counting .
Update 3: Since Derrick is the outgoing HoH for this week’s round of events I had assumed we’d see him ineligible to compete in the “rewound” HoH comp coming up on Wednesday. Seems that’s not the cast, according to Julie Chen in an interview with EW:
If the rewind button gets pushed, the two nominees next week come off the block and we immediately rewind the game one week. That means all house guests play for HOH all over again.
Hmm. Well that certainly changes things. Maybe Julie didn’t mean ALL all Houseguests, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens on Wednesday.
Julie teased a new twist will hit the house tonight! There’s a photo showing a gold button that looks like the “reset” button. Combine that button with news that the Have-Not room was rebuilt & sealed last night and we could get something very interesting along with tonight’s double elimination.
Not one, but two Houseguests will be sent home as the HGs race through an entire week’s competitions and ceremonies in just one hour. These are typically the most intense shows of the season and with all the flipping and blindsiding expected we shouldn’t be disappointed.
Big Brother 16 Week 10 Votes:
- Christine votes to evict: Nicole
- Derrick votes to evict: Nicole
- Frankie votes to evict: Nicole
- That’s enough votes. It’s official.
- Cody votes to evict: Nicole
Nicole Franzel has been evicted, again. 4-0 this time.
Competitors have to fill in the blank from a previous HG’s bleep comment with True or False based on what Julie tells them. It’s a memory game from what HGs said in the season so far.
Big Brother 16 Week 10.5 Head of Household Comp – “What The Bleep?”:
- Round 1: False! Derrick just won HoH in one round!
Everyone but Derrick guessed ‘True’ with a question about Donny reading his letter from home. It was ‘False.’ Derrick is the new HoH! His noms are coming up.
We get to see Derrick talking with the other HGs. He promises Victoria safety, but she’s going up against Christine. Derrick tells Caleb that if Christine comes down then Frankie goes up and out.
Big Brother 16 Week 10.5 Nominations:
If Christine doesn’t win the Veto then she will most likely go home. Let’s see what happens!
Big Brother 16: Double Eviction Targets For Tonight’s Live Show – Nomination & Renom Scenarios – Update| September 4, 2014 at 2:30 PM EST
Tonight on Big Brother 16 the next Double Eviction arrives and that means two more players will be knocked out of the race in a whirlwind competition. With little time to plan during the compressed schedule of events the HGs best have their plans ready. Lucky for them, they do.
Derrick has spent the past few days planting and tending to his eviction seeds. Now it’s nearly time to harvest his yield. But hang on, it doesn’t look like everyone was quite on board with his ideas and that could give us something to watch for. Here’s what we can expect in tonight’s Big Brother DE.
second third time in the saddle as Head of Household (second time of getting to do the HoH pics) on Big Brother 16 and unlike the past few weeks of sad and lonely HoH pics there was actually a something going in with these. Could that be a sign that HGs like Caleb better than Cody and his multiple installments of solitary HoH cam pics? Maybe it’s just the lack of people sleeping in half of his pictures that give that impression.
Either way check out what the HGs were up to and see how much fun Nicole was having in her final days in the house. Again.
