Well, seeing that everything that has happened the last few days of Big Brother 16 is all pointless – since Julie will come on the screen tomorrow night and say – “Lets do it all over again” thanks to the Big Brother Rewind I think doing player rankings this week is pointless as well. So – I will mix it up and give out Bacon to the first 5 evictees and recap their games (or in some cases lack there of).
Joey – 5 strips of BACON – wait, what? Joey was the first person voted out and I am giving her the most bacon possible?? Yes – she was right from the start. She knew that the boys were all starting to get together early on and wanted to do something about it. Sadly in the Big Brother house – what you say does not always matter, how you say it does. She was a free spirit and let her mouth get her in trouble – but that does not change the fact that she was right and every girl on the way out the door must have thought to themselves – why didn’t we listen to Joey?
She will be remembered as the first person in Team America – but never had a chance to do anything to win the $. I feel like the producers should have had Team America in place right from the get go – instead of waiting a couple of weeks to add people to it. This could have given her a chance to stay the first week – and who knows how many other characters she would have come up with. OK, maybe 5 strips of Bacon is too much for her – but she was a player I would have loved to see more of.
Paola – 1 strip of Bacon – Paola was one of my preseason picks – because she is a NYC girl – but the the twist this season made her the easy nominee the 2 weeks she was in the house. As someone who did not know much about the show before getting casted – she will be remembered not so much for her gameplay as she will for epic speeches & fashion poses. Watching her friendship with Donny blossom was sweet – but she should have spent some more time trying to get to know the others as well.
If not for wishy washy Devin – chances are she could have been the Victoria of the season… instead she got to go home early and continue her DJ career. Since she is also a HUGE fan of bacon, giving her only 1 strip of “virtual bacon” is ok – cause I am sure we will dine on swine all over NYC in real life!
We’re getting down to the wire on Big Brother 16 and with the HG numbers dwindling and his game pieces on the block Derrick is preparing to cut one of them loose, but not without capitalizing on the loss.
Last night Derrick did a little camera talking at 10:23PM BBT after discussing the Victoria situation with Frankie. Alone in the Fire room Derrick told the camera that he was about to pull off his own version of Dan’s Funeral. Okay, that right there is an immensely lofty goal, but let’s see where he goes with it.
I could probably summarize the Big Brother 16 Live Feeds from yesterday in this one sentence: “The HGs slept all day and then had the same conversation about the rewind button and Wednesday’s live show over and over and over.” But I’ll try to be a little more thorough for you and try new tricks that make redundancies seem less redundant.
By the end of the night Derrick was actually trying to make a move, but it didn’t seem to do as much as he had hoped. Find out what else happened on the Big Brother Feeds in the house yesterday.
Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Monday, September 8, 2014:
Which Houseguest is your favorite this week on Big Brother? Cast your vote now & tell us why you think he or she is the best of the season. This is purely a popularity poll so feel free based on who you think is playing the best game, looks the cutest by the pool, or even just annoys you the least. I’ll keep running this each week for the rest of the season for fun.
We are getting closer and closer to the America’s Favorite Player voting by CBS so this could give us a hint of who is going to pull off the big win there.
Check out our past popularity polls to see the latest trends for this season’s Houseguests on BB16.
The Big Brother Rewind twist may open up some interesting scenarios after we already saw the first run at the week. Now with the house hopping up and down to get out Frankie they may have another chance as things move back to “go!”
If there was no Rewind this week then Victoria would be the one walking out the door, but she’s lucked in to a second shot at survival. More importantly for the guys battling their pink-frosted competitor for a share of the wins, they’ve lucked in to another shot at Frankie.
This week’s Power of Veto comp is about to be rewound thanks to the latest twist to hit Big Brother. With all the week’s events being nullified we came close to seeing some hidden motives reveal to the House.
Viewers know the entire week’s efforts by HGs won’t matter for official results, but any of their actions could linger in their minds when it comes to the final steps of the season. Like watching another HG’s private DR sessions this twist could have given a sneak peek of looming betrayals.
The Veto competition on Saturday was decided by just 23 seconds and while the second place player in that comp regrets those results, I think he should be very grateful.
