Big Brother 12 Starts July 8 – First Video Released

Can you feel it? Big Brother 12 is right around the corner and CBS makes it even one step closer for us with the very first Big Brother commercial of the season announcing the new season starts July 8, 2010. Are you ready?!

Check out the first BB12 commercial below but if you’re dying for even more Big Brother content then grab the free trial of the Live Feeds and enjoy all of the past two seasons on instant replay. It’s like a DVR for Big Brother and I can think of one insane night that would make for some fun trips down memory lane!

Update: CBS has revealed that BB12 will air on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8PM this summer instead of the usual Su/Tu/Th schedule.

  2. This is so awesome! The first clue to the season was on that commercial, “Big Brother gets even bigger”! What does this mean? Bigger cast? Bigger house? Can’t wait for CBS to release something new so we can start to piece the theme for this season together!

  3. I’d love for it to be a bigger cast this year. I was too excited for it just to be a Big Brother 12 commercial that I didn’t even start digging below the surface, but you’re right that it could mean something.

July 8th would be a great day for me to on Big brother it is my anniversary that would be my way to celebrate and hope to win $ 500,000 for my future. Well let the fun start Big Brother looks like it is fun in the sun. That is a great commercial it is huge it shows a lot of excitement.

  17. I hqave not seen anything about Showtime being involved with the 3 hours a night from 9 to 12pm each night like years in the past with Big Brother..I sure hope this is sill happening for BB12

  19. Rita, I’m sure there will be BBAD on Showtime this year, but if not there are always the live feeds, you can watch the HG’s 24/7! I’m sure there’s a link on this page to get them.

  22. I think the only obvious thing would be to make the cast “bigger” this year. Maybe that’s what the commercial meant. I think it is definitely time to do a Fans vs. Favs edition. Would suck if I am not on there but I’d still watch. Everything happens for a reason. If its meant for me to be on this season then I’ll be on.

  23. Bigger!! Sweet!! Maybe they liked my video of me…I got into the cookies right before the deadline of the videos!! LOL Ok, I was, and still am a size 6, but instead of a 4/6 I was an actual 6… That is ‘big’ for me.

    I guess on TV, that 6 turns into a 12/14. Look at Oprah… I’m sure she’s not that big.

    Whether it’s big people ( I don’t think they would do that, TV watchers are too vain to watch overweight people) Big money, bigger house, more people, who cares… I MISS BIG BROTHER!!

    I will be disappointed that they didn’t choose me. How will you guys feel if you aren’t picked? Am I just being a spoiled brat, or will you feel disappointed too?

  25. That would sure put a spin on things if they had Speidi on BB12. Everyone would so watch. I think that they should add as well Kate and Jon Gosselin… Who else could they add as a third Crack Head Couple…

  40. @ Lowell Anybody, please correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the contestant info is released about 2 weeks before the premiere of the show, so I’m guessing about the third week of June. I hope CBS plans another “Press Day” this year!

  43. @Mal: The live feeds are typically $15/mo, but last year before the show started they ran a promotion where it was only $10/mo. Keep checking back here when the season gets close and I’ll have all promotion details posted.

    @ChiBrad: They usually release the details just days before the HGs actually enter the house. Then they’re in there a few days before the first show airs anyway. We get our first live feeds glimpse immediately after the end of the premiere episode.

I am in the count down, and I hope that the H.G. are all fun loving players.I tape B.B.A.D. every night, and watch it the following morning.It is my favorite show ever !!! I also would like to know when we will get to see the H.G. I still think that there should be two seasons a year.

  50. scott, BBAD is free if you have Showtime2. I checked Showtime’s schedule and there is no mention of BBAD. Boo! Hopefully, this will change, otherwise we still have the live feeds!

  54. I love big brother and have been a fan since it first started. Its the one show I live for and Quirky Dude is the best to keep you updated. I can’t wait for season 12 and for more drama in the BBhouse. I wish we could get a peek at what is to come because BB is always filled with comedy, romance and fights. Come on Big Brother we are waiting for you.

  72. Yes there will be BB12 on Showtime2 this season, starts on the same date as BB12 July 8th.
    I don’t re-call where I read it but I did read this info online a few weeks ago, so I hope this helps all you BB fans asking about Showtime2…….IT WILL BE ON JULY 8th.
    I’ve already ordered Showtime on my Directv so I’m ready & waiting!!!!

  73. I’ve been following the whole big brother auditions and everything else via this website. I’m glad to know that this website exists and is very active as to what is going on with BB12. I must say that with a very heavy heart of my complete and total disappointment that I was not chosen this year. I had that feeling that I stood out when I went to the audition because I felt like I was “on” and said the right thing and acted appropriately for someone that might be chosen. The past 3 years have been the roughest in my life. My wife and I are unemployed. We are in a fragile financial state. We can’t make our mortgage payments and I recently had a bout with shingles and I guess I can pretty much say that life really sucks. I have become the quintessential “charity” case in the family because of how things are going for us. I can’t begin to tell you HOW BADLY I WANTED TO GET PICKED FOR BB12!! I’m sorry if this sounds like the “woe is me” thing. But I really feel like this was the last dream that I wanted to come true. I’m an artist and I write children’s books and I even have 2 published. So- quit moaning right? Yeah, I guess so. But the truth of the matter is that even though I have these things that I truly love and appreciate. I never found the success that I really wanted with these things. I just wanted this soooooo badly. Have you ever wanted something so badly that there’s a pain-an emptiness that runs so deep in your soul that you just can’t touch it? I feel like this all the time. I really thought that I would make it this time. This would have been something that created so much as it does for the others that appear on the show. I guess I can go on and on. But it’s all said and done now. To those who read this and if you reply I just hope you know that I’m just a regular person trying to make my dreams come true like anyone else. Please don’t hate me and think I’m a whiner. I just wanted this so badly. Thanks for reading/listening to my moaning and groaning.

  77. i think it would be cool to have a big brother celeb show and the money could go to their favorite charity.could you just imagine the mix of people you could have. if donald trump can do it why not big brother, something to consider,
